Never had to wait very long, but more importantly, the care I've always received has been exemplary. I highly recommend!

Once in a room, I saw a Dr quickly and she confirmed my suspicions of a sinus infection. Gave me a prescription for a antibiotic and recommended a steroid shot to relieve the sinus pressure. I agreed and received the shot and was back in my car within 10 minutes of getting into a room. All in all not bad...BUT...then came the bills! For the office visit, labor to stick me with a shot (yes, a separate charge), and the medicine for the shot (another separate charge) $427.50 ($290.29 after insurance). Then get this. The Dr. sent me another separate bill for $112 ($65 after insurance). I have been to other urgent cares on numerous occasions, received the exact same services including a steroid shot, and have never paid more than $120 depending on deductible. If you go here DO NOT get them to do anything but prescribe medicine. Or just don't go here and get ripped off. My office visit bill is currently in collection due to me refusing to pay it. Take charge of your health people. Ask Dr.s the cost of everything BEFORE they give it. I could have had 6 days of a steroid prescription for $4 instead. Lesson learned!!! I will never do business with this facility again.

They told me I was "over exaggerating". They wouldn't give me any meds and told me not to "over react" and sent me home. The next day I woke up with a 104.6 fever. I was delirious. I was beading sweat. I couldn't hold urine. I couldn't eat or drink and I could barely walk. I told my wife "I think I have a UTI I need the hospital now I feel like my body is dying". We get the hospital. They tell me I'm a "frequent flyer". I said I just need a urine test I think it's a UTI. The lady came in and said this is "typical withdrawal" and insisted I was coming off something. They asked to do a drug a test, I said of course. Next thing I know they are trying to force pain pills down my throat as I am having blood work done. I asked what the pills were- they said norco. I said if I'm having a drug test why would I take that? Then as there doing my blood, my body went into a seizure from how sick I was. I came back with a needle stuck In my arm sitting In the chair with the nurse watching me. From there they sent me to a room and left me in there. They did an IV 10 minutes later and then had my urine sample checked. I asked to change the Iv because it was Infiltrated. The nurse came in and yelled at me telling me "you have tattoos you can handle some pain". From there they discharged me 20 Minutes later with no results. Said "check the portal" threw the papers on the bed and left. We left and at 3am the results were loaded to the portal. At this point it's 730am. I have a 105.2 fever and I'm getting much worse. I can barely move. I call my primary. I started crying telling the receptionist what happened. She had me text her the screenshots. I got a phone call three mins later from my doctor. She said I had a life threatening uti. My body was shutting down. She said she was sending me meds and if my fever didn't break within 30-60 mins I needed to go to Christus. Thank god as soon as I got the meds my fever stated dropping. That was the worst experience I ever had and I will never step foot in that place again. They have no idea what patient care is. They treat everyone as if they are drug seeking.

After 7 days of being in ICU, I found a pill laying on my moms table and yet they said she was charted she took her meds, then what was that? did she get it or not? Next time I set my timer because I never saw her nurse the whole time I was there and once the time was going I walked in and out to see and everyone ignored the call button! I asked a lady for ice and to speak to the nurse and told her what what going on. My mom never got her dinner! The first nurse said that my moms nurse said she offered her a ensure? really when she has a meal? then when I confronted her 27 mins later when she came she said that was on the person before her and that she offered her an ensure but magically when the manager came she offered it and my mom said NO. They wanted to know if I wanted to warm it up to give to her because she was hungry. UM no you don't heat up food that has been out for 3 or 4hrs later hanging out on a nurses desk. We all know hospital food isn't good even hot but in ICU when it is suppose to be vital to be clean and no germs! The problem is her story was different so which was it? My mom said in front of them that she didn't offer no food to the nurse. So, I had my mom tell them to bring it in her room no matter what! I mean that is what they normally do anyways. Then, today I went in there and was videoing my mom bc I didn't know what was going on and she was hurting. The guy was being pissy and said are you videoing and I said absolutly, I wasn't rude or anything and all he had to say was you couldn't video or take pics but that is funny because I did all week took a few pics but no video. why not??? No ones face was in it! No information was in it! They had security escort me out even though I did NOT get crazy or anything just inquired about what was going on. These people did it just to get me out because they are getting called out and not doing their job. They kept poking her to find veins which I understand but why they couldn't give her oral pain meds until I got there and asked when was the last time. I explained to one nurse I was just trying to find out what was going on. But NO they were all in a little group like they did something cool. The care today has gone to crap! They just want to sit there on their phones and get paid.

BAD! BAD! BAD! I am in the medical profession and I must say this place is sad!…read moreI was here visiting and had to take my father here and the ENTIRE experience was dreadful. To begin, it is not easily accessible to anyone in a wheelchair. The main door electronic doors do not even work. The bathroom did not have any soap, and this is bad especially for a health clinic. Then my favorite part, the rudest receptionist in any medical clinic I have ever come across, and she is a senior, who you think would have more compassion for other seniors! WRONG!! She quickly tells you NO AND I CANNOT AND WILL not to any requests, then you have to ask for a manager who comes out with a fake caring attitude to overrides her decisions to keep the business going. Once you are in the back of the office, expect to WAIT! We waited 2 1/2 hours to not see a real doctor, but a Nurse Pract. WHAT???? All of the staff need a good lesson on time management, customer service, and just plane ole southern hospitality. This clinic is poorly run and they do not seem to know medicine. My father had borderline pneumonia and although given the right anti biotic, he was given a cough syrup that completely dried him out instead of breaking up the mucus. When we spoke to his internal medicine doctor, finally after he returned from vacation, he changed everything this nurse pract. did. So you have been warned! Go to the Premier Urgent Care!! AVOID CENLA URGENT CARE AND THE RUDE LADY AT THE RECEPTION DESK!!!

Sorry for the length it's copied from the letter send to our congressman…read more What can I say, this place raises my blood pressure like no other. A few years ago I had issues with my father and the VA which is a story in itself but I ended up talking to Cong. Ralph Abraham. 3 years later I'm right back at the same spot. The community choice program was enacted approx 4-5 years ago to allow vets to see outside PCPs & specialist when they live over 60 miles away. VA not only wouldn't recommend this service but dissuaded vets by telling them their request wouldn't be approved. We bypassed that with help from Cong. Abraham and for a couple years had no issues seeing outside drs. It was a nightmare to get the referrals and approvals but was doable if vigilant. If a vet doesn't like his team Dr( there are approximately 8 teams at this location) they can request a change. We request a team change in August of 2016, it took 13 months before he was changed. His only options were to continue to see the Dr that he was unhappy with. He would have to go to urgent care to be seen during this time had he not been on the CC program. They way it worked, you contacted TriWest(whose in charge of referrals and approvals). If you don't get these prior approvals in hand it's likely they won't pay. They worked fairly quickly by VA standards. Older vet wouldn't be able to get this done. After seeing outside Drs we had multiple issues with the VA team. Despite telling the team Dr and every nurse we encountered, do not change their medications or treatment without seeing the vet or consulting the CC PCP. Dr. kept changing medications and treatment without seeing the vets or consulting with CC PCP. The CC PCP had to call and change everything back. This program also takes almost a year to pay so many Drs don't want to mess with them. But after lots of work we got it done and it worked reasonably well for 2 years. typical day at the VA. We could no longer contact TriWest to get referrals and their CC primary care Dr could no longer request referrals to specialist or Drs. We were told by TriWest and VA staff that from that point on to see an outside Dr. The vet must drive to the Alex VA to see team Dr to get a referral to see his PCP. No other way to see an CC PCP. Have to wait wks/mths to see the team Dr, must see VA Dr or specialist to get the referrals to an outside specialist. To be clear, we drive over 65 miles, see 1 Dr wait for appt with VA specialist to refer to CC Dr. One vet had a diabetic ulceration on his foot that had reopened after a 16 months of extensive treatment, Contacted his team Dr, yellow team, Dr Santiago. to Next available appt was 4 mnths. advised to go to urgent care. CC is essentially useless now. At the last primary VA appt, put in for the referrals to continue his care with his PCP and cardiologist but don't expect it to be approved. The RN said she had never had a single request approved to see an outside Dr, NEVER. We did get approval to continue to see their outside cardiologist, but no news on outside primary care. Need diabetic shoes. 6 appts in 8 months. 1st apt, get boot for the foot with ulcer. 2nd , pick up and have boot fitted. I expressed concern for the other foot that's bearing all the weight to ensure it doesn't develop an ulceration.. 3rd apt,, measured for shoes, did molds for inserts. 4th apt, shoes but no inserts.repeated molds & reordered. 5th visit, inserts in new shoes, way too tight. The inserts weren't taken into consideration when measured. 6th visit...that was today. This is a typical day at the VA. Had an appt for the CC cardiologist. He had ran out of 1 medication. Previous day I contacted the pharmacy to order the refill. Told the script was expired. Called the CCPCP to get a refill since we would be close by. Arrived at pharmacy next day, told that it hasn't been sent in. Went outside to call Dr since no reception inside VA. Dr said they did send it but would resend it and call them. Told that they did have It but refused to fill it because the referral to his CC program had not been completed, no emergency supply either. told to go to UC, crammed full. contacted CC PCP to call in script. Then to prosthetics dept as they were calling us to set up an appt. knocked on both doors in prosthetic dept no answer. I saw the prosthetics dr in hallway & explained we were in town and had a call saying they were in. He advised that he could see him. Provider opened the shoes to unlace them at which point I told him they were supposed to be velcro he cannot tie his shoes the provider continue to loosen the laces and try to put the shoe on his foot. At this point I told him, as did the veteran that these shoes would not work. The provider stated that he ordered shoes with velcro but that's what they sent, So here we are.....
