Went to see Revolutionary American today. Theater was fairly full. After a couple of tries to get the movie to start, an attendant came in and said that the showing was canceled. We could get our ticket price refunded. Of course, I'd already paid over $18 for a small popcorn and soft drink also. I then waited in line for about 30 min only to find out that a refund couldn't be given if the ticket was purchased with Apple Pay. I could get either a gift card (for another AMC movie) or a free pass. Don't plan on ever going back. read more

"After waiting 25 minutes for the movie to start, an attendant came in and announced the movie had been cancelled. The theater was packed full and being about the American Revolution, the people sensed this was a political stunt. Why? Because after dismissing us, that SAME AUDITORIUM had another movie or previews being shown. THAT WAS A SLAP IN ALL OUR FACES. The theater, although apologetic, offered refunds...IN THE FORM OF FREE PASSES. Most demanded either their money back or credited back to their cards. Since the movie was a limited time of 3 days and that it had to be purchased online, everyone lost the 6 dollar fee. That is THEFT! A movie didnt play and we never had services rendered for what we paid for. To take that fee plus offering free passes to a movie of lesser value IS AN OUTRAGE!! I filmed the entire event and announcement. As it stands now, I have to wait 45 days for the refund to be charged then refunded! 45 days...but you made your 6 dollar fee theft. My aim is to post this event on you tube and NEVER use fandango fathom for anything again. I plan to push this video to as many as will watch it. WHAT AN INSULT!!!!! I also plan to alert Hillsdale college that produced this movie we never were allowed to see, to STAY AWAY from any further ticket purchases from FATHOM via Fundango! I HAVE THE VIDEO TO SHOW THEM AND WILL of this outrageous and offensive event. I also plan to call local radio stations that are conservative and tell them that Fathom via Fundango are stopping the showing of the movie for political reasons. You lost MANY people because of this stunt. I will never go back to the AMC theater in Murfreesboro Tennessee on Cason Lane. NEVER. I will also NEVER USE YOU as you stole 6 for a fee for a movie I never saw and was not allowed to see...services were not rendered. They're getting 3 starts because service was good. I wish I had pictures. It can only be described as a scene out of a movie. No pun intended. You can buy the tickets online but no assigned sitting. First come first serve type of thing. The price was significantly cheaper than others but the it was the only showing that fit all four schedules. The concessions man was super sweet and attentive. No other soul insight other than us four. In all fairness, this theater is older than most of the homes around. I didn't even know it was still a working theater. Got to the theater.... Just us. Nice right? Well negative, after 30mins of previews no movie played. Waited 10mins and nothing. Got help just be told they couldn't play the movie due to projector issues. We were offered re-entry tickets to attend another showing. And off we went. The end. lol read more

RACISTTTTT GM! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. I was racially profiled on 1/1/2026 and forced to leave the theatre for something that never happened. I came with a friend to see Avatar, and 2 hours into the movie The "GM" "Megan" stood in the the theater for 10-20 minutes staring/observing myself, my friend, and the 4 other patrons. She then comes directly to my friend and I, (not trying to make it about race but we were the only 2 black people there) and asks us to leave the theater for smoking. Mind you we literally genuinely weren't smoking nor did we have any smoking devices. To be completely honest I was in and out of sleep the whole movie, plus there was no smoke in the theater whatsoever. Again, mind you she comes to us with 2 ARMED GUARDS, asks us to leave because we were "smoking", which never took place, and gave no refund. "Megan" even went so far as to threaten calling the police. I've never felt so racially profiled and in fear of my life EVER! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! read more

I went with my family to see the movie Fire Inside. The movie and staff were amazing. We easily got to the theater and got our seats and food. The theater on the other hand was terrible. Theater 1 was as cold the weather outside. It was hard to focus on the movie because of how freezing our hands and toes were. Compared to the other theaters I've been to in this facility, this was by far the worst climate controlled part of the building. read more

This is a terrible theater, quality and service are the worst I've seen in any theater I've been to, especially tonight. Me and my friend were seeing a single showing for a movie from Japan, preordered our tickets and everything! We had no one at the door to check our tickets, no guidance to the theatre rooms, the staff couldn't even be bothered and looked bored at their posts (even hiding to Talk to one another)- and we sat through a whole 40 minutes of trailers for our movie to be played in the wrong theater which was not on our tickets at ALL. by the time we had asked the front desk, the movie we came to see was halfway over! And despite getting our tickets refunded, the staff looked like they didn't care-it just left a very sour taste in my mouth about the whole experience. A once in a lifetime opportunity to see this movie, wasted on no communication, no sympathy from any of the staff, no cleaning in the theatre at all- just had a terrible time :( read more

By far the worst place to ever go! My keys were stolen by someone in the theater, me thinking I may have just locked my keys in the car i called a locksmith to come open my doors all to find out the key was not in the car. Me and my Fiancé went in to search for it and was treated like an absolute dog, we were there for 6 hours and 4 of those hours where looking for a key. You want to know just how nasty it is the next time your there get on your hands and knees and look under your seats you will find old food that's growing mold and candy that's molding as well as liquor bottles. They even went as far as locking us out and telling us they looked all over the theater for the key and it wasn't there. Well without the key the car isn't moving. So it had to be there. And if someone didn't pick it up why did we never find the key fob if it's as simple as it just falling out of a pocket? Now i'm gonna be charged $600 plus all to have the car towed from there to my house then replacing the key. read more

This is the old Carmike Cinemas on Cason Lane that was recently bought out by AMC. I have come to this location for years and enjoyed it. It's a great place to see a movie: comfy chair, great sound quality, etc. AMC hasn't really made any improvements to this location, it looks and feels the same except for the Marquee outside. That's fine and dandy, but I figured that once they bought it, they would make some upgrades to the place. This is still a good place to watch a show and not pay $15 a ticket read more

We took our 6 year old son to see Moana 2. When we got our prepaid concessions the theatre had only 2 selections in the drink fountain available. Refused to give me a refund for the drinks. When I accidentally dropped the kids popcorn and asked if they could help me out and refill it I was accused of doing it on purpose. I understand if it's against to rules but a simple no without being rude would have been sufficient. Then I decided to cancel our tickets for the next day to see red one due to the poor service, and by poor I mean non existent. The refund was less than I paid. AMC kept the online fees. It will be a cold day in he'll before I return to an AMC and I will let every person I talk to for the next month know just how awful AMC has become. read more

Horrible theater run by morons. We came to theater. There was probably 100 people in line. They only had 2 people working, and they didn't know whether they could show movies or not. They refused to give refunds to customers who had tickets saying they were unsure what management would allow. read more

Went to see Moana 2 for a friends birthday and there was NO-ANA! We started watching the previews for the movie, enjoying the upcoming movies and the drinks popcorn and snacks we bought before. But then the lights raised and some poor quality, low-bmp music starting playing. We waited for a moment, uneasy at the possibility of complications. We left the theatre and told the staff who were apathetic but seemed to tell another staff member who tried to fix the issue. The hope of a second chance was quickly squashed as we started to rewatch previews that froze. With every trial, we dreaded the reality that there would be NO-ANA. 45 minutes AFTER the start time, the staff came to let us know the film wasn't playing and that they would be giving refunds. Once we walked to the front, they told us we needed our paper ticket stub to get a refund. Not everyone had their ticket stub and the staff seemed annoyed by OUR unconvinced. They didn't refund the service fee from buying the ticket online, and they were rude during every interaction with the staff. We left feeling sick, used, and unsatisfied. We felt like we were scammed out of money for the concessions we bought, and the time wasted. This would have been easily remedied if it felt like the staff cared or felt for our time and money spent. This put a huge damper on our birthday celebration as we are all desperately curious as to what happens in Moana 2. The first one was so good, but maybe that's because we didn't watch it at an AMC theatre. read more

This location not the best comfy seats like the brand new theaters. But it will do when you pay $6 for matinee time. They play all the new movies just like any other theater close by. Popcorns and drinks outrageous priced. But sometimes it just makes the experience better with it. Seats are a bit older and could used some cleaning but Like I said overall for the matinee time not bad. read more

There is not a separate line for A list members. The line is combined with the general concession line. The volume in the theatre is so loud that everyone is looking around covering their ears like what is even going on. I seriously contemplated leaving. This is a HORRIBLE idea. we have been waiting for 10+ minutes and don't want food....just tickets...... Just asked if there was a line for just tickets and not food "No sir." Haven't been to this location for a while and they have since come under the ownership of AMC. I was hoping that there might have been some updates to the facility, but it seems conditions are even worse than before. We didn't experience long lines, but there were about 5 employees milling around behind the concession stand with only one register open. There was only one party ahead of us, yet it easily took a good 8 to 10 minutes just to reach the counter. I think the young lady serving us may have been new since she was having trouble remembering their specials and gave us the wrong directions to our theater. Not a big deal as we found it easily. We were a bit early and made our way into the theater (7) as the final credits were rolling. It was fairly empty, so we found some seats and waited. Once the lights came up, I noticed a big pile of trash in our row that someone had left, obviously too lazy to drop it into the receptacle that you have to walk right past when exiting the theater. After a few minutes, an employee came in to clean the theater, and I watched him clean about two rows, look at the pile of trash and then exit the other side of the theater, never to return. While the lights were up, my wife and I also noticed a HUGE stain on the wall, much in the style of a Pollock piece, but apparently using a large beverage as the medium and the wall as the canvas. If they leave that kind of mess in broad daylight for folks to see, how well do you think the areas you can't see are cleaned and maintained? During the film, I needed to use the restroom and found it an appalling mess. The counter was covered in water as well as shredded and crumpled paper towels. The floors were dirty and the entire restroom reeked of urine. It was so strong, I'm shocked that the smell didn't get into my clothes. Needless to say, I'm glad I'm up to date on all my vaccinations as this place was sure to be a health hazard. The theater was not busy at all so there should have been no reason for the restrooms to be that nasty, and from the heavy stench, had been that way for quite some time. Even though this theater is just 5 minutes from home, I'm thinking it might be worth it next time to drive a few minutes down the road to Smyrna and hit the Roxy instead. read more

We went to see a movie today and after went to the restroom like most people do. As we are walking out there are 4 employees sitting in the floor waiting to clean the smallest room in the theatre. As I go into the restroom there are 5 stalls. 3 of them have feces and toilet paper in them. Enough to make them overflow. The other 2 stalls do not have locks on them. It was extremely disgusting. So I emailed the movie theatre. I did get a response very quickly but I felt they were not concerned at all that the bathrooms were disgusting. Also they did not address the lock situation. At this point we will gladly drive to a theatre in another town just to avoid the disaster. read more

Our experience at this theatre wasn't very good. The theatre was extremely hot and our popcorn was stale. I talked to two different employees about the temperature of the theatre and they said it was being taken care of. The theatre didn't get to a comfortable temperature until about half way through the movie. I contacted a manager and she said she would send out tickets for the issue and never received them. I emailed her again and haven't gotten a response back for a couple weeks. I am just going to let the issue go. Update: The movie theater is no longer Carmike, so bye bye to all the great offers. :( I don't have an issue with hiring teenagers, but there's so many teenagers! It's so chaotic when you go in there now. There's multiple security guards that are really not doing much. I am quite sad that they have changed the movie theater. One good thing is that you can buy tickets at consessions! 5 stars for offers! This movie theater has the best offers I have ever seen. If you plan your time right, you could easily catch the hottest movie for around $5. They also have really good deals around food and drinks on certain days, and they always have their popcorn bucket! 4 stars for ticket buying convenience. You can purchase fandango tickets, but there are no kiosks so that you can skip the line. However, there is only a long enough line to talk about 50% of the time. The movie theater is overall clean and I've never had any problems getting in and out. The seats are also movie theater comfy. Sign up for the rewards program. No need to carry the card, they can look you up by your number. (You do have to go online and register the card first.) read more

Carmike Wynnsong 16 is the best cinema in Murfreesboro. They have ample theaters with comfortable and modern seating. The best thing about the Carmike is that every day they have great specials. If you purchase a ticket to see a movie between the hours of 4 and 5 pm any day of the week, you get the ticket for $5. Even for the latest releases! Recommendation: If you're going to see a movie that is not rated R on a Friday or Saturday night, go to the 9:00 showing. You'll dodge the teenage masses. I mean masses. Seriously. read more

Any issue that comes up including Fandango Issues or lost phones, this place goes out of the way to make sure you are taken care of before you leave. Theaters are missing out on the incredible opportunity to make these visits a great experience. This one is no different. They are part of the movie distribution system and so we will continue to come for only the reasons that we can't see a movie elsewhere and the large format is often desirable to the in home movie experience (only barely). As soon as movies are directly released to Netflix or iTunes, we likely won't come anymore. As a result, my lip always curls a bit when I come b/c I have no choice and there's nothing else here to distract me or delight me to take my mind off the fact that I'm here b/c the theater part of the movie distribution system is an insufferable anachronism that needs to die. This theater is biding its time and appears to have zero interest in engaging me in any other way other than the traditional way, with overpriced drinks and crappy food. Low/no attention to customer service with part time kids manning the messy snack and ticket stations. The traffic flow is terrible. Why push everyone outside to get their tickets? Bathrooms are limited, cramped, unclean with skeezy vending machines in them. The arcade is amateurish. The food is worse than bad. The screening rooms are deep and the screens are small so the net effect is an even smaller screen. The chairs ate uncomfortable. The floors are always sticky. The old carpets are stinky. It sounds like I am describing an illegal underground carnival with shady characters. It's not. But it's obviously the behavior of someone with a lock on the market and not killing themselves for their customers. There is nothing even remotely charming about this theater that would give me a second's pause to abandon them when the world changes finally to deliver movies directly. read more
