The lobby is incredibly inviting--I even noticed someone relaxing at a table, coloring, which perfectly captured the laid-back, community feel of the space. Having a bar in the lobby was a nice touch too, making it easy to grab a drink before the movie. The theater has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying classic and independent films on the big screen. Seeing "Do the Right Thing" in a theater setting reminded me of the genius Spike Lee is!! I'll definitely be back for more screenings.

I love the roomy seats and the no frills online ticket sales. There's so much to do here besides viewing the movies. You can play games, both board games and computer games, you can sip on cocktails and chat, or enjoy the themed nights offered throughout the year. I love this place so much that I may become a member! I encourage the city to please support this independent cinema. It's a nice space that we want to keep around for a very long time.

I don't usually do movie theater food because it can be pricy but this day was considered treat day. Not sure what my original order was but the young lady encouraged me to go with a combo for the popcorn corn and icee. Also, I saw a bar area, nice. The seat was comfortable but now that I know the layout of the theater, I will choose different next time. Oh and the restroom was clean, always a plus. Premiere will now be in rotation.

I visited earlier this year to watch Tuscaloosa County High put on a production of Beauty and the Beast. The inside looks like you're sitting outside the doors of a beautiful castle, faux brick lining the walls, balconies, and the ceiling painted like the sky. The little lights embedded in the ceiling come on when the lights go off so it looks like your gazing at the stars. The seats are by no means five star but they aren't intolerable either. They have a concessions area with typical theater prices. The biggest negative is the parking. It can be a real stinker and you may have quite a walk.

Unfortunately, the movie we chose decided not to play as we were all waiting to watch. The manager came in an explained that there was a problem and compensated us with tickets for another movie or to come back on another day. I found this to be great business. The earlier showtime was perfect... no big crowds, no long lines, and plenty of good seat options without feeling rushed. Parking was easy, and getting in and out of the theater was smooth. The lobby and auditoriums were clean, and the seats were comfortable enough to fully settle in and enjoy the movie. If you're looking for a chill, low-key movie experience, I definitely recommend hitting a Sunday matinee here. It's a great way to enjoy a film without the usual weekend chaos. It is a beautiful and elegant venue that has been renovated over the years but kept its identity to its original state. I've attended several events here over the years, from concerts, to movies to guest speakers. My high school graduation was held here back in 1997. There are usually snacks such as popcorn available for purchase and beverages. I don't remember other food being available. The staff is always pleasant and ready to assist. Pro Tip: The seating on the lower level is much more comfy than upstairs, especially if you are hippy or curvy or just want more room. Buy your tickets keeping this in mind.

The seats are short, low and small. They also do not have an elevator. Be prepared to climb many stairs if you don't purchase floor seats. They seemed to have improved the sound system, which really made the musical experience better. I thoroughly enjoyed Orchestra Noir and can't wait to see them again next year. I will definitely go back.
