Hired KS to install DTV in our town house, a somewhat tricky install given the location and requirements. Ed and his team did a great job of not only on the install but on working with DTV/AT&T to get us a nice deal . Its not easy working with DTV these days. The install team of Ryan and Daniel did a great job the first time. Arrived on time, explained the set up and made sure everything worked. I recently moved into the LKN area. Found this AV company online. Very nice, knowledgable, people. I'm particular about every install and voiced my concerns early on with Tony. We remodeled and I didn't want a crew destroying two months of new walls, plaster, paint etc. In a about a 8 hours they were finished with the three large screen, Sonos SB install and heading to another job. I hired KS for a multi-room AV project at my house that had to be performed in multiple phases. My experience with KS on this project was nothing short of stellar in all aspects from the initial site visit and proposal through installation, walk through and post-sale support. Ed, the KS System Designer assigned to my project was fantastic to work with both in terms of designing the optimal configuration and layout for my budget as well as addressing ALL of my questions (and there were dozens) via email, text messages, phone calls, etc. Ed was always responsive even answering questions during off hours, which he certainly did not have to do. His expertise and guidance throughout the entire project was invaluable to me. Chris S., the KS Field Tech who was the lead on the installation and setup was just as excellent to work with as well. Chris S., Chris B. and Ryan were able to overcome whatever challenges the infrastructure of my house may have presented in order to provide an aesthetically appealing and flawless installation. Chris also spent as much time as I needed after the install was complete to make sure that I was comfortable with operating the equipment and the various features. KS installed a distributed tv system across 8 tvs using 6 inputs via Control4. We finally have an intuitive system that works seamlessly and without constant issues (that we had with our previous system). They also installed a speaker system in our pool area with landscape and hanging speakers. We have had problems for years trying to get a speaker system there to work, and this install finally achieved it. The majority of their work was done while we were out of town and they let themselves in and out, communicating with us when they left every day so we could remotely set our alarm. They kept in touch with any questions or clarifications. They were respectful of our home and kept it clean. We had a couple bugs that Tony addressed very quickly. We had a party coming up and Tony gave me his cell phone and told me to contact him over the weekend with any issues (of which we had none). KS Audio Video completely exceeded our expectations in every way. We needed a new lamp for a projector and luckily a neighbor suggested that we give KS Audio Video a call. They responded promptly to my call. I sent some pictures and information to Ed via email so we could be sure they knew what type of system we had and that they had the right equipment to do the job. They got us scheduled for the next day (due to a cancellation) which was awesome! Daniel arrived on time and swapped out the projector lamp in no time. He then did a full diagnostic on the system and fixed issues with how Geek Squad had set it up (they left it on low def even though the system was high def capable). Daniel wanted to make sure we were getting the highest quality picture possible. He even went the extra mile and fixed a light that was having a problem with the mount to make sure that our home theater was in tip top shape. Aside from working quick and clean, Daniel was extremely friendly and helpful, and the price was more than fair for the job done. Best AV experience I have ever had. Sales/design on the front end was excellent. Listened to me and crafted a design that did what I wanted and within my budget. Installation team was excellent also. Polite, respectful and diligent. Offered workable on site solutions for tech issues that arose during installations and some of these even saved me money. Definitely would not recommend this business, save your money and go elsewhere. Was told I needed things per building code only to find out that was not true after talking with my builder. Wiring was incorrectly labeled and wiring panel not secured to the chassis. Discussed with the owner, Ken, and he listened only to make excuses for the poor workmanship and tried to obtain sympathy by giving out personal health information about the salesman that provided the incorrect building code information. I was seeking a refund only for this misinformation which amounted to ~$60 and received nothing but chuckles and laughs from Ken as he tried to explain how his team was not at fault. Not a reputable company. read more
