Getting ready to see Endgame with Micah
    Mike V.

This is the old Carmike Cinemas on Cason Lane that was recently bought out by AMC. I have come to this location for years and enjoyed it. It's a great place to see a movie: comfy chair, great sound quality, etc. AMC hasn't really made any improvements to this location, it looks and feels the same except for the Marquee outside. That's fine and dandy, but I figured that once they bought it, they would make some upgrades to the place. This is still a good place to watch a show and not pay $15 a ticket

MOLD ON THE SEAT ARM REST!!!!! Yuck! They need to clean this theatre!! It cost us $75 to come here. 2 tickets @ $10/ea + $48 in snacks! You think they'd use $2 bleach or disinfectant!!

Kason's customer service skills were awesome! Best service we have ever had at AMC! Theater was clean. Popcorn and drinks were great.

The staff were attentive throughout the meal, and the food was the definition of comfort food. I ordered the Veggie Mandu, Jjajang Myun, and Tangsuyuk, and every dish was excellent with generous portion sizes. The Veggie Mandu had an incredibly crispy exterior with a rich, savory umami flavor. I've had Jjajang Myun at several other restaurants, and while this version wasn't my favorite, it was still solid and enjoyable. The Tangsuyuk was the standout--it was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender inside, and the sauce struck a great balance of sweetness without being overpowering, making it easy to keep reaching for another bite. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back to try the desserts.

It's a comfy place, plenty of of space, plenty of parking. But you will return, again and again, for the quality Korean-centric food. Really impressed with the dumplings apps, crispy and tasty. The Korean cheese corn is solid. The complimentary sides are great--liked the kimchi, the potato salad and the radishes. So good, and fun. The chicken katsu is the best in town, with a perfect salad accompaniment. Really impressed with the zesty kkanpung chicken. You will want to lick the sauce from the bowl but please restrain yourself. Was there for an early lunch so trying the bar needs to come later but there is a separate bar section, if you care for just apps and cocktails. Servings are generous. More enough to share. Considering the quality and quantity, prices are fair.

Always meant to go here, but never followed through until last night when my bestie Kim invited me…read moreto hear a Journey tribute by the band Resurrection. I'd never heard of them, but... Journey, right? I'm a metalhead primarily, but enjoy quite a few other types. Not a huge fan of country unless it's funny, but that's another story. I checked out the hours on Yelp, naturally, because where else, and noticed there hadn't been a review since around 2015. I'm about to rectify that... It's only getting 4 stars due to parking. It's not marked and you guess that all the cars directly across the street are PROBABLY where you should go... and once you get inside, and sign tells you that it IS correct. Confusing. Would you be towed? I have a handicap tag and I parked in front of the building to the right of them next to two very large pickup trucks. Wasn't towed, no ticket. Thank God. Fluke? Lucky? Don't know... When we went up the weird little steps... not exactly handicap accessible... it's a fairly dark crowded place with a wide aisle separating tables from the check-in area, a small serving area, the long bar, more tables the stage, and access to the upstairs seating area. The lady that checked us in verified Kim's name in a book even though she ordered her tickets through some app... didn't even need to scan the QR code! We were given our little bracelets and went to find a table... hopefully... as it fills up FAST there! However, as soon as we got the bracelet on, we were headed past two young ladies who gave us FREE PASSES TO NEXT WEEK'S GUNS 'N ROSES TRIBUTE! Yep! Have bracelets to get into that for free, thanks to Jadan Geren and Rachel Dame. Thanks, dolls! We will try to make it! Thankfully, a sweet married couple by the names of Shannon and Brandon had a couple of free chairs at their table, so we had a place to sit, and it was close to both bar and stage. A pole was kind of in the way, but... sitting. Table. Nice couple. Thankful. The prices aren't too bad. Bottled beer was $4.50, mixed drinks I'm not sure of as I was the designated driver. Bottled water $1... fries $2.50, onion rings $2.99. Combos like burgers and fries $8... grilled cheese and fries I think was $7 or $7.50... they have things like fried pickles or cheese sticks for about $8... sorry I couldn't get a pic of the paper sheet that was a menu... ours was wrinkled, and they're a dark wine color... The opening act, which wasn't advertised, wasn't bad if you like a predominantly country, raspy voiced acoustic guitar kinda guy. His name was "Bobby". Just... Bobby. Was told he played in Nashville 6 days a week. I can see it. He's pretty good. Just not what anyone wanted to hear for a couple of hours while waiting for a Journey tribute... and I heard people complaining left and right. And yawning. Yep. Yawning. It was the fact raspy voices don't have much range, and after about an hour he was beyond monotonous... Once Resurrection came on stage? It got hopping!!! The bar had pretty much run out of food during Boring Bobby, so people need to eat EARLY. The acoustics are pretty good, the bass beat even vibrates the floor! The employees are ALL really nice. Customers/venue goers (whatever you want to call the people that bought tickets) are pretty nice, but have no compunction whatsoever of blocking your view. None. The open floor in front of the stage isn't that big and they will cram themselves on it or block the aisle leading to it, making it hard to get to your table if it's close to the stage and you went to the bar or the restrooms located to the right of the bar. Oh well. Concert. Happy rocking people. Deal with it, right? I'll update if Kim and I make it to the GNR tribute...

It's a good sized club and they play a lot of good music. I've heard everything from funk to edm to hip hop. They bring in many great local artists to showcase their skills all the time. For starters, the location is down an alley way, hidden off the main area of the Square in the Boro. To get to the speakeasy, you have to find the door, use the phone, and answer a riddle to speak the 'password' to get in. Neat concept and adds to the fun of the overall experience. The cons: - A cover charge - and a healthy one, at that. - Every cocktail, small plate/appetizer, dish, dessert, etc. is on the very high end of price points, and that's even for a Nashville spot - not even considering this as a niche location in the burbs. - For the prices, exceptionally small portions/servings of the food options. We left paying over $150 for our evening and both my wife and I were still hungry... The pros: - Service was fantastic. Extremely friendly from the owner to the bartenders to the servers. No complaints there at all. - My wife took me for my 40th birthday, and they helped significantly make it a special celebration while we were there. A special dessert with "4-0" candles, a rousing musician-led, crowd-involved rendition of "happy birthday" was sung in my honor, and overall just a very enjoyable experience. - Atmosphere was fun and inviting without being too much/stuffy. - The interior of the speakeasy is opulent, small, and cozy, featuring enough room for probably no more than 20-25 people total. - The drinks were very, very good. Overpriced, sure - but at least they were well made and tasty. - The food was absolutely fantastic. Great flavors and seemingly fresh, quality ingredients - well prepared. Overall, a very neat, fun, well thought out experience and something to say we've done - BUT unfortunately with the cover charge, pricing of the individual drinks, food items, etc., it prices us out of frequent enjoyment. We would go with a small group for kicks, but will likely not return otherwise, which is a shame.

One of the other workers was talking about giving her brother and his 16 year old friends alcohol and they cheered her on. It was just weird all around. The place could use a heavy cleaning instead of bunch of lazy 22 y/o. No beef with the owner, I just think he should weigh more heavily on the ability to do the job rather than tight clothes and shitty attitudes with no patron awareness. This place needs bar rescue.
