Not going back. Very uneven hair layering and length. Laurie doesn't listen to my requests and just does what's the most expedient for her. Doesn't use scissors and prefers electric trimmer. Hands down the best barber to date and we've tried many in the area. The owner was incredibly friendly and took her time with my son and I. I made a last minute appointment online and we were served promptly at that time, although they do take walk ins. Absolute worst haircut and beard trim I have ever received! Went to this place based off positive reviews on both Yelp and Google. Turns out it was a waste of my time. Haircut was uneven. Does not flow as smooth as it should from my sides do the top. Spent more time around the ears than any other haircut I've ever had. My beard trim was so awful that I had to fix it when I came home. I asked for keeping the length while evening it out. Lady did neither of that. The right side of my face was left longer and fuller than the left side of the face. Both sides had spots longer than other places on the same side as well. During the entire visit, the lady was extremely condescending. Saying she had 30 years of experience like she knew what she was doing. In fact, she did not know how to do a propper beard trim at all. No wonder this place had appointments so readily available on a Saturday. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. read more

I tried this place based on a recommendation from Yelp. It was clean the barber was very nice, and there wasn't 30 people waiting like I usually find at Simmons on Saturday.... The hair cut turned out just the way I like it. this is probably due to the fact that the barber asked me several questions prior to you starting the haircut.. Haircut was only $12. More than reasonable considering that you can get scalped for twice the price right up the road... I keep coming here until they give me a reason to stop...I've been here a year and a half so far and in search of A permanent barbershop... We'll see how it goes! read more

My husband got the best haircut and beard trim he has had in the 27 years we have been married! Laurie was great at listening to what he wanted and giving him exactly what we asked for. They are so friendly there without being invasive on your life! They have a customer for life! Price was very reasonable and they got him in quickly. I went here after reading TJ L.'s review and some of his other reviews that were on point. One of the hardest things to do in a new area is find a quality barber. I've moved all over the country and have the hardest time finding barber in each location (La, Va, Ca, Md). A few other places in the area have done a decent job, but none of them really spend any time looking at my head and figuring out how to cut it. I have difficult hair to cut (very thick and 8 cowlicks). Most barbers will ask what I like, seem to understand, then just cut the same thing not remotely close to what I want. The barber at Premo's (I didn't catch her name) is one of the best I've had so far, and my mother cut my hair for 25 years. She asked me how I wanted it, asked questions to make sure, then spent a few minutes explaining to me how she was going to do it. I felt confident from the start I would be able to leave not wearing a baseball cap, which is common and a sign to the wife that I had a bad barber experience. Plus, you always know they are legit barbers when they straight razor your neck and ears. Needless to say, Premo's does a great job, and best part is it is far below the average cut of other places in the area. ($12 vs. $16-20). This will definitely be my new barber shop. read more

I was excited to go here based on the positive reviews, but I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with my haircut, and would not recommend this place to anyone. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted based on previous cuts I had before moving here, but the haircut came out nothing like I showed. I typically leave the top long and sides very short and I was never shown during the entire time what she was doing to my hair, then suddenly I get turned around at the end and it's short all the way around, and there was a distinct line all the way around my head where a fade had been attempted. I had no idea even what to say for it to be fixed, and figured it was in my best interest to just leave and hope another place would be able to fix what was left. read more
