I heard this theater was remodeled 3 or 4 years ago and decided to check it out. It's small but charming. Everything was clean and in good shape. The carpets didn't have stains, no trash on the floor (or not much anyway). Ceiling tiles are stylized and new looking. Lighting on the walls was on the fancy side. Good painted designs on the walls. For the smaller size, there are at least 6 theaters on the lower floor and more on the second. The new seats are nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were also well kept. The theater itself was very clean and well lit. The projector (which is at least 4K resolution) was bright, perfectly focused, and centered on the screen. The sound was not too loud and climate was not too cold, just right in my opinion. Prices are also reasonable and as with most places, going to the mid-afternoon matinee with save you a few dollars. Matinees as of July 2022 seem to be $8.50 for adults with night showings at $11. Ticket and snack prices are on the lower side compared to larger chain theaters. I learned this theater has some history and the owner, Dave, did a great job with the remodel. I've met him personally and the theater also does some community outreach with FNB Mortgage and other Murfreesboro businesses. I've added a photo of the menu as of July 2022. Don't sleep on this smaller theater! While there aren't to big fancy chairs like other newer theaters, it's nice to be able to go enjoy a movie without having to pay $25. It's clean, well kept, and offers a nice variety of movies. The snacks and drinks are a bit expensive, but I guess that can slide a little since the cost of the ticket is relatively cheaper than other theaters. read more

My dad has Alzheimer's but still loves to go to the movies. My parents love this theatre so we decided to check it out with 4 teenage boys and my daughter. It was charming, Art deco Hollywood styled and comfortable. It may not have reclining seats but they were plush and clean. Will definitely be back. read more

This place is cool! It makes me nostalgic for how theaters used to be. It is objectively an old style, basic seating kind of theater, but that is actually part of the charm. It is super well run and clean and their snack bar prices are way less of a ripoff than the big national chains. The employees are friendly as well. Went to the Premier 6 yesterday at 3. They are giving all mothers a complimentary ticket for Mothers day! What a great Theater!!! You don't see the other theater doing anything like that. This theater has been in the Boro for ages. It's locally owner and not part of any of the big theater chains (AMC or Malco). That being said, it's actually my favorite place to see a movie in the Boro. It's small, rarely crowded, staff is super friendly, and the the prices are way lower than the big chains. A few years ago, the theater was starting to show its age, but recently, the place has been cleaned up a lot and it's seems cleaner than the bigger theaters in the Boro as well. Concessions are cheaper but are just as good as the big guys. The only negative thing I can say about the concessions is regarding their refillable popcorn buckets. They put a sticker on the side of the bucket saying that it's refillable, it the sticker isn't remotely waterproof. Not even water resistant. So when you clean out the bucket, it starts to disintegrate in the sink. The screens aren't the fancy DLP screens that the big guys have. So if you are seeing some crazy visually intense movie, you won't see that amazing picture that the big theaters have. Honestly, I'm cool with that though. I'd rather save a few bucks and not have to deal with crowds. The last thing that's kinda inconvenient is that you can't get tickets to that theater on Fandango and sites like this. At the same time, this also keeps prices down, so it's not a big deal to me. Anyway, I'd give it 4.5 if I could. Love this place. read more

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's not bad at all. The kids working were very sweet and engaging, prices were reasonable. We went to see hotel Transylvania 3. The seats were older and not too comfy but it's not like bust your back kind of uncomfortable, just have to acclimate to it. read more

I went to see The Lion King and they have different pricing depending on the time of day. The show started at 4:30pm so my ticket was only $6! Already a huge plus! I walk in and go to get a drink and popcorn and they have a ton of specials and are much lower priced compared to Regal and AMC. They have a $5 combo that comes with popcorn, candy and a drink. Fountain drinks start at $4 for a small and $5 for frozen. My only complaint was that I got a fruit punch and it was very watered down. Other than that it was a dream. Oh, and they also do showings of older favorite movies for $5 and that includes popcorn and a drink. This was such a pleasant experience. read more

Sure this theater may not have the glitz or glamour of the Hollywood 27 or Opry Mills 20 up in Nashville, but if you're looking for a cheap trip to the movies, then this is definitely the place to go. This is the go to movie theater in my household! We live right outside of Woodbury, so not only is it the closest theater, it is also the most AFFORDABLE. The location is great, is it right near many great restaurants, and they have great twilight hour prices. The screens are of fair quality. The two things I can say I'm not of a fan of are: 1) My four year old has a hard time keeping the seat down while she is in it. It folds in on her like an accordion! 2) if for whatever reason during the movie you need to get up and walk out of the theater room(s), there is absolutely NO light to assist you down the aisle(s). But all in all, this is where we go for movie night, and I would highly recommend it over the other theaters in the area, especially if you are looking for a budget friendly movie. read more

My family enjoys the Premiere. It might not have the latest and greatest as far as décor; but the prices are fantastic compared to the huge chain theatres. The concessions are very affordable-so you don't feel like you have been robbed after purchasing popcorn and drink. The restrooms are always clean and well stocked. The management is present and on the floor greeting guest. The young employees are very friendly and helpful. It's very easy to get in and out of the theatre-plus the parking is easily accessible. It's a small theatre and very quaint. If you are interested in seeing a movie with concessions at a fair price-this is the theater for you. read more

The Premier 6 is a welcome alternative to the hustle and bustle near the theater on Cason Lane. This theater is family-owned and operated and has been around forever. In April 2009, it was damaged by the Good Friday tornado. It has since re-opened with renovations. read more

I like this place, yeah it's old and a bit run down, but the young enployees are always friendly and helpful. Also, the owner keeps the prices down and has popcorn and drink specials Monday -Wed, even though everyday the prices are good (especially compared to the super cinema across town that charges outrageous fees for everything). Used to really like the convenience and lack of crowds. Today however was the second time I have gone to see a schedules show that the projector was broken and they cancelled the showing. My wife had surgery a couple of weeks ago and this was to be her first outing. There was no "Catching Fire" happening. Will likely have to start going elsewhere. read more

This is my favorite movie theater to attend while in Murfreesboro. The admission prices are very reasonable especially if you're 55 and older where you only pay $6.00 for any movie, the concessions are very reasonable and the staff is extremely courteous and friendly. Every time I go to the theater I am greeted with a smile and welcomed to the theater by everyone there. The two men (Sam & Larry) who manage the theater are usually always around to greet you and help in anyway they are so friendly. read more

Why does anyone still come here? I went to MTSU in 07-08 and I remember this place used to be nicer. Now it looks worse than a high school theater. I think the best part was the popcorn was decent and the movie was great (Wonder Woman) but the theater was outdated and my seat broke. read more

It has a quaint neighborhood vibe, and it is family owned. no it isn't posh and the floors are old, but that is the nostalgia. great prices for movies and popcorn.
