The issue; after 2 months, the washer stopped working. I contacted Queen City and I was advised to contact GE. Which is insulting when you think about it. $2500 in laundry equipment and you cannot do better than that? So, I did them one better. I used my Home appliance warranty to fix the machine for me. Since, every appliance in my home is covered; TV (7), robot mower (4), 3 fridges, AC, garage door openers, even my swimming pool and its parts are covered. So, I contacted my bank and had 50% of the sale price returned. You would think, Queen City would want to make this right after I took my money back and kept their equipment. ‍ I was completely honest about why I wouldn't shop there again. It's not about the product you sell. It's about your standing behind what you sell. If you sell me a defunct product, I expect you to make it right. I expect you to contact GE to make it right. But, since it's now free, I really shouldn't complain.

The purchase process could have been smoother but I'm very forgiving here. Six feet of "social distancing" doesn't work well when you have a bunch of folks who want something that's in short supply. They did as well as they could under the circumstances and everyone who was there at the store when it opened got their purchase, though maybe not in the order they had originally queued up. That's a minor ding. And speaking of minor ding, this is "scratch and dent." My chest freezer was clearly used but it's operational, guaranteed for 90 days and I'm sure some "goo gone" will get rid of the marks on it. The folks did not want to be dealing with the public today. Definitely not a bunch of people who were about a minute away from an actual riot. But they did pretty well keeping things as organized as they could and selling what people wanted to buy They loaded it into my vehicle for me, which was awesome service. We started at Lowe's but decided to shop around for a few more options because my mom wasn't seeing anything we liked. We were looking for a dryer with a steam cycle and large capacity for bedding. We went to Queen City since my dad bought a tv from them previously. They were friendly and helpful and some different options on their floor compared to Lowe's. They knew more about the machines on their floor - we got the "look it up online" answer from the Lowe's employees which is true and easy enough but not quite as helpful as them just knowing the answers. We found a beautiful black dryer with all the features my mom wanted and because it was labor day they had a great sale on washer/dryer pairs. Then we spoke with Gregg and he gave us an even better deal than the labor day price, knocking the pair down another $300 (the price ended up at 650 each!) compared to $730 each online for the same washer and dryer. We did their 18 months no interest plan and they're going to deliver them on labor day. My mom was super happy she got a great deal and I was super happy that they were so helpful. Positive experience for us and we'll be recommending them to friends and family.

The reason that I gave three stars was because the delivery installation was a nightmare. So I ordered a dishwasher an oven a cooktop, a microwave, a trash, compactor, refrigerator, and a washer and dryer. They got delivered and I paid extra for installation for everything They left and the dishwasher had exposed wires at the bottom and would not work. The wall oven is dented around the frame, and the dryer was not working at all either and on the washing machine the hot and cold lines were mixed meaning when I set it for cold for the temperature of the water, it was piping hot and it shrunk some of my clothes. I called to have them come fix those things that weren't working properly or installed properly and they did come back out, but it was a little bit of an issue to get them here. The wall oven is still dented now I have to have GE come out and replace that because they need a whole new replacement for that. The dryer still was not hooked up properly after the second time and again they said it was an issue with the Maytag appliance so I had to wait while they got me a whole new dryer and installed that so three weeks after the initial delivery I finally got a dryer.

However, it had a different tag on the back that said 11.99. The dvd only goes for 8 dollars on eBay so I was a bit confused, especially considering it was a used box set and the dvds had scratches on them. I went to the front to see if they could mark it down and they said that they couldn't and that the old tag didn't matter. Before leaving I saw the associate I was speaking to rip off the old tag before putting it back on the shelf. This store is a scam, support local used media shops.
