Pampered Pet Resorts LONG POST - SORRY! If you have a queasy stomach do not look at these pictures. =/ Pampered that it was NOT. The first two pictures was the first day I picked him up, the second two was yesterday 12/2/24 obviously healing, I hope. This place from the very beginning wasn't forthcoming. I was told a blanket could be brought, (Nope it can't) because this was the first time for him and us, I wanted him to be comfortable. I was nervous and I know Bentley is a nervous nelly! He was placed in private because he has everything intact. So private it was. I was ok with that. One on one is perfect! *checked in WRONG Bentley at first. (red flag) #1 * got 1 report card on Thursday saying he is having a great time! Then that's it no more communication at all after the 1 report card. *Cameras were not working because getting new ones. (hmmm) * receipt stated 6 times playdates with one on ones a day supposedly. (Remember that) So after picking him up at 11:47 pm 12/1/24 plus tipping, which I would suggest NOT to TIP until after you get your loved one. Had I seen his balls (sorry) and the smell that came with him I WOULD HAVE NOT TIPPED AT ALL! Bentley came out and was not happy, ears folded back and tail between his legs. When the front desk brought him out at that point she NOTICED his balls were Red and inflamed along with his ears and body. And said "Oh my gosh I just noticed". So I asked how the "heck" this happened and why was I not notified about this? So for 5 days he's had allergies and or nervous and licked his balls so bad the pictures speak for themselves. I said I expect a phone call tomorrow from Manager to find out what the heck happened and how did this happen. Unacceptable! Now remember he had private play. So after reviewing my receipt that they sent via email. 6 times they stated he had played a day and you mean to tell me no one NOTICED a fricken thing or bothered to reach out, because if they had I could have told them his allergy pills were in his bag or maybe call the emergency pick up person on his profile who knows him well and would've picked him up. Finally on 12/2/2024 at about 3:53pm Eliza from Pampered Pets called and I was not happy to say the least. All I got was an apology. She did feel bad because she has 4 dogs herself. But still nothing, no refund, or how can we make this better. I did tell her that if someone asks I will gladly share my experience. Anyway use at your own risk.. I would not recommend at all! We're from Las Vegas. We boarded are dog(Pomeranian) we dropped the dog off Close to 10:00am. We picked her 25 to 25.5 hours later. They changed us another $32.00. So they charged $60.00 plus $32.00. For the hour, hour and half. In Vegas we board her. It's between $30.00 to $45.00. We would drop her off at7:00 am. The next day pick her up the next day. It could be 1 to 8 hours later. No extra charge. So unless you pick your dog up. Exactly 24 hours or less. You will charged over half of what you paid for 24 hours. So, I feel I got ripped off. read more

While at our home in Florida I decided to try this place for daycare because my facility was booked up. The front desk was very nice however when I hear daycare. I expect my pup to be out playing most of the day with of course some rest time. I was told by front desk when I asked that from my drop off at 9:30am until my pick up which I said would be around 2:30 he would be let out of suite two times for up to 20 minutes give or take. The rest of time he would be in a suite. She said they would talk to him give a treat etc. That sounds more like boarding than daycare. 40 min out of suite over 7 hours is "not daycare". Yes, they need little breaks but I've never heard of this. He goes to daycare at home and he never goes in suite unless exhausted. They have little cots around they can rest on with blankets. I bring my dog to daycare to play and get energy out not to be in suite 90% of the day. Seems like people don't mind OR they are "not aware", but for my pup it would be more stressful than fun. I heard dogs barking so loud when I dropped off and when I went back 45 min later because I had a bad gut feeling and wanted to take him home they were still loud. I explained to the manager there & front desk very nicely that for my dog it just wouldn't be enough and I bring him for play. It wasn't for boarding so why would I want him in a suite over seven hours most of the time with two 20 minute play periods? When I went to leave I was still charged for the half day $32. It's not about the money, but it was his first time there I decided it wasn't for him after 45 minutes and I was still charged that price. That just topped off my gut feelings. read more

They claim to provide dogs with four separate play periods; however, the play periods that I did see on camera were extraordinarily short in duration. Also, the area that has a fisheye lens view is nothing more than a pass-through. Dogs are there maybe 5 minutes before there shuffled back to their cement cages, bored and alone for hours upon hours. Since the animals are being ignored during what Pampered Pets employees call "playtime," I called the front desk to ask if she would please ask the supervising employees to simply pet my dog during play time. she responded saying, "they will if we have time." Unbelievable. Also, I happened to see one of the employees literally drag my dog down the hallway by her collar!!!! Completely and totally unacceptable!!! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE. NEVER AGAIN!! I picked up our French Bulldog today after a 6 day stay. On the second day I received a report card stating she was doing great. I called on the 4th day and was informed she was doing well and eating. I agree with others that posted, they ask that you pay and tip before you see your pet. I was shocked when I saw her, she was lethargic, very thin, and was not happy to see me. They clearly lied about her eating and condition. When we arrived home she was very thirsty and weak. They did an amazing job with my very stubborn dog, he is older and when i leave him he goes days without eating, this view did an amazing job hand feeding my big 116 lb American bull dog. He also has a very hard time getting up, i watched as they lifted him. Thank you for an amazing job. read more

AMAZING ALL AROUND!!! We were the " NERVOUS PARENTS" and had to go to the UK for 2 weeks. The thought of leaving my baby was haunting me before we left. I Am SO appreciative of the fine and attentive staff that gave our Fur Baby a lot of after and love .... I was grateful For the camera in his suite so I could see him whenever I wanted whether he was sleeping or playing --- and learning to be around other doggies . I even caught a super cute moment of one of the staff members sitting in his suite and giving him tummy rubs. I'm a single dog mom and travel once a week & I've tried at least 10-12 puppy daycare/boarding spots and NO ONE COMPARES to this place!! They take such good care of my baby Gizmo while I'm away and I can see him on camera the entire time, even when he's out on the playground with his friends, which is so comforting for me. They are open 24/7 which is convenient for me because I don't work a typical 9 -5 workday, I can't always be there by 7 PM to pick him up like every other pet daycare biz out there, which is so frustrating. The staff stay there overnight, but they dim the lighting appropriately. I love that they are there all night, so my dog never feels alone! He's not in a pen with four walls. Rather, he can see out and "people watch" the staff at his leisure. The staff even sneak in there and give him belly rubs:) Another great aspect about this resort is that they don't make my dog play in the hot sun all day long. He gets assigned to a group based on his energy level & size (they tell me what group he will go in and give me his schedule). Gizmo goes for play in 20 minute increments 8-9 separate times over the course of the day (starting as early as 7 AM ending at 9 PM). In between his play times, he gets to go back to his room and take a nap and cool off, which I love. They have a splash pad that they turn on intermittently and they also have an indoor playroom to switch it up a bit. There are cameras everywhere you can see your dog 24/7 If you choose. I pre-package his meals and they feed him on his own schedule and they will use a slow feeder If you request it. Yet another bonus is he can get a bath and blow dry for $25 on exit, which is helpful for me after a longer stay (if he's been there playing hard with his friends so I can bring him home fresh and clean.) Additionally, Gizmo has never come home with any injuries, scratches, skin issues, eye drainage, cough etc like he has developed from staying other places, so it's clear to me whatever they do here cleanliness wise is perfection for our babies to stay healthy! It saddens me that there aren't any other daycare/boarding places like this. read more

This was our first time taking our dogs to a kennel. We were so impressed with this facility. Our dogs were treated with respect and we were able to watch them the whole time. My one dog is elderly and they were so sweet to her. I would recommend this kennel to any dog owner, it was clean the staff was kind and helpful great place to take your animals too. read more

My French bulldogs were separated from each other despite being litter mates that have slept together for all 3 years of their lives and of course having asked specifically that they be kept together. They go at each other sometimes when they see other dogs, fighting each other for attention. When we were told they'd have to be separated if we wanted to bring them back we asked to speak to whoever was making that decision so we could ask why and understand if there was a way to make it work for everyone. Multiples times requested. Never received a call back. More importantly though, I've never seen my dogs leave a daycare or a boarding place acting so sad so really it was for the best that they never called me back I guess. I wanted to keep trying this place because of the ratings. All I have to say is make sure your dogs seem happy when you pick them up and that they're excited to go back. My dogs weren't, which shocked me given the ratings and given they typically love daycare and boarding places. read more

One of the best doggie hotels I have ever seen. 24 /7 staff on site, clean & pleasant dog areas, camera views, caring dog handlers ... I can't say enough good things about this place. I was hyper anxious about giving our 4 month old lab puppy in care for the first time in his life, but seeing him on camera helped and he was in great condition when we picked him up. I called the center a couple of times and whoever I spoke with was professional and kind. I know we will definitely use Pampered Pets again. - yes this is a real customer review :) read more

On return, the manager stated that "it was their policy to try the animal at general play", even though the owner had specifically advised against this. Pampered Pet put my dog and others at risk. Prior to my first boarding, I made it clear that my 10 year old 95# labradoodle wasn't socialized with other large dogs; and that it was best to avoid any situation where he would interact with others. About 6 hours into my 2 day trip, I received an email saying my dog **was removed from general play** for an altercation with another dog. In addition, if he was to be boarded again, there would be a an additional charge of $35 per day (in addition to the $78/day) for private play/walks. **On return, the manager stated that "it was their policy" to try the animal at general play, even though the owner had specifically advised against this.** Dangerous! Absurd! The total cost for a Friday 1030 drop off and Sunday 330 pick up was $184! Go elsewhere! read more

Awful - went to pick up my two dogs and they brought out 2 other dogs. I could have left with them. Finally I got my dogs. They had no idea who my dogs were. "Report Card" was not right, couldn't tell me how they were, if they ate. Didn't know their names. And had no idea how to put on a gentle leader. Yet this is their business. Avoid this place if you care about your dog not sitting in a cage all day long. They do not take the dogs out according to their schedule nor for the length of time they say. We saw this first hand by watching their web cams. We were wondering why our dog would come back with a ton of energy. Then if you complain and ask to speak to management they lie and say they will call you when they never do. We saw this first hand on multiple visits. Bad place! $379 for boarding for 2 dogs for 3 days? This included a puppy program, which they charged me for 4 days @$16 a day! Saturday 9am drop off and Tuesday 8am pick up. Both dogs were put in the wrong suite (curl up when I requested calming) and I was continuously told they charge by the room not the dog. They put my 2 dogs in the same room and charged me for both....why didn't they put my dogs in the XL suite then? or give them their own room? This is a scam alert! The hotel my family stayed at would have charged $150 for both dogs entire visit! My dogs smelled terrible too when I picked them up. Never again. Shame on you pampered pets. read more

Took my dog to pampered pet and then used their online cameras to watch my dog. During a nine hour day they took my dog out of the kennel for all of 10 minutes I called halfway through the day and was told they're busy and they'll take her out later I asked to speak to a manager and was told the owners are out of the country Don't bring your dog here unless you hate your pet read more

Our 10 year old cockapoo, Louie, starts barking with anticipation as soon as we turn the corner and drive into Pampered Pet Resorts. He loves it, and we think it is such a clean, well-run, and organized place. When we board Louie for a week or so, we are able to watch him on the Pet Cam system. We have taken our puppy to a few different doggie day cares / overnight facilities and this one is, by far, the best. I love that you can watch your dog in their crate and even at playtime. They offer a good amount of supervised social interaction. We also love that you can drop off / pick up your dog 24/7. They are very accommodating and the staff is always very friendly. read more

Wish I could give less than one star. This place is like a prison except prisoners get more time out of jail! I watched on the camera as my poor puppy learned how to howl for the first time ever. He has stayed at other care centers with positive experiences but this was not at all positive! I called with my concern and they sent someone in for 10 seconds then stopped answering any calls thereafter. They provided only about 20 minutes of total play time in 2 sessions for 4 hours until I couldn't take anymore, left work and picked him up. They did not even feed the poor thing! Stay far, far away. My 16 1/2 year old Shishon absolutely loves it there. He is well cared for and they keep you updated with report cards or phone calls if needed and you can also watch your dog on videocam 6 times a day. When I go to pick him up, he is relaxed and very happy. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this for your pet if you need to leave them for a short or extended period of time. Did not have a good experience there, in fact, while I was on vacation my sister was monitoring my dog on camera and found he wasn't out for the full 20 minute intervals, he was only fed once a day & his water bowl was empty more than once so she decided to pick him up after 3 days. Good thing she did because they missed a dose of his medication, he had an eye infection, he was dehydrated as evidenced by his pale gums and drinking 6 bowls of water when she got him home and he smelled so bad they thought a skunk sprayed him, their eyes were tearing on the car ride home. Had to send him to the groomer asap. I asked for the owner or manager to call me but no response yet. I will not be going back. I think the place looks beautiful and is clean but they seem to treat the dogs like cattle more than pets. I think a spoiled dog that is used to affection or one with separation anxiety will definitely feel somewhat neglected there. Will hire someone to stay at my home next time. read more

I was hesitant going here at first because they are so new, but the staff built trust and comfort the moment we walked in the door. On top of that, the staff has years of experience and appears to be very knowledgeable. The facility is clean and has a very welcoming atmosphere for me and my "boys"! Now, when I drop the boys off in the morning, they jump out of the car and make a mad dash to get into their new daytime home. The 24 hour drop-off and pick-up is also a HUGE bonus. This is exactly what I need with my crazy work schedule. I have been a dog owner for 20 years and this is by far the best boarding/daycare I have even experienced! I highly recommend giving it a try! These folks do a great job of making your pet feel welcome and comfortable. We take our two pooches there for boarding and they're always happy when we pull up to the door.
