Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a moving service. First and foremost, I clearly told the representative, who is also the owner, that we had 16-20 pallets that needed to be moved. He told me a 26-foot truck would be sufficient. I trusted that he knew what he was doing, but it wasn't even close. The truck couldn't accommodate everything, which meant multiple trips and additional costs... seemed like a money grab. When I questioned the situation, he was rude "what do want to do" and claimed that he had sent me an email with the truck size, based on my request. What he denied, was that I provided the weight and number of pallets, he actually called me a liar. To be clear we had discussed the number of pallets directly, weight and number of trips and I was given a specific recommendation based on that conversation and quote. To make matters worse, the truck arrived with boxes and other materials taking up valuable space that could have been used for our move. That only compounded the problem and ultimately contributed to us canceling the reservation. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. Mistakes happen, but what bothered me most was the lack of accountability and the way the situation was handled afterward. I'm willing to pay more for a professional moving company, but I shouldn't have to pay extra because of poor planning and then be told something happened that simply didn't. They helped me move my stuff from my parents home to my own apartment. The two men that helped me move was Joe and Calixto. Very nice professional men. They moved my furniture with no damages. They moved my white sofas and makeup vanity with no mess or damages. And they also put together my beds and everything else. My apartment was on the second floor so they did a very good job being very thorough with everything. The owner David was very nice and professional as well. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE THEIVES. ALL OF MY THINGS WERE DAMAGED, SHATTERED, BROKEN OR STOLEN. EVERYTHING WAS OVER WRAPPED SO MORE EXPENSIVE BOXES COULD BE USED. THEY WRAPPED PLASTIC STRAWS IN 3 SHEETS OF LARGE PAPER. RIDICULOUS STUFF. I instantly noticed things gone right away when I watched them unloading the truck. I knew it before hand. I called David because my gut was telling me things were going to be gone. I left a massage. He didn't reply. I instantly noticed $500 of preppers food gone. It was the last thing they were supposed to load into the truck. Well, when the truck was opened it wasn't there. I pointed out and told David his movers were thieves and careless. AFTER 3 MONTHS I was finally able to get my things and go through it all. All my glass furniture was broken, alot of things missing (cast iron pan set, coffee pot, rice cooker, nail polish, spices, cookware, bakeware, many other things) I unfortunately do not keep all of my receipts just in case I have a total unexpected move one day. Alot of the glass furniture was vintage. Everyday I go to use something of mine and it isn't even there. I notice new stuff gone all the time. My movers were the guy with the long hair sporting his Christian gold cross around his neck and the really short undocumented Mexican. read more

If you are looking for an honest company that honors their quote, this is NOT your guy. We live in Rocklin and needed an outside metal staircase moved to have it repaired and then moved back. The total quote for there and back was $495/each way. Well, the movers hit a water pipe and BROKE the water line. This was their mistake and they paid and it was fixed a few hours later. My husband talked to the owner and he decided the cost was now changing to NOW $995/to come back. He had previously quoted and said $495/each way (after viewing several pics from all angles of the staircase). I believe he wants us to PAY for their mistakes, from $495 to NOW $995???? Really?? What a shady business practice. Find an honest respectable business, someone who keeps their word, this is NOT ur guy! I will never use this moving company again. At 5 pm the day before our move I got a call from David telling us it was an "all cash move". I had to get to the bank and get the cash..... I was also told I would be getting 3 guys for a minimum of 3hrs. $390 and $130 per hour after that. Only 2 guys showed up on moving day, when I confronted David he said "Oh no I wouldn't send 3 guys".....BS After 6 hours I called him about the next move I had scheduled. I told him the first day cost so much that I couldn't afford to pay CASH for the next move. He told me "Ok, I usually charge more for a credit card move but I will waive that fee". Although we liked the moving guys I would NEVER have hired this company had I known they operated on a cash basis. They wait until the last minute to tell you they want cash so you basically have no other choice! I wouldn't have given 1 star if I could do a minus! read more

I contacted this company via email and received a prompt quote for our local move. When I contacted them to book, they told me the price is double for a saturday move. No where on the original quote (which included our saturday move date) did it mention anything about increased rate on a saturday. Premium Movers made our move from Roseville to Fresno very easy and stress free! We have moved many times, but I am so happy with the service I got from them. They went above and beyond to move all of our household items, even pictures that were still on the walls. I can't reiterate enough how stress free this move was, how quickly they got everything loaded up, and how quickly it was unloaded. They took apart and reassembled the furniture to where I wanted it, and unloadEd all of the boxes to the rooms I desired. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, and use them again if I needed. The movers showed up on time, Were friendly and did a decent job, but I felt like they were doing everything in their power to stall and stretch out the time, even getting "lost" and missing a turn when they were following right behind me to a house we were taking some stuff to. The only thing Premium about these movers is their price!! These movers were unbelievably bad. Do not hire them or you will be very sorry, as we were. We were just moving from Granite Bay to Loomis, but they severely underestimated the time and manpower it would take to move us correctly. Still the price was almost $8k. On moving day they showed up with 8 guys. They were completely unorganized, so we had guys coming at us from all directions asking questions, with more sometimes repeating the same question. Running from room to room grabbing our belongings and expensive furnishings. At some point they realized they weren't going to get the job done in the day they had allocated, so they brought in 8+ more guys with no more management. We had some very expensive antiques that were damaged. When they arrived at our new home, they began rushing and just dropping furniture and boxes wherever. At the end of the day they didn't even put our master bed together because in their rush they had left pieces behind at our old residence. Walls were damaged. New carpets were soiled with the boxes that came out of their dirty trucks. They said they would make sure we were happy with the placement of everything at the end of the day, but in fact they all just took off. At that point it was 7 pm. They made a stressful day tenfold more stressful because of the lack of forethought management and organization. They demand cash before unloading, so you have no recourse. When I called the President the next day, who was actually the person who had bid the job, all he said was how unhappy the guys were that we didn't give them a tip. Are you kidding? They left us in complete chaos. I have since had to hire another moving company to rearrange furniture that they misplaced. This company is the worst!!! read more

I called Premium Movers and David came out and gave me an honest estimate. He provided me with plastic moving totes a couple weeks before our move to allow me time to pack my stuff. When his team came to the house on moving day they were friendly, fun to talk to and were very hardworking, efficient and careful with our belongings. I'm happy I chose Premium Movers for our move from Orangevale to Tracy. They were very flexible with me needing to change the moving date several times. The pricing was by the hour and very reasonable. They tell you up front and stick to their estimate. The 2 movers were Paul and Isaac. They worked fast and furious, and would often ask how I wanted something packed or where I wanted it placed. They were very careful and considerate with our belongings and our home, wrapping everything up in blankets. I couldn't have asked for anything more from a moving company. Premium Movers were recommended to me and turned out to be one of the BEST recommendations ever! They were willing to work with me and move my house in increments...first job was 'just' books and bookcases, but believe me I have a total library...this was no small task especially from a second-story location. Then the official whole house move included two very unique, custom-made, oversize pieces that didn't even daunt the crew. They dived right in with ingenuity and determination and I now have my treasures safe in my new home. I would hire these men again in a heartbeat!! Most movers charge by the hour, I would rather they bid by the job but it's just not that way. When you charge $175/hour I should expect the people would work (hard) for each hour I'm paying. Unfortunately, that's not how I felt with Premium Movers. Three guys showed up with a 26' truck to move us out of our 2489 square foot single story home. Our new home had not closed yet so all our possessions were going into storage about 20 minutes away. No appliances were being moved, we gave away our dining room set, packed 60 totes plus boxes and disassembled the beds ourselves. The guys wrapped furniture in plastic wrap, loaded everything in the truck and unloaded it into storage. The cost, $1864!! Often, during that very long day, I felt like I had to babysit to insure all three guys were working. I'll let you come up with your own conclusion on that. Finally, there's another cost you should be aware of. They use hard plastic totes instead of cardboard and will rent them to you for $7/month. We got the first month free but, by the time we unpacked them all, had to come up with an extra $420. read more

The owner of this company, David, is awful to work with. I answered all his initial questions so he could give me an accurate quote. He significantly underestimated how long our job would take (by about 4 hours or $600 extra we had to pay compared to his original quote). His initial questions and thoroughness were horrible. For example, he asked how many dining tables we had and I told him 2. He then said a lot of the extra time was due to the chairs that had to be moved. Did he not think that our dining tables had chairs in his original quote?! He's the professional and should pay attention to those details. Ridiculous! The workers we had were awesome and extremely hard working. I would suggest you get a flat rate quote instead of hourly, otherwise the owner will try to scam you. We recently moved from Roseville to Cameron Park and they treated us and our belongings like we were moving long distance. The owner David Aguilar came to our house personally to get an accurate understanding of our moving needs and he provided a quote that he guaranteed not to exceed. We received two other quotes that were lower (both provided over the phone), but we had confidence in David's quote and his explanation of the services we could expect from his company. We were not disappointed. They arrived on time with a team of three which as later expanded to five with a second truck to ensure that they finished on time as promised. The crew were in clean uniforms, were clean cut and polite. They worked hard and efficiently and we cannot think of anything that Premier did that was not performed as David promised...and that is why we gave them a five star rating. Awesome job!
