My love for gyros is STRONG, let me tell you. this local Lyons spot was super clean, the owner was very nice and had really quick service. The food was really good! I recommend getting the jalapeño ranch and tabouli salad on the side. There are many different options to choose from at the spot, but the gyro wrap is definitely worth getting! I visited because of the high ratings I saw on another review website. Upon entry, I almost walked out. The food didn't look appetizing (no fresh onions, tomatoes, cucumber salad, etc.) the rice didn't even look warm. I decided to order anyway, since I drove there. I was greeted by one person who eventually came from the back. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier, so we couldn't understand one another, which made ordering difficult. I essentially spent $15 and the entire plate went into the trash when I got home. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I love restaurant/take out places like this, locally owned, extremely clean, fresh good tasting food, friendly service and reasonably priced. My wife and I went there after 2pm lunch rush and we were greeted from whom I believe was the owner. He was super friendly and made your food fresh as ordered. One thing I noticed was the owner posted his County Food Inspection Score which you don't see too much of anymore and it was a 100, terrific and well deserved because the place is really clean. We each had the Greek salad with chicken. The ingredients were super fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The cucumber dressing was awesome. We also had a side of the lamb and that's what we're getting next time. The chicken was good but the lamb was amazing. I would highly recommend Gyro Club for an amazing fresh lunch or dinner. We're going back this week and may make it a weekly stop for our lunch breaks. read more

Love this place! I went there yesterday (for the first time) to pick up lunch for my boyfriend and I. As soon as I walked in the man working behind the counter greeted me. He was the only employee there that I could see. I think his name as Elan? He was the owner. He recommended a delicious dish for me and my boyfriend. He prepared the food fresh! It was quick and so so good! I had the chicken and rice with onions and peppers. I got my boyfriend the chicken and shrimp with rice. We were both blown away. Nicely seasoned with the exception of salt, but that's okay because I normally like to add my own salt. I also got the mango tea. Elan mentioned they make that fresh every morning. It was delicious!
