I went Presbyterian 24/7 Urgent care at 9a this, there was 3 others sitting in the lobby whom appeared to have received the initial screening as they had, blood pressure cups on their arms, after my initial check in (and btw, Brandi who took my BP over my sweat jacket which 1 is pretty thick and 2 my arm size adding in my sweat jacket makes it pretty thick) I watched 4 others walk in, 1 other pushed in a wheelchair, all were conscious however all were taken to the back room while I sat and watched, would it have helped my case if I said either my pain was worse than it was or told them I didn't feel safe in my home? I informed the young lady before I left why I was leaving, this isn't unpresidential service and I felt singled out, when I go to the other Urgent care, I plan to write another review hopefully not in this context, this was at 4515 Coors Blvd, sincerely read more

I went to this Urgent Care facility yesterday, the care was excellent! No wait from the appointment time and the staff was awesome. Very courteous and kind. I was in and out quickly which included an X-ray. The medications they prescribed were already called into my pharmacy when I got there. Great experience! "Walk ins available" why advertise walk ins when you are just gonna deny someone when they come in. Ridiculous

I scheduled an appointment here for my husband through the appointment line. They had a hard time finding him in the system but they didn't get frustrated, they were really kind and helpful. I'm already struggling to find him an appointment so I'm really glad urgent care was able to see him quick. He wasn't asked to fill out any paperwork they just asked him the important questions. Why don't I ever get that lucky! My husband doesn't see a doctor unless it is seriously necessary. He had a good experience. He didn't say one bad thing. I was surprised! read more

First off the person that checks you in is slow, so slow. Types in your information with one finger. Looks at you and asks if you are male or female, stupid question. Omg she was so slow I can't get that out of my head. PA came in took about 3 minutes and I was done. Thank you have a great day. read more

Elderly mother, and I am Power of Attorney, registred in the Presbyterian system. PCP disappeared. Replacement PCP ordered a UTI test, came back positive for E-Coli and Strep, no follow up from Dr. Urgent Care would not speak with me despite being registered personal representative and test results being available on MyChart. No call back or communication since. Negligence from start to finish. Looks like it's off the the ER with a 16 hour wait to be seen. Avoid Presbyterian at all costs. read more

Had the best experience at the Urgent Care today. I made an appointment online and was seen at exactly the time of my appointment. This is like unheard of with urgent care and I wasn't expecting to be seen in a timely fashion. My 4 year old was seen by the nurse practitioner Mary Elizabeth (?) Carlson. She was outstanding. I have taken kids to urgent care before and pretty much been blown off and told to follow up with the primary but she was so different. She spent a considerable amount of time with us and was able to diagnose and treat the problem while making my son comfortable.. if you take a kid there, please request her... you won't be disappointed! read more

This place is an absolute joke. There's nothing "urgent" about their care. While I realize that waiting in a medical setting is usually a good thing, meaning you don't need immediate medical care, this place is ridiculous. My father was injured from a fall, which resulted in a laceration to his left knee and a dislocated left shoulder. We waited for 2 hours and no provider came to see him. They closed the doors at 6pm , started cleaning up and getting ready to go home. When I asked if they be treating my father they hemmed and hawed that someone would be in soon. Half an hour later, nothing. I landed out having to take my father who's in excruciating pain at this point to the ER. I should have just done that in the first place. I know people are tired and when we came in it was near the end of the day but my dad was hurt and needed their help. I'm not sure to whom I need to write about this, if there's a medical board I can complain to or a quality assurance department for Presbyterian but someone needs to know about the horrible treatment we received. read more

The providers here are caring and patient. They listened to me when I said I knew something was wrong with my daughter. They did tests that I requested and we discovered my daughter had strep/scarlet fever(even though she didn't present with normal symptoms). I'll be bringing her back here whenever she needs care, even though we live in the south west of Albuquerque. read more

This review is for the staff at Tricore Labs located at the Presbyterian Urgent Care care. I've been there twice for blood work and both times the phlebotomist's were awesome!! No one had to stick me twice, or move the needle around in my arm to find the vein! They were in and out and very little pain! I appreciate that, they were very well trained!! I have been here twice and both times was treated very well. I saw Dr. Longley first and then Dr. Jo today. Both were kind , thorough and professional. I was there today for 3 hours being treated (not waiting) and Dr. Jo spent more time with me than most of my primary care physicians ever have. The support staff was very kind and competent too and the front desk was helpful. I haven't been too impressed with the Presbyterian Medical Center but I do like their urgent care. Yes, I did have to make an appointment but it was only 2 hours from my phone call to them and I'm glad I was able to spend that at home, not in a waiting room. There is a sign there that says they welcome walk ins so I'm not sure why people aren't being seen when they arrive. read more

I had a horrible experience. Bad enough that I walked out of the appointment that I was looking forward to and kind of depending on. The wait time was quick, but the nurse that I saw was a total SCAM ARTIST! IMO her attitude sucked. She didn't come off interested in my concerns. Ok, fine. But what gets me is that I had gone in for leg pain and she turned the conversation into depression and suggested pills. Not what I needed. Basically bad service and yet they still got their money and I'm left with pain and the same questions I started off with. Now that is depressing!!!! read more

I'm just so disappointed that urgent care services have become an appointment-based situation. So the review is for Presby company in general. I walked in today at approx. 8am (cold, cough, laryngitis). The lobby was empty. (unk. if rooms were in use). "Do you have an appointment?" Um..no. You need an appointment, we have a 1:30 pm open. I didth protest (in a squeak). Another woman came into the conversation; the one helping said - like I was a leper - "we have a walk in"-oooh noooo. The second woman said it's been this way for four years. NO, it has not. I used to be able to walk in to this (at that time very good) clinic. She then said, well for a while now. Look, not everyone gets on-line and all that and knows these things. I said where is everyone. They said appointments are in ten-minute increment s so they will 'be here soon'. That's not logical. If it's a rolling 10 minutes then someone should have been waiting, presuming most people courtestously show up a bit early. I get that access needs managed but this is just ridiculous and defeats the purpose. Urgent cares push people to ERs. Then the ERs and insurance companies gig us for using ERs for non-emergency. What are we supposed to do??? Have you advertised this? done PSAs? Access and care in NM is problematic enough, this is just another barrier to care and I just find it sad and shameful. (And I work in insurance and understand things others don't...it's just sad. Great cost-control mechanism tho!). read more

Beware of this place. They do unnecessary labs on you. I went in with my daughter who had a urinary tract infection. They asked her to give a urine sample and then said that they were going to dip her urine. We were unaware that they had a policy of doing pregnancy tests on women of "child bearing age". This was a test that, to be blunt, was not necessary. There were several factors in place that did not require her to have a pregnancy test, yet they went ahead and did one, but did not let us know that they would be doing one. These people are bullies and will basically force you to cooperate with their agenda regardless of whether it's necessary or not and then they will bully you into paying or you will be sent to collections. Do not go here if you want to get good service. If you have to go here, make sure to ask lots of questions about what they are going to be doing and what they are going to be charging you for. By the way, I agree with previous reviewers regarding the fact that you have to make an appointment to be seen. That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard of. Urgent Care facilities are supposed to be walk-in, first come, first served. Appointments are for someone's regular doctor and can wait for another time. read more

Rude and unprofessional! Showed up there with a temp sicker than a dog 40 minutes till closing I walk up the lady asks what I need. I explain I think I may have a head cold, she asks if I have an appointment cause they close at six and I need an appointment. When does urgent care require an appt? When I called I was notified I didn't need an appointment walk ins are welcome. The lady did offer to call another location however, I already drove across town in the first place to get there!
