Elegant Crane Services came to our rescue and did a great job, safely, smoothly and without incident lifting the refrigerator (600 lbs.) up three stories, to outside of our door. They were careful and considerate of the property avoiding carports, the roof overhang, trees and railings. In addition we were able to hire them to de-install the old refrigerator, remove it from our condo, crane it down to the first floor and haul it away. We had scheduled the job over two days and they completed it in one. It was well coordinated, they were personable, friendly and demonstrated expertise in securing, lifting and moving large and heavy items. Based on our experience we highly recommend their services. We were approached at our home by a man named Josh who claimed to be a business partner of a tree…read moreservice company. He was soliciting work Because we had two very large dead oak trees in our front yard. At first, Josh appeared, professional and knowledgeable, and he assured us that he could have a crew and equipment on site immediately. He pressured us to pay in full before any word began stating that he needed the money to secure rental equipment and pay his workers. Against our better judgment, and because he insisted this was the only acceptable form of payment for a job. This size we paid him $14,500 in cash. Within within an hour, the crew arrived and began cutting. Not even 30 minutes into the job a large branch was dropped, crushing our shed and damaging our well system. Immediately after causing the damage, the crew packed up and left the property without explanation and never returned. We attempted to contact Josh multiple times, but he refuses to answer or take responsibility. We filed a report with the sheriffs office, but were told it is considered a civil matter. At this point it feels like we are dealing with a clear case of fraud yet as the saying goes, you can't get blood from a stone.

I hired this company to trim a large viburnum hedge on my property in Venice. They did a terrible…read morejob. Half way through the job, the manager, James Hentman, told me he had to go for a while and do some estimates of other jobs. He asked me to pay him for the job. Like an idiot, I not only paid him in full, but paid him cash -- $750. I thought he would come back at the end of the job to make sure I was happy. Little did I know then that I would not see him again or hear from him again. As soon as the manager left the job site, the two guys who were doing the trimming started bad mouthing him, complaining about how hard they had to work. Bad attitudes. On top of that, they did a terrible job. They cut the hedge top very unevenly -- it looks like a roller coaster. I told them to let me know when they were leaving as I wanted to inspect it with them. They left without telling me. And they left a whole bunch of cut debris in the hedgerow and on the ground. Terrible clean up. The manager also drove his bucket truck on my front lawn to trim my palm trees. He ran over and broke a sprinkler head. Cost me $61 to get it fixed. I texted him to ask for reimbursement. No answer yet. In fact, I have sent him 10 separate texts asking that he come back and discuss this terrible job. He has not responded in five days now nor did he ever come back. He took the cash and ran. He couldn't care less about doing a good job or about customer satisfaction. Poor Quality! Poor Clean Up! Poor Attitude! Took the money and disappeared! They use "Experts" in their company name. Hah!! The only thing they are expert at is ripping people off. I am going to have to pay another company $250 to finish the job.
