We called to confirm if the patient records we sent had been received--nothing out of the ordinary. Instead, we were met with complete silence for nearly two minutes. No greeting, no acknowledgment. When she finally spoke, it was with a rude, dismissive "um... can you hold up?" and a tone that was completely unacceptable. Her attitude was not only unprofessional--it was outright disrespectful. This type of behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in veterinary care where clear, respectful communication between clinics is essential for the wellbeing of our shared patients. This is not the level of service or professionalism anyone should expect, especially in a setting that involves the care of animals and coordination between veterinary professionals. I sincerely hope this is addressed, as it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. Her attitude was shockingly careless and disrespectful. In a field where communication and compassion matter--especially between veterinary teams--this kind of behavior is inexcusable. It left a terrible impression of the facility as a whole. If this is how Pet Paradise handles basic inter-clinic communication, it raises serious concerns about how they manage more critical interactions. This experience was incredibly disappointing and reflects poorly on their facility. Pet Paradise needs to seriously evaluate who they have representing their front desk.

They are friendly and seem to enjoy the brief conversation while I'm there. They seem genuinely interested in any comment or concern I have with my dog. The caregivers are also happy and polite when they receive my dog...know his name ect... I've been in retail/ customer service for over 40 years. There is not much "customer service" around anymore. We needed a SWFL vet for our new puppy and GSAH was AHAA accredited, had several vets available (which increases your chances of being seen) and their education was with excellent vet schools. The front office staff (Tim, Mckenzie) have been so helpful, kind and caring. They send us our records every time our pet insurance asks (again and again), and they do so that day. No need to call again. They communicate reliably through email and text too. The vet techs/vet nurses are incredibly gentle, caring and knowledgeable. My pup has had many blood draws due to a condition, plus nail trims, and she is not at all afraid to go with them. They give great advice on caring for your dog as well. Shoutouts to Lisa, Kelly, Dina and Chris! The vets we have had, primarily Dr Cook, and also Dr Randt for an emergency, have been kind and smart. They take a thoughtful approach and both of them have cautioned to take things step by step to not overspend or do too much too soon. I am so frustrated when I see review complaints about vets, or vets in general. "trying to rack up the charges" because my experience with GSAH has been the opposite. I'm the one saying "do it all," and the VETS are the ones saying "hold on, let's go one step at a time here so you don't spend so much money unnecessarily." This happened with a liver issue diagnosis, and again when my dog swallowed rocks. We took things a bit at a time. The vets take a good amount of time with you and all of your questions will be answered to satisfaction. I never felt rushed. My dog breed (mini dachshund) is one that has more reactions to vaccines and they are very good with spacing out the vaccines instead of pushing to have them all at once. You are listened to at this practice and there is a collaborative model of care. You will be given treatment options and work with the doctor to make good decisions for your pet. Everything has been so exemplary here that I am completely spoiled for any new vet office up north. I almost don't want to leave for summer because they're that great. We feel really fortunate to have found them!

She answered my call right away and was able to visit Topper that very day and every day since that time. She was very understanding of the immediate need and handled the situation and call with true compassion and care. Kris is an animal lover through and through and she also volunteers at animal shelters in addition to her work pet sitting. She certainly knows a lot about cats and was able to give several recommendations and tips when asked. She is licensed, insured and pet first aid/cpr trained. The rates are fair and reasonable. From the point one in our arrangement, I knew she is the most ideal candidate for the job. My cat is incredibly shy and does not trust people easily; she typically hides even when family members visit our house. To address that, Kirsten invested time in getting to know my Ema over the course of several acclimation visits, and each time establishing a closer contact with the cat. As a result of this, Ema bonded with Kirsten by the time I had to go for my extended trip. Kirsten would provide detailed reports and photos from each of her visit. She would not only feed, clean and take care of Ema daily, she also filled that special space to make her comfortable and not lonely.
