My experience with La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Premium Parking On July 4th, 2025, I trusted the valet service at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in New Orleans with my vehicle- Lexus GX during my trip to the city for Essence Fest. While grooving to the amazing vibes of GloRilla, I received a call from Valet Parking informing me that my car had significant windshield and surrounding damage while in their care. When I returned, my vehicle (a) had suffered significant windshield and surrounding damage. I am so disappointed in both La Quinta Inn and Premium Parking for their lack of accountability. Despite recognizing my vehicle was significantly damaged while in their care, both parties have repeatedly refused to take full responsibility for ensuring the damage is fully addressed. DO NOT PARK HERE - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED Location: Premium Parking - P218 (218 O'Keefe Ave, New Orleans) My vehicle was broken into at this location, and several valuable items were stolen, including my cosmetology school supplies, iPad, and personal equipment for my business. I filed a police report and reached out to Premium Parking for help -- not only did they refuse to take any responsibility, but they also made it clear they don't monitor the lot, don't offer security, and won't compensate you no matter what gets stolen. There were no visible warnings about the lack of surveillance when I parked, and for $40, I expected basic safety. Had I known this was a high-risk, unmonitored lot, I would've just paid a few extra dollars for valet with the hotel. I'm a student building my business -- this set me back in real time. If you're visiting downtown NOLA, especially for an event or overnight stay, do not risk it with Premium Parking. They advertise convenience but offer zero protection for your property. I live 3 hours away and had to get back home so had to pay it. I am disputing charge with my bank Monday. I've already filed complaint with BBB against Premium Parking and Admiral Enforcement. Let me save you some time: don't give your money to Premium Parking unless you enjoy being penalized for paying them. I paid for a monthly parking pass. I made a simple mistake -- the wrong license plate was linked to my account. I corrected it the moment I found out. Despite the fact that I had already paid for the space, they still hit me with multiple tickets. No warnings, no human judgment, just automatic fines for a car that was, in every meaningful way, authorized to be there. I appealed, thinking surely someone would look at the situation and go, "Ah, honest mistake from a long-time customer who's never had an issue. Let's wipe the slate clean." Nope. Instead, they reduced a few fines but insisted on charging me $60 in "administrative fees" -- for tickets I shouldn't have received in the first place. I've used their system for five years without a single problem. That apparently means nothing. I even explained (to the void) that my company is ready to pay $120/month for my parking going forward. That's $1,440 a year they could have had -- but they chose to die on a $60 hill. This company doesn't care about fairness, context, or common sense. They see your license plate as a barcode and your wallet as a target. The moment anything goes slightly off-script, they'll fine you and call it "policy." Take your money somewhere else. Premium Parking doesn't deserve your business, your trust, or your time. Note: My experience was at P2811 which is not on Yelp and neither is PP HQ to my knowledge. Update: After posting this review, I was contacted directly by the Director of Customer Support and received a full refund. While the resolution took time and escalation, I appreciate that the company ultimately took responsibility and made things right. I'm updating my rating accordingly. read more

Paid parking at universal then told because of Super Bowl I had to use the premier lot 4 blocks away. Hard working med student trying to go to class. So now paid to park in 2 lots at the same time. Then had to download premier app. The app reverted to my former license plate when I co owned my car w my parents. Came out after an hour class ( paid for 12hrs ) and had a boot on the car. Had my receipt and the same make and model of car. Had to now pay $90. This is completely unfair. Another student inputted a single wrong number for the lit and she had a boot too. Tulane needs to help their students out. Btw Super Bowl x2 days is over and the contracted lot is still not open. Come on Nola ... do better. Deserves no star at all. I contacted the company and was still charged a $90 removal fee. I contacted BBB for help 2 weeks after filing a claim through the recommended Premium parking claims. I am a monthly Parker and was ticketed by TAGGR for not paying. Premium Parking would do nothing to investigate or correct the situation with TAGGR even though they acknowledged that I paid for the spot. Several days no spots were open and there are no alternate Premium Parking lots in walking distance to my building but they refuse to refund or prorate. The lot is in general disrepair. Customer service is hard to reach, didn't apologize, talked over me, and refused to provide any help. read more

They shouldn't even get one star. This is for P139 which is the parking lot outside of the World War II Memorial Museum near New Orleans. We tried several times paying for parking on our phone and we assumed it went through after trying for at least 15 minutes, getting code after code which is extremely misleading. We came out and there was a boot on our car and three others which obviously is a scam and proof that they make it so hard to pay the parking fee so that they can collect money. I sent a dispute and they sent me back the $30 parking fee but not the $90 boot fee. When I reached out again about the $90 they said they already made a decision. read more

This is part of the corruption in New Orleans where you have Premium Parking making parking reservations and Admiral Enforcement going around town only to put boots on people's cars. Even after I've called Premium Parking to reserve parking and they have assured me my car would be safe, I've still gotten "the boot." I've been refunded the monies after I've cancelled the boot charge on my credit cards. But, the local news stations need to have an investigative reporter do a story on this. on December 8,2024, my husband and I parked at P145 P Premium Parking lot. We paid for three hours of parking totaling $27.00. I charged this amount on my Discover Card. When we returned to the car, there was a sticker on the car stating that the license number was not in their system. The car had been "booted" so it couldn't be removed. Admiral Enforcement employee said the fine was $150.00 and would have to be paid before we could leave. I even showed where I had paid on the credit card. we paid the fine ( under duress) and left. Needless to say, we were furious. We called our credit card company on the way home and come to find out, the charge went through. Ten minutes later, Premium Parking refunded the money!!! So now we are wondering if it was all rigged, especially since we were from out of state. We are going to dispute it of course, and will dispute it with the credit card company. Parking is hard enough anyway in the French Quarter without all this harassment. I've called the council woman for that district, the mayor's office and will call the BBB. A boot was put in my car when I still had a hour left of parking. I paid $70 to park for a few hours, then was charge $30 for a boot removal when I still had a hour left of parking. I was blamed for parking in the wrong area, not paying, etc... finally he said he was a system error when reading my tag, but there was nothing he could do unless I paid to get it off. This is another Premium Parking area, but it works a little differently from the one I used earlier this week. It's literally a few hundred feet from Bourbon Street so it's in a prime location. It's a parking garage instead of a parking lot like some of the other Premium Parking areas. When you pull in, an attendant will stop you. They will tell you the rates and let you know to pay when you get back. The attendant gives you a ticket that you need to keep up with and then you get out of your car, like valet. This Premium Parking area was more expensive, but it is right off Bourbon Street and it was technically valet. When we got back, we paid $20. I think we had stayed on Bourbon Street like 4 or 5 hours so that wasn't bad considering the great location of this parking garage. Our car was brought out relatively quickly and we were on our way. If you are visiting NOLA, definitely try parking in the Premium Parking areas/lots. It's a lot easier than trying to find parking elsewhere. read more

I parked in Lot 406 across from Canal Place to run it to pick up my passport. I paid for my parking at 2:37 p.m., and my parking expired at 3:37 p.m. per my receipt. I was in the passport agency for 12 minutes. I walked out to my car, and a boot was on my car because my "time expired." I showed my receipt to Admiral Enforcement, and was then told that my license plate did not show up on their system. I was told to call premium parking, and the representative was not helpful AT ALL. I was told that I would have to pay $150 to have the boot removed, even though I already paid. After waiting for an hour, their system magically started working, and the boot was removed from my car. This was the most unprofessional and ridiculous experience. I would not recommend that anyone park in this lot because they will try to scam you out of money. read more

My friend and I went to go visit the Vue museum that is across from the parking lot from where I had parked for an hour. We got our parking ticket where we're from in California all you have to do is hold onto your parking ticket until you return the parking garage and pay. I come back to my vehicle with not one but two vehicle boots on the driver and back passenger wheel and sticker on the driver side window. We called the number spoke to a representative. They said that an agent would be out in 20 minutes to remove the boot. It took over an hour for Tshell to come to remove the boots from my car. When Tshell did pull up to the car, he parked directly behind me blocking me in a had all tinted windows and sat there for five minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable! Then we came out and started laughing at us and was making it to the point to where couldn't pay to get the boots removed! Finally after five. Minutes he let me pay but here's the real messed up part! TSHELL THEN GIT BACK IN HIS CAR AND SAT THERE FOR NO REASON SO I TILD HIM IM CALLING THE POLICE ON HIM AND HE WAS SO QUICK TO REMOVE THE BOOT!! I've been emailing the PPE company about getting a refund when they said they would refund me the next day, but Tshell didn't even write my end going car number on the receipt. The card number he wrote is wasn't my card number and i have to keep repeatedly send my receipt and photos, even tho it say on the line the conversation is being recorded! DO NOT PARK IN THEIR LOTS! Prepaid and went to concert. We had over 30 minutes left of prepaid parking but came back to a boot on the car!! Called the boot company ADMIRAL ENFORCEMENT and showed them receipt in addition to the countdown to time left on app. They refused to release the boot and demanded $20 to remove despite having unused time left to park. This is extortion and we were held hostage for money not owed. Nothing but a bunch of criminals. I am filing an appeal with the City of New Orleans because I have read about their ongoing scam. If you appeal to the boot company they will deny it. By the time boot company denies appeal you will have missed the window to appeal to the city. read more

They told us when we returned that our vehicle was not there then after three hours they said it was but not the keys. They would not let us go look for it but asked us to come back another day. They said we should take an Uber or taxi and come back for our vehicle in a day or two. We refused to leave and after seven and a half hours a locksmith showed up and said they do it often. They change times and dates on their video feed to extort money from people who stop in their parking lots from out of state. I have proof that I was sitting in a restaurant eating in another city more than 50 minutes away when they show my vehicle "exiting" their parking lot. We stopped in their lot for a few decision making moments that morning then we left town. According to the bill we were there over an hour. On top of the they want $65 for that hour if it's late $195. Parking was an outrageous $20 hour not $65. Either way I'm not paying just because they think I'm an easy mark for extortion. I wonder how much money they make off of honest hard working people by falsifying records? We paid $35.65 a day to park in their lots for three days. Considering all of the lots in the Quarter are now "pay ahead", the garages are really becoming the only option, if you don't want to pay for more time than you need. This is a pretty typical parking garage. You pull in, hand your keys over to the valet and you pay and get your car when you return. This is a good place to pay and park if you're going out in the Bourbon area and you want to be close and get there and back quickly. We parked here when we were going to Mr. B's and when we returned we handed over our ticket with no problem. There was a little oddness while we were waiting for our car. Turns out the person we handed our ticket to didn't pass it off to a valet, so we waited longer than we had to. All in all, this was a pretty good experience and definitely beats parking in one of those drafty lots, especially when the weather is cool. read more

Ok ya'll, I am SO glad I don't work downtown! Having grown up in NOLA, I have my share of going downtown, usually to party. Construction was a nightmare on Canal Street and I was headed to an all day work conference. Disclaimer: my parents both work(Ed) I hotels downtown with about 50 years between them and the hotels they work for have parking. I naively thought the Astor Crowne plaza had parking (they have valet but I'm too cheap and wouldn't get reimbursed for that nonsense). So I drove around the hotel, and pulled to the corner and asked a local watering down the sidewalk (love my hometown) where I park and be pointed me I the right direction. I'm such a ditz I almost went down the back alleyway or service entrance! Fortunately I saw the sign for This parking joint (God answered my prayer bc I didn't my want to be late for once!). So I pull up and there are two lanes and Ms. Tiffany (found out after I introduced myself) gently asked me to pull up on the left hand lane. After squealing of the tires) there's an incline ya'll) I followed orders. I asked how much it was and since I came in before 9am (around 8:30am) and would leave before 5pm I got the early bird special of $7 and then $3 for my oversized vehicle (read Ruby Dee is a SUV). So I'm adduted that parking is so cheap and she promised she would take care of Ruby Dee. I gently explained I was a local and that this was my first brand new car (new to me 2 years ago) and that her name was Ruby Dee. Tiffany who works 6 days a week to provide for her daughter promised she would take care of Ruby Dee for me so I left the keys in the ignition and jumped out! I was able to enjoy the conference knowing she was in good hands. When I came back around 4:30pm to pickup my girl, Tiffany was still there and got her promptly for me! I was so happy I even called a comment to rave about her! This may be my go to parking spot if I'm on this side of the quarter bc it's right next to Acme Oyster house, Mr. B's, Deanie's etc. Happy Parking ya'll! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Very long story I will try to shorten to the important highlights. Husband and I checked New Orleans off our bucket list a month ago. Checked into a nice boutique hotel on Decatur St. ( not going to say which one because it was very nice and we had no issues with the hotel itself). We valet parked our car on Monday. Did not drive it at all. We were leaving to come back home on Thursday. On Wednesday evening, we were informed the valet that was parking another vehicle damaged our car. The valet did not engage the parking gear correctly or some other mishap. That vehicle rolled downhill into our vehicle. To the tune of approximately $7500 in damage. At first they were all very nice and apologetic and said they would take care of everything. They pulled some parts off the bumpers and their mechanic rigged it so we could at least drive it home safely. Got it home and straight to the body shop within 2 days. Premium wasn't happy with the reputable body shop we took it to. Claimed they had not given permission for the work after they found out how long it was going to take. The didn't want to pay for my rental for that long. So after a wasted week and a half & parts already pulled off, they asked us to have it towed to the dealer. We paid the $200 deposit for the rental and paid $246 for the towing. We were reimbursed $190 for the towing. Here we are, one month later and I still don't have my car back and they refuse to pay for a rental any longer. They still owe $850 to the dealer for repairs. They refuse to pay it because I mistakenly signed a release form that I was verbally made to believe was to release the checks to the dealer and for the $190 for towing. My bad that I should have read every word of the document before signing. But BAD on them for not following through with their responsibilities. Do NOT trust them with your car or any lot they own !! This has tainted our wonderful memories of New Orleans forever. All I will ever think of when I hear New Orleans was how these people screwed us over !! Many of the hotels contract with them and their lots. So BEWARE !! Very untrustworthy and will screw you over !! At this point, we are about $450 - $500 out of pocket so far. And may end up paying the $850 balance because of these crooks ! read more

"Reasonable" overnight parking while staying on Bourbon Street. We drove into NOLA and dropped our car off for valet at this location for 4 nights. I'll admit, I had some minor anxiety that the car would be missing when we came back, but everything was fine! We dropped off with a full tank and left with the same. We used common sense and did not leave anything of value in the car - sure you want my hand sanitizer off the dash? Safety first. Definitely "A-OK" and would recommend to anyone trying to avoid inflated horrifying hotel parking fees. read more

Seems to be a total scam. When sending a picture of your license plate to register for parking, the system puts in a wrong digit. Driving a rental car means the driver doesn't always recognize the error. After finding a boot on my car I tried to call to tell them to say I had paid for hours longer than I was staying and in fact was still paid up to park in another lot we had visited earlier, so I was paying double to park there. Was told we could not have the boot removed until we had paid the $145 removal fee and then we could dispute the charge. Read reviews online afterwards and saw that there's a $50 fee to dispute the charge, and that wrong license plates are never reimbursed. Absolutely will not pay them another $50 and they have totally ignored pictures sent by regular mail of my receipts and the correct license plate that was sent when I registered. So now I'm moving on to other places to fight this company which has no business dealing with the public. read more

I'm returning a star to the star corral because a representative of the company reached out to me acknowledging my previous review and frustrations with the app. She suggested to delete the app and redownload it since they've made some updates, so if you also have issues, try that out! She also noted that, "we have continuous customer service training for all of our managers and we have addressed issues such as this" regarding the lot near Latitude 29. While 85% of the time you're in and out of the lot without meeting any employees, I'm a trusting person and am going to be optimistic about the reconciling of these types of issues! I really appreciate this, and think that they deserved the extra star! I'll let you know how the app is working for me next time I head over to the lot! read more

Premium parking is hit or miss. They pretty much have a monopoly on the parking in the quarter and downtown and uptown New Orleans so they're hard to avoid. As much as I love going into the city, I loathe dealing with parking and will tend to avoid going sometimes just because if it. Most of the time when I do go, I pay, I park and it's fine. But one time I paid my $15 for 3 hours and ran to meet up with someone for dinner. Keeping a close eye on the time, I knew I'd be cutting it close and lo and behold got to my car and found it booted for going 17 min past the time on the ticket. A $90 fee and a boot for 17 lousy minutes. I paid my fee, I waited around for the guy to arrive and remove the boot and decided then and there that from then on, I'd rather park in a nearby neighborhood like mid city or lower garden district and pay for a taxi or uber from there instead of taking chances with Premium Parking again. If I had been at an expired meter, I would be dealing with a ticket ranging from about $25-$40 depending on the violation, but a $90 fee and the hassle of having to wait for the boot to be removed has soured me on them. read more

This is a great place to park if you're staying at a hotel nearby. We stayed at the JW Marriott on the other side of Canal St. and this structure was the perfect choice for us. It's $20 for 24 hours including in-and-out privileges, which turned out to be very handy. It's valet only so do factor in some extra time to retrieve your car as you may have to wait for an attendant. read more

On vacation and used their lot# P194. Paid with the app and was contacted by them when the time expired and time was almost up (15 Mins). Left in plenty of time. I also received a text asking me if I would recommend them because of my service. When I got back to Missouri I found a violation ticket in the mail for $65 (I paid $13 for the short time I was there). Made an appeal on the ticket and was told someone would contact me in 48 hrs. We are well past that time and still nothing. This seems to be a very shady company. They give New Orleans just another reason people tell you to watch out for cons. DO NOT USE THEM!!! CONSUMERS BEWARE -- HORRIBLE SERVICE I wish I could rate "0" stars. Here's what happened when I tried to use their "service." First, I booked a spot about four days in advance, using the website tool. When I realized too late that the service allowed in/out privileges (a good thing), I decided to re-book for a longer period. According to the terms and conditions on the website that's fine, as long as you cancel within 24 hours of the time of the reservation. So....I tried using the site tool to cancel. Maddeningly, the site kept telling me that my email address wasn't valid, even though I had received a confirmation and receipt at that same address! Next, I called the customer service line and explained what happened, The agent told me that their have been problems with the website, and to just book a separate new reservation via the site, and then just email customer service with the info for the first reservation, and they would simply cancel it and send me a confirmation. Great. So I email customer service THREE TIMES over the next three days and get NOT A SINGLE REPLY. Next, I call customer service one more time, approaching 24 hours to reservation time. A nice woman named Alicia (Aleysha?) takes all the information, apologizes profusely and tells me that someone from finance would have to call me back to do the cancel. Two weeks later now, having come and gone to NOLA, still nothing from these people. So i called Amex and disputed the fee. Luckily I have the three time-stamped emails and records of the calls.
