When opening the bag, the beans did not smell fresh at all, but rather stale and it seemed like they had not been properly stored. Very disappointing!

It was a small shop, but still had good seating. I ordered a prickly pear espresso tonic and got a bag of beans as well. I had a great interaction with the barista and she recommended me some good beans to take home. The tonic itself was very refreshing, and I was happy to have it on one of the hottest days of the year up until then. Lovely vibes and the coffee is great. I think I want to come back to try their other espresso-based stuff to get a good gauge on how a flat white or cortado tastes. Turns out, they use the xBloom for the most consistency in their pourovers. I don't mind that at all. I think it's the first time I've tried an xBloom, and it was pretty darn good. Then a few moments later the gal from the back slammed it down and yelled "POUR OVER THANK YOU VERY MUCH" I prefer to support local but I don't prefer passive aggressive attitudes. A customer is allowed to ask questions it's called communication. My local spot can do five pour over coffees synonymously in four minutes flat at a better price point with no attitude.
