Great customer service! Classic barbershop. Easy parking and in a great shopping center. Makes life easy.

Service Requested - Haircut. Dave - professional; wonderful; spot-on; and always with his "A" game. Quality of Haircut - Consistent; exactly what was requested and required. Vibe - Dirty. Trash. Cut hair on the floor. Cut hair being blown around with the hairdryers. Customers being impacted. Combs - not being cleaned or disinfected. Owner's white combs have dark stains between the "teeth." When dropped on floor not cleaned or disinfected. Disinfecting Jars - not being utilized and do not appear to be cleaned or replenished as the levels are low and nothing is in them to be disinfected. Floors - dirty and stained. Windowsills - dirty. Hair and dust on each level of the aluminum rails. Work Stations - space under the cabinets - dirty - trash - children play items still there for more than 6 weeks. Complete mess. Can no one clean under the cabinets? Football helmets - layer of dust. Likely not cleaned since the Sale. Veteran items - layer of dust and appear to lack attention. If you cannot maintain; maybe best to remove it. Barbershop Chairs - dirty and getting worst. Barbershop Chair Cushions - aging and cupping on the 4 sides. Potential trip hazards. Counter top and horizontal surfaces - dirty and dusty. read more

First time visitor. They seem very friendly and welcoming to their "regulars " not so much for a first time visitor. I have been traveling out of town, just needed a trim. Bring cash, they don't take cards and they charge $2.75 to use the ATM. Not sure if I would go back again. read more

ever will I go again. I've been going for about three, years. Initially thought it was fine,but inconsistent. I asked for a trim x2 and got shaved almost to the skin I complained and the barber stated it would grow back_ He..the same man spouted bible verses and what he considered funny stories. I was ignoring the jokes, but no longer. This man uses the chairs at the front of the store! So people will say why didn't you stop him.....onceyou take a slice of hair you are done. I've always read Yelp but never posted. This year I moved from the upstate and read a lot of reviews to help establish myself and find area business's to support and make part of my routine. Jeff's has become my go to for Saturday morning walk in's. I've been 15-20 times and always sign the wait list for the next available barber/stylist. This past Saturday, I witnessed an incident of poor customer service and a complete disregard of simple fairness to others. Because of this, I decided to create an account so I can share what I witnessed. Which was preferential treatment of others despite a mandatory sign up at the front counter. Jeff's open's at 8am. I pulled up not long before 8 to see one man (coffee man) with his coffee, standing at the door with a steady rain fall to make being under the eve slightly uncomfortable. What I like about Jeff's is that they tend to open early. Which they did this morning. When the door opened, Coffee Man bent over and picked up the delivered newspaper and went inside. He stuck out to me because most of society would just walk by and not take the time to pick up what isn't of any benefit to them. I went in along with many others who were sitting in their cars who also signed in. What I witnessed was that after Coffee Man signed in, he made his way to Domonique's chair. At the same time, another man walked in bypassing the signup sheet and attempted to get into Domonique's chair. Coffee Man politely questioned why the second man was taking the chair ahead of others without signing in. The second man said nothing and a third man (who also didn't sign in) said, "some of us were here first in our car's." Coffee Man politely mentioned that everyone's time is valuable and the reason for a signup sheet is to establish order. Coffee Man was 100% correct. I took a poll in my office of 25 and the result was 25/25 agreed with Coffee Man. Additionally, Coffee Man added that keeping track of people in their cars is unrealistic. Domonique loudly snapped, "We don't need your attitude!" Honestly, Coffee Man was justified in defending his place in line. While others sat in car's, he was at the front door and first to sign in. No different than a medical waiting room or boarding a Southwest flight. Domonique should have enforced the integrity of the sign up sheet. Instead, she loudly berated a customer in front of others. Coffee Man motioned for the second man to go ahead. Second man took the seat. Shame on him! I give Coffee Man credit for taking the high road and avoiding further escalation. Coffee man then asked Domonique how many people are going to be ahead of him and when should he return. With a short tone, "I don't know". I'm sorry, but I've seen many of Jeff's barbers/stylists give customers on the wait list an estimated time to return. To include myself. Domonique was on a power trip and clearly unaccommodating. Coffee Man pointed out that he has no idea who's ahead of him being that he was first through the door and first on the list. AGAIN, Coffee Man is not wrong. Domonique then scolded him, "Maybe you shouldn't have missed your last appointment!" WOW!!! So that's what this is about? He's being chastised for missing an appointment? Everyone is guilty of this. I can't imagine that Coffee Man is the first to miss an appointment at Jeff's. These things happen. Coffee man quickly responded, in so many words, "which I sent you an apologetic text. Again, I apologize." I don't do well with confrontation and I sat there watching a customer get beat down in front of everyone. It was apparent that ownership/management were not present, because this would not have happened. Clearly Domonique holds grudges. How toxic for a wholesome environment full of families and our senior citizens. With our country in such political chaos, and loss of common courtesies to others, Jeff''s should be an escape. That's why I choose the walk in option on Saturday's. To disconnect. My stomach was in a knot and I was appalled. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Great local barbershop tucked into the Seaside Farms plaza. Jeff's is cash-only, so come prepared, but the prices are very reasonable and the service is reliable. There are plenty of barber chairs, so wait times are usually minimal even when it's busy. Classic, no-frills atmosphere with skilled barbers who know what they're doing. This is Jenn with some old, ugly guy she knows. She is simply Awesome!! I've been retired from the Marine Corps for 25 1/2 years now and just can't deal with hair. I got haircuts once a week back then, now it's more like once a month. Jenn is one of those brave souls who does flat-top haircuts. I absolutely love her! If you're like me and really appreciate a good haircut, Jeff's is the place. Very military friendly as well. They do all kinds of haircuts and have lots of barbers. The good: Been 3 times and everyone I've had cut my hair has been very friendly and attentive. Plenty of barbers that you can book with, so the lines always move. Neat, old-school-y atmosphere with lots of flags, signs, license plates, etc. Online reservations are available as well as walk ins. The not-so-good: Cash only, but they do have an ATM in the shop. My experiences have varied in terms of my actual haircut, but my latest one turned out great. Hoping to continue that trend next time. read more

I highly do recommend this barbershop. It's extremely high-quality for the price very affordable. If you don't want to read this paragraph this is shortly my advice. FIND THE RIGHT PERSON TO CUT YOUR HAIR & do you research on the barber/hairdresser and MAKE A APPOINTMENT. Now the long review. Vibes are like an old school American barbershop. I have gone there five times. Three times no complaints could be made amazing haircuts. 1 time I just thought the person who cut my hair could have spent a little more time on it. I had to go back because one side was literally longer than the other. The last time I went here and this is the only time I have not scheduled an appointment. It was truthfully the worst haircut I remember ever having at least since I was a kid. Truthfully I think great or sports clips would have done better. I have very thick curly hair and as a white man with hair like that many people do not know how to cut it (truthfully I have never met someone with the exact same texture and curls that I have a few people in my life I've met had *similar* hair, but never have I ever been able to say that person has the same hair as me). Last time I was there at the person spent maybe slightly over 10 minutes just using shears she would look over to talk to her friend while she is taking off way too much of my hair she just kept sheering away like sheep wool, cutting my hair and with curly hair, you really shouldn't just use shears. You definitely are going to want to use a good pair of scissors for a lot of the hair so that it won't break or bend your curls. This barbershop is about FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON. It's very affordable. They have so many people. You need to find your person and you'll have affordable great haircuts. I really would want to give this five stars. Because of my last haircut, I literally went somewhere else today for a haircut. I've been going to Jeff's all year. Jeffs barbershop is it good barber shop please don't base my one single bad experience to deter you not going here. I recommend just researching the person who's going to cut your hair before going. Unfortunately I have just forgotten the names of the people who gave me fantastic cuts. So that's my honest take if you find the right person you're going to be very satisfied. If you have "normal" hair typical Caucasian or typical African hair, I could not imagine you having a "bad" haircut (don't twist that my hair is just not "typical"). My hair is specific I was even told this today a while it was being cut. It is very hard to find a style for hair like mine and to also find a way to cut that style. I do strongly do recommend this place. I've gone for normal haircuts, fades, thinning, and shaves. I'm absolutely satisfied every time (as long as I research my hairdresser/barber and make an appointment not a walk in). It would really help on the website if they could put pictures of ALL the barbers and hairdressers that way, I can pick the person I know put a lot of effort into my hair and avoid the people that did not put a lot of effort in. That's just a suggestion. On the website, I think some of them have pictures. I wish they all did. We got there 10 minutes late from our appointment with Michelle for my son. I immediately told the receptionist who said oh no worries just sit by Michelle's chair and she will get you. She was working on someone and after 10 minutes sitting there she asked who we are waiting on. We told her we have an appointment with her and sorry we were 10 minutes late. She said she took someone else and she can't take us. She was very rude and totally not helpful. I will never come back here again! read more

My husband has been going to Jeff's for several years now. He comes out with a different haircut every single time. Usually it's fine and they listen to him. We are going out of town to a place where lots of photos are taken. This time at Jeff's Barber, he just sat down and gave him a buzz cut. There is nothing to work with and it made his head so round. He would never ask for a buzz cut, he gets 2 on the side and 4 on the top. But apparently they didn't even ask this time. So if you want a different haircut every time, and if you want a barber that doesn't listen to you. This is the place to go. read more

Stopped in here on a recent visit to Mt. Pleasant. It was a full house but there are numerous barbers so I didn't have to wait long. Like many other barbershops it's cash only, but they have an ATM inside. After a few short minutes of waiting and looking at all the decorations, Jerry called me over to his chair. Jerry is a master barber, formerly of Thomas' barbershop down the street. He provided me with good old fashioned barbershop talk, and a fantastic haircut. Highly recommended! The Vibe at Jeff's barber shop is very chill, like being at an old time family shop which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. He values every customer especially the veterans and active duty military as you can tell from immediately walking through the door. Most of the barbers I have used and or watched do a great job, but my usual go to stylist is Pamela Suttle who I think is one of the best in the group, very professional and respectful to your needs. No matter how busy it may get, once you are in her chair she treats you like royalty and is always eager to try something else if you want. How do I start this review. Pamela Suttleone of the best hair stylist there. I've been there two times. Both times she has cleaned me up with no complaints with how my hair has grown out. She's always eager to try something else. She's worth her weight in gold.
