What a fun and quiet place for brunch, coffee or drinks! Ideal for parties of 4 or less as seating is limited with the largest table. The decor blends perfectly and does a great job of communicating what this place is about. If you want boring, run of the mill foods, find a different place to eat. OMG everything thing I tried, whether my wife's omelette with potatoes, my dad's farmers breakfast, the kids pancakes, or my Huevos Ranchero tasted of fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection and perfectly balanced. The omelette was brightened up with Swiss cheese and large ham chunks with a great smokey maple flavor. Potatoes had a good seasoning without being overpowering. The kids pancakes where large and fluffy, have a good aroma and had a slight orange zest and vanilla flavor. The farmers breakfast is large enough to share. The scratch biscuit was large and fluffy. Everything just Medes well. The Huevos Rabcheros Waac on point! I would say it is probably some of the best I have had in the past couple of years. Bold flavors, a good amount of heat but didn't leave me feeling heavy. Perfection. I followed up brunch with the coffee special graham cracker latte. Definitely a dessert drink. My daughter tried it and liked it. Tasted all the flavors of a 'smore. The downsides: the largest table top is a 4 person, they didn't have a liight blend coffee and they forgot my wife's jam; they did bring it when promoted and apologized repeatedly. I am really enjoying Press and Plow's new (to me) breakfast menu. We have had it both through delivery and purchasing at the restaurant. The quality does not suffer either way. My favorite item is probably the breakfast burrito. It comes in a wheat tortilla with eggs, potatoes, chorizo, pepper jack, pico, sour cream, guac, and a roasted salsa. This is a large burrito, and it's a knife and fork job. Would not recommend eating this on the go. The ingredients are of high quality and the salsa is really good. I've had this more than once and will absolutely get it again. The ham and cheese croissant is also a repeat order for us. This is basic, just ham and cheese baked into a croissant daily. I recommend getting it heated up a little bit so the cheese is warm. If you need something quicker they have breakfast tacos that are rolled up kind of like a large taquito. So, they aren't very big, but they are good. Bacon, egg, and cheese is our favorite. Really glad this spot opened up near us and hope it's here for a long time to come. HIghly recommended. read more

I should probably go with a 3 star rating but I'm giving a 4 based upon the menu items which I admit I have not tried yet! I find the food menu unique but I've only had coffee here twice. I love the ambiance and comfortable atmosphere inside and the service has been decent but could be better,I kinda find the employees a bit robotic. The Atmosphere was really cool and their food was delicious. The wait time wasn't too bad for a Sunday morning. My mom's food did have to get sent back because it wasn't right but the waiter was super great and nice about it. They have wonderful lattes as well. Definitely suggest their Honey Lavender Latte. The pluses: The coffee is excellent, including their espresso drinks. I've also really enjoyed the croissant sandwich, breakfast burrito, to-go tacos, and a few other items on the menu. The staff are delightful. The negatives, and I think these all come down to ownership/management: At weekend breakfast, the place is overwhelmed. The servers are spread thin. We also just got two breakfast burritos both missing key ingredients (the chorizo!!), so the kitchen is overwhelmed too. The coffee prices are outrageous, even for great coffee. A few other options nearby for cheaper and as good or better (take Prelude). I think they're charging $2 for alternative milks. Maybe that used to be justifiable, but c'mon, even now after prices have dropped?? TVs: why do Norman restaurants have to have tons of massive TVs everywhere?!? Not only this place, but it would boost the vibe and ambiance of this place so much without them. read more

The food has been excellent every time. I have not gone back because they have a young male waiter that wore I stocking cap over his thick long hair. He takes it off sometimes where they make the specialty drinks and shakes his hair all about and then puts it back on. Disgusting and a health hazard. If I go back I hope they have let him go or he has found something else to do. He was also more interested in talking and trying to hustle the female staff instead of waiting on guests. Sad cause the food and drinks here were awesome. Ask for another waiter if you get him it will save you some frustration of poor quality service. I have never sat down here, mostly just use the order ahead/delivery features which are timely. I absolutely adore the variety of syrups for this location. Many places only have basic sugar-free flavors, but that is not the case here. It would be better if it didn't cost $1 for a splash of dairy alternative in a cold brew, but that might be more of a bug in the system rather than their own preference. I love their gluten-free muffin selection, but you can tell they sit there for a few days. It's very hit or miss on how they will actually be texture- and taste-wise, but the carrot cake is to die for on it's freshest days. The service is not overly inviting, but not rude by any means either. There is no adherence to masking or social distancing in this building, though They have a lot of beverages in the coolers as well which is refreshing - all sorts of new things to try! read more

I stopped by on my way back from OKC heading home to DFW, based on Yelp reviews. My server was lovely and always masked. Three of her fellow service staff was not. I have no idea why this would seem like a good idea during a global pandemic? It is required in this city (I looked it up). The atmosphere was nice and cozy and my tomatoe basil soup and grilled cheese were great. This rating would have been a 4 if they cared enough about their customers and their own staff to follow local health requirements and wear masks. read more

I was surprised to see that there weren't a lot of local brunch offerings in the area after I met with some girlfriends. The Yelp reviews for Press & Plow looked promising and the photos made it look cozy. My fellow Yelpers did not lead me astray. Other than waiting a little longer to order than we deemed necessary, the rest of the experience was great. I ordered The Breakfast platter. The sausage, egg, jam and avocado were delicious.
