My husband and I are staying at an Airbnb property that is about 4 miles from the French Quarter. We were going take an Uber, which would have been about $14 one way on today (a Monday). We drove to New Orleans so we decided to see if we could find decent parking. We did a Google search to find parking garages/lots. We saw the Premium Parking has several lots so we decided to try them, even though we couldn't find the prices. We got to this parking lot and easily found a spot. FYI: These spots are kind of small. You can pay a few ways. We texted a code to a number that was listed there. I then received a text with a link. I uploaded a picture of my license plate. Then, I chose 3 hours. This ended up being $15, which was better than paying for an Uber. I received a text confirming I had 3 hours. When it was 15 minutes from my 3 hours expiring, I received another text reminding me that my time was almost up. I got another text when my time expired. This lot is located not far from Café Du Monde, the French Quarter Market, and Jackson Square. I'm not sure if the pricing changes in the evening, but $15 was not a bad price to park within walking distance to so many places in the French Quarter.

Apparently it is a known fact by our hotel, this parking lot, and the New Orleans Police department that this parking lot is known for car break ins. My friends car and 7 other vehicles last night had their windows broken out and items stolen from their vehicles. The police officer that arrived said it was a known issue and there's not much they can do. If this is a known issue why not have an officer stationed in that area that is two blocks from the police station. For $66 a day you would think the parking lot owner would at least put some sort of surveillance there, especially since it's a widely known issue.

Wrongfully changed dates and charged extra fees to "not have a current date". They changed my date. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

Not busy there were a lot of spots open around 5 pm. Paid for mobile app. Good location if you're going on the cruise!

We arrived and called the number as directed (during business hours) & no one picked up. We called the other number & was just told we need to wait until someone showed up. 20 minutes later, the person working the booth walked up and got upset with us in "not reading the instructions right" before purchasing. We told him how we found the option, offered him to read what we read, & he said "no it's right there, you just didnt read it" and didnt care to explain. I spent time during this exchange and afterwards looking online various ways and there is not one site that says that. Then he told us he had been "running around the last 4 hours" and that we were basically inconveniencing him for showing up on the hours of his work day. "Can I take a break first ? I can't do this right now. I can refund you and look at places you all can park but I promise it's not a spot you want". It was not the lunch hour yet either. We decided to give him a hour to himself to sort out his emotions on his designated day to work which he was amenable to and "I'll be here all day". We stopped by the PMSI management company of the garage (a few doors down) and the front desk was empathetic but did not care for us to escalate it to someone and just said "he is the one who runs things" at the garage. Clearly their level of professionalism was enabling staff to perform at the level that we were experiencing. We came back around 4pm and he wasn't there again. He showed up then stated he only had 1 spot "and it's so narrow no one wants to park there. One of our staff gave it up this morning and it's just hard to get out of it. You're welcome to go take a look but I promise you won't want it". We looked around and there were plenty of available spots per the app and in plain view, beyond this security gate one would go through (after receiving the access card). The spots were all extremely narrow but this guy swore up and down no spots at all were available unless we were going to apply for the apartments (4 winds or the strand) "I have a lot of spots for that though". Clearly this guy had some particular opinions of us already or was feeling some way the day we went in because that was the strangest thing I have ever noticed or experienced. Since he was so adamant on how we could go look ourselves & how much the spot was bad, we decided to save our valuable time and asked for a full refund and found a better, user friendly lot for our vehicles instead. Looks like some people had odd situations in the past yet I recommend going somewhere else that will respect your money and time more with less attitude.

My experience with La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Premium Parking…read moreOn July 4th, 2025, I trusted the valet service at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in New Orleans with my vehicle- Lexus GX during my trip to the city for Essence Fest. While grooving to the amazing vibes of GloRilla, I received a call from Valet Parking informing me that my car had significant windshield and surrounding damage while in their care. When I returned, my vehicle (a) had suffered significant windshield and surrounding damage. I am so disappointed in both La Quinta Inn and Premium Parking for their lack of accountability. Despite recognizing my vehicle was significantly damaged while in their care, both parties have repeatedly refused to take full responsibility for ensuring the damage is fully addressed. I'm sharing this to warn future customers and to encourage accountability. If you plan to use valet here, please be aware.

I filed a police report and reached out to Premium Parking for help -- not only did they refuse to take any responsibility, but they also made it clear they don't monitor the lot, don't offer security, and won't compensate you no matter what gets stolen. There were no visible warnings about the lack of surveillance when I parked, and for $40, I expected basic safety. Had I known this was a high-risk, unmonitored lot, I would've just paid a few extra dollars for valet with the hotel. I'm a student building my business -- this set me back in real time. If you're visiting downtown NOLA, especially for an event or overnight stay, do not risk it with Premium Parking. They advertise convenience but offer zero protection for your property. Be smarter than me and park somewhere safer. Signed, a disappointed -- and now out-of-pocket -- paying customer.
