They've lied to me and cheated me out of my hard earned money…read more I ordered 500 sq. ft of Bruce, high gloss finish, hardwood flooring from these people March 31, 2015, to tie in with my existing floor. I first spoke with the owner, Andrew who told me he'd meet or beat Lowe's prices (1st lie) then he turned me over to his salesperson, Debra. She quoted me $3.29 sq. ft. for a satin finish, $4.65 for high gloss. I ordered high gloss, which is what I already have in my home. After the flooring was half installed, I could see the finish was satin. I called Above Board Flooring immediately, told them I didn't expect the hardwood to be torn up and replaced but I did expect to be given the $1.26 difference in price they up charged me for high gloss. They refuse to take repsonsibility, putting all the blame on Debra, who convienently doesn't work for them any more! I sat with Debra, in her office when she called Bruce directly on March 30, and inquired about the high gloss finish, and they assured her they could do it. I have my original receipt showing that 9 years previously I had ordered high gloss finish, Bruce flooring and now Above Board Flooring is trying to tell me Bruce never made a high gloss. They are refusing to give me the $1.26 per sq. ft I was upcharged for the high gloss finish and offered me only .40 cents per sq. ft. I've been told over the phone by both Andrew (owner) and Netta (receptionist in their Pineville location) 3 different times that Mark Bishop, the salesperson who took over for Debra, would be contacting me. That hasn't happned and I've received no refund. My installation was in mid June. I think they're taking advantage of this senior citizen.

I am sure lots of peeps pitched in the background but major shoutout to Meaghan for steering projects and appointments and Devin for design suggestions and technical follow through. Earlier this year we stood a luxury lake front home where they played a key role on several planned, unplanned and a la carte items. Some well prepared and some emergency. The services ranged from fixing electrical outlets and adding capacity to Installing an outdoor Tesla Charger, ring doorbells, hot tub hookup, sauna hookup and even some awesome party string lights (Devin suggested and designed himself).
