I have gone to this nail salon 3x's, the first 2x's I had a wonderful experience. This week on January 21 my husband wanted to pamper me. I got a mani/pedi. It started out wonderful. Starting with a pedicure. The young man was quiet, but he did a great job. Another man was doing a lady's pedicure next to him . They were conversering in their own language, I really don't care, but sometimes you wonder if they are talking about you. He finished with my feet and told me to go to the chair with the light on at the table. At first I wasn't able to understand him so I asked him to repeat it. The other man looked at me and said,... he said he wants you to SIT ON THE TABLE FOR HIM! I repeated what he said and then told him.. I'm not going to sit on the table for anyone. I'm sure he thought he was being funny, but I found it to be very disrespectful to be speaking to an older women that way. I got my manicure and tipped him generously because I thought he was nice, and wasn't responsible for the other idiot and he did a good job. My husband came in and paid my technician... what I wasn't aware of is my husband also tipped my nail technician..I didn't know this until we pulled out of the parking lot. I didn't tell my husband, I figured this guy isn't trustworthy or as nice as I thought he was. Maybe he really needed the money. But I will not be going back to that nail shop. Because of the disrespectful employees . After reading some reviews, this same nail tech was dishonest with another client! Don was his name, he may look sweet, but he's dishonest and can't be trusted! The other one has a nasty mouth. What an evil way to treat your customers! My wife and I have been customers for roughly two years since moving to Prescott. We've walked in and made appointments with zero issues. Timing is always important. I just go for the basic pedicure to prevent ingrown toenail pain from wearing work boots for 10+ hours per day. My wife gets color and all the stuff important to her. She's picky but always satisfied. Next week will be our last visit, not because we are unhappy. We are moving back to Montana and wish we could get the kind of service we've always recieved here. read more

I don't usually write these reviews, but today was extraordinarily irritating. Getting my nails done is a twice a month project for me. Today's experience in the nail shop was so unpleasant; There was only a few people in there at first so it was nice and quiet until the two owners came in very loud, right in front of my station, what seemed like screaming at others in the shop, and banter back and forth that was loud and disruptive. And this went on for quite a while. They made such clamor to what should have been a calm hour and half for their patrons it was so disheartening. Maybe the other customers didn't mind this but for the time I spend doing something for myself and spending a great deal of money doing it, I would expect more decorum and calm and pleasant experience. do not go to this place unless you expect an arm and a leg for a manicure you could've just done it home. I asked for a cat eye it is literally just plain nail polish with glitter on top. I got eye rolls and shit. Talk and belittled shout out to J and r in chino my main guy who never lets you leave dissatisfied. And this place does nothing but false advertising and belittling you if you don't like their work, they tried to charge me extra for nails that were already shaped that just needed to fill. Located in Prescott AZ, this is a nice mail salon conveniently located in a major shopping center near my gym Anytime Fitness. They accept walk-ins. Sometimes it's a long wait depending on the time of day. My first visit there, the nail technician got frustrated with me & got up & walked away; the manager took over to finish my nails. The second visit was better. They did a great job with the dip powder nails each time. To avoid a 30-40 minute wait it might be best to call & schedule an appointment before going in. read more

This is the absolute worst nail salon I've ever been to and will 100% make it a life mission at this point, to tell people NEVER to go here. I walked in and asked if I could get a fill and a repair. I was asked to wait, which I did and I did not have a problem waiting... when I finally got seen, I explained my one nail had a crack in it and needed to have a new tip put on. I was basically told by the nail tech "no, he didn't have time" which didn't make sense but, this was only told to me AFTER he started removing all my polish and taking the acrylics down to do the fill. I then showed a picture of what I wanted done and explained I wanted Gel polish with black ombré and black and white marble... I was told this could be done and that was it. However, after the first person saw me I was told by him that I'd have to go to another person to finish, again did not really bother me at first until some one else jumped in and said she'd be doing them..no one really seemed to care about doing my service at this point but I kept trying to get thru the service since they didn't even start my fill and just shredded my nails up so I basically couldn't just leave. I was pretty much screwed at this point and the end result is not even at all what I asked for, even with showing pictures and trying to accommodate what I wanted with the nail tech, it took almost 2 hours to even finish my because of how poorly she was doing them and even after I kept telling her I didn't like what she was trying to do (it was being done so poorly) Then getting laughed at by the person doing my nails..yes, actually laughed at. She showed another worker the horrible attempt at the ghost design she did and they legit were laughing loudly and talking to other workers in the salon who then were also laughing..even if I couldn't understand what they were saying, I knew she was making fun of how shitty the design was. I felt so embarrassed and just genuinely upset I just wanted to get out and not even try to have her fix it since she couldn't even do the original idea I had in the first place. To top it all off when I went to pay I had to wait 2-3 minutes and finally ask how much it all was she quietly tried to tell me she wasn't charging me for something and my total was $45 and then had the audacity to ask if I'd tip...I definitely did not. They're so awful looking I'll be paying to go somewhere else to get them fixed in the next few days. This place not only does shitty work, they definitely do not follow proper cleaning and sanitary conditions in regards to the health board regulations..it's sad that they can even have a business open at all. read more

I hadn't had a pedicure in a very long time and I came in and was treated very respectfully. I liked the young lady that did my pedicure and was surprised at the royal treatment I got for the money I paid. I only do the top treatment once or twice a year but it's so worth it. The third time I went back all the pedicure chairs were full and we were all talking and laughing. I actually had great time every time I have been there. I highly recommend this place! read more

Please read this, I will give them a one star because the technicians were good, and they cared about their work. The owner who told me his name was "Ching -Chong"( not his real name obviously) is very dishonest, and tried to over, charge me until I called him on it. I was getting a flower on my toe and on my nail and I wanted them to match and I made a comment that I didn't think the lady knew what I was trying to say because there was such a language barrier (the owner, turned around and said, if you don't think we understand, you NEVER come back!) it was at the end of the day so he could've been tired, but to yell at me in a place of business after I just paid them $80 plus a $10 tip equaling $90 is absolutely absurd. I have known several workers there for over a decade and I've always been encouraging to them telling them their work was good never complaining when this happened! I said excuse me what did you just say? Because I couldn't believe my ears just be warned the customer service is horrific from the male owner. What he said, brought me to tears I've never been treated that way ever in the 20 years I've lived in Prescott. Very disappointing and upsetting. STAY AWAY from Prescott Nail Spa by Fry's on Willow Creek unless you want to be treated the way I was tonite. JUST WOW! read more

After several appts at Prescott Nails, I will NOT be returning!! I've been very specific with my needs & have shown photos of my desired "pink & white" finish. I even went as far as providing the powder given to me by my long time nail tech in another state. At first, Lilly seemed to take pride in her work but as time passed she became sloppy. My nails became inconsistent in appearance. If I tried to remind her of my wants she became annoyed. Today was the last straw. I went in for a new full set & while taking off the old set, Lilly ripped a bit of my nail causing it to bleed. The pain caused me to jump & I'm positive everyone heard me yell, ouch! It obviously didn't phase Lilly & she never apologized. It appeared that she was not in a good mood & just didn't care. At this moment I told Lilly just to give me a manicure instead & my pedicure. In response to other reviews, Lilly's husband, Joey is annoying making jokes with everyone. One of my girlfriends stopped going to Prescott Nails because of his attitude. He's not funny as he thinks he is & can be insulting. I highly recommend NOT going to Prescott Nails!!! I will NOTreturn. read more

As a former salon owner, the first thing I check is the cleanliness of the salon or spa I'm patronizing. I didn't see a single towel out of place! Aside from soft music, there wasn't a lot of extra talking allowing me to relax fully. (Is there such thing as a noise-phobia?) The mani/pedi was just as one would hope...no blood shed. Technician did a good job. No better or worse than any other decent tech. My only complaint is I didn't care for the nail paint selection. My experience here was absolutely horrific! I had acrylic nails removed, and the manicurist refrained from soaking the nails prior to removing the acrylics. He caused a ton of pain and damage to my natural nail. I was in tears when I left. I called the next day to share my experience with the manager and he was more concerned about his reputation in the community and if I was going to spread a bad word, rather than any concern over my experience and refused a refund. Many have had a good experience with the salon, however, I will not be going back. My husband returned the next day to speak with the manager who agreed they did not do proper technique. I have come to this nail salon a few times. And sometimes I will honestly say that I haven't felt that I got treated the greatest. But I am giving this a absolute FIVE STAR rating, all because of one person, Lily! Lily is absolutely amazing. Not only is she so very kind and just an enjoyable person to be around in general, but she can do ANYTHING you bring to her from Pinterest, any ideas you may have... she's got it. She's the go to girl at this nail salon! And I will go back time and time again, for Lily! This afternoon I went in to the salon with my mother and my two young daughters, whom are very well behaved and love to get their nails painted. First there was a man who was removing the gel from my nails. I asked him questions and he was quite rude about it. And of course I felt very upset about this. But I don't argue, I just go with it. Because I'm not the type to argue with an employee. I wanted an ombré style, which I've never had. So thankfully the wonderful Lily came to the rescue! She did BETTER than the photo I showed her. AND she painted both of my toddler's nails. And they felt so comfortable with her. She treated them just as she would any customer. I just absolutely adore her. If you're looking for a place that has someone that can do ANYTHING that you bring to them... I highly recommend this nail salon. BUT, you need LILY! I walked in with a positive attitude decent looking not specifically very clean but nice. I went in for many petty first time here. The girl that did my pedicure spoke minimal English. But that's part of the course isn't it. I choose a Deluxe mani pedi with a gel manicure. The young lady did a 1 minute massage on each leg massaging only one side of the leg and did it did about 20 seconds of the hot rock. I got the scrub and that was run stuff in a few seconds leaving residue behind my knees.. I asked her to clean underneath my nails she did not understand me. And said there is no nail polish to clean. I again had to reiterate what I wanted done. Nails were polished and I moved on to the manicure. I told the young lady I did not want her for my manicure. I wanted somebody else and I told that new lady I wanted gel In the same color. She started doing everything for the manicure and then when it came to doing the paint job she told me I did not have to put it under the light. Because it's regular color. The fan would just do fine. I paid $71.00 And she continued on with the same Polish. I told her no I wanted Joe and I needed the light turned on. She said well I did not charge you for gel, at that time I was pissed off. As my nails were drying they were I don't even know how to say it. I'll just take a picture and show you. The new owners are rude and very loud and not funny. They talk badly about their customers in Vietnamese. Not professional and cannot keep their technicians. They are not the same as they were under the old owners. Some of the technicians are very good just DON'T use the husband and wife team. They say there are the new owners! They are not polite to most of the customers! Their work is also very poor in quality!! What goes around comes around as their salon is not mostly empty. I have been going to Prescott nail Spa since October of 2021. ( I know not that long) but I went in for a repair on a set I had gotten from Bliss Nails. Lily took such good care of me. I am a return regular now. I make my appointments before I leave each time and I always show up on time as they are always busy. I don't ever wait more then 5 to minutes. Lily does such a great job taking care me and I never have to go back for repair. I have had pedicures done there as well and they are fabulous. Comfy chairs, all kind of massages, plus if your short like me they have a lot of adjustable options. I am always treated like family when I'm there. read more

Yesterday was my second visit. The first time I only had a manicure. But needing a little TLC today I decided to get a mani/pedi as a treat. The gal was a little more careful after I said ouch when working on my toenails. But she never worked on my rough heels, so they still look awful. Not worth the $30 that's for sure. Then my nails. Wow. I asked for them to be cut to match the shortest one. But she cut that one FIRST and then cut all the others so now most of them are shorter than my fingers. Plus when she asked if I wanted them rounded, I said just barely. And they are all VERY round and look stupid. The cuticles are ragged yet and not neat. I only wanted clear polish. She gave me ONE coat. Not worth the $20. I did give her a $5 tip, but I probably shouldn't have. I thought I had finally found a nice place to go to on occasion. Guess I was wrong. I'll keep looking. Worst nail experience ever. I had an appointment but that didn't seem to matter. The owner did my dip nails. He was distracted and did a very quick job. He didn't remove the old dip completely. My nails ended up very thick. They were chipping within days and barely lasted a week. Dip manicures usually last at least 3 weeks for me. They don't do the best job but it's okay. One guy is always hurting the cuticles and doesn't care. He is so slow. The whole place talks about people in Vietnamese and think it's not rude. It's rude Prescott nails. Stop it! They rush from person to person then you sit there waiting for the third or fourth person to finish your nails. No warning. Not very happy with my experience at all. They did not practice adequate infection control and not all the staff was wearing a mask. There was one man, when I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. The lady working on my husbands feet was incredibly rough even after he stated he has sensitive feet repeatedly. Then they used a menthol lotion on me after I told them I was allergic to menthol and to please use a regular lotion. The staff made us very uncomfortable and didn't listen to us at all.
