Tried a new coffee shop today and got my first stamp in my coffee passport! Loved the vibe here, it's super cute inside and plenty of parking which is always a plus. I ordered an iced tres leches latte with oatmilk and it was definitely on the sweeter side, but yummy. I also grabbed the GF banana nut muffin and it was delicious. Friendly staff and overall just a really nice spot to hang out or catch up with a friend!

Cute little coffee shop right off the 202 freeway! There is outdoor and indoor seating. Lots of options to choose from and if you can't decide the staff if friendly to answer any of your questions. The coffee is yummy and they also have refreshers to pick from. Would absolutely return again!

Stopped in for midday coffee on a Thursday. A few folks hanging out. It was raining the day I went so the patio was not usable although it looked nice. The interior is small, but has cozy feel. The service was friendly. The menu consists of the coffee shop standards plus a lot of speciality and seasonal drinks. I was in the mood for something simple so I opted for an Americano with a bit of whole milk in it. Drink arrived promptly. Had a nice, mild flavor, did not have an acrid or bitter flavor on the back end. All in all, a nice Americano. N*joy!

Deseo is super cute inside and the food is delicious. My husband loved his empanadas and I wish I had ordered that too. My breakfast sandwich was good, but not exciting. He also really liked his drink (we both got the iced Canelita latte) but it was a tad on the sweet side for me. Overall I would come back but beware, this is truly a shack so the seating inside is really minimal. We were lucky and got seats at the counter but at times there were so many people waiting that it felt a little overwhelming. There is outdoor seating but not much shade.

This coffee shop is in a plaza with a pre school and other businesses. There is parking available and they have seating inside and outside/ their kitchen is right next to the shop and they have a few breakfast items. I tried their chilaquiles weigh barbacoa and a fried egg with green salsa. This was a very mild sauce. Not spicy at all and the meat was soft and cooked perfectly. The mazapan latte was very good. Not super sweet but just enough. You can also taste the espresso which I absolutely love. The staff was very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back

We love a female Latina owned business. This spot is hidden but if you know you know. I met with a friend for coffee around 9 and it was packed at 10. Great spot for catching up with friends, remote work, etc. the staff was so friendly and helped me with the menu. I got the mazapan iced and it was delicious, they even gave me one of the little cookies. My friend got a matcha. There is cute outdoor seating too

I met up with a friend here for coffee on a Sunday around 1130a and it was pretty slow, but it definitely picked up between then and 1230. The Mexican/southwestern themed decor is fun, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The drink menu is pretty simple, and they also offer pastries and breakfast sandwiches, tapas and other breakfast items. There were also some fall specials listed on a sign outside. I ended up ordering the pumpkin snickerdoodle cold foam cold brew and it was great! I can't wait to come back and try some of their food items!

Ambiance: 4/5 Coffee: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4.25/5 This was a great coffee shop. We came just as it opened and it got really busy! The coffee was great and I recommended the chocolate croissant. I will be coming back here!

Came back w second time and ordered a specialty drink called the Tres Leches latte and it was excellent and I did it iced. Ordered food too and the green chile elite Mac and cheese was also really good. A great door and quick service Cure coffee shop tucked away they gave working space inside and outside.

Been going to Deseo for 2 years now and we love this place! Our fave food is the El Paisano (although a tad spicy for me). This day we tried the Tacos de Papa, which was good and filling. Only comment is that we wish it was traditionally folded like an actual taco. The way it's folded made the potatoes spill out to the side. Otherwise the flavor was gooood! I always get the same coffee at all the places I go to (honey oatmilk latte). They make it pretty close to perfect! Not too sweet and not too milky. It's a small cottage and they have a very cute aesthetic. I love the art all around. But if you plan to sit down to enjoy your coffee or food, don't go during rush (lunch/ breakfast).

Such a cute Mexican American coffee shop. I loved the decor, the service and the vibes. I got abuelita chocolate and my friend got a latte and they were both amazing. I also love they offer breakfast items like chilaquiles. The tables outside are super cute and plenty of space to sit and enjoy coffee. If you're in Phoenix area I definitely recommend. 10/10

SO glad I chose to stop by this coffee shop after arriving in Phoenix. Small but mighty, everything from the decor to service as well as food and drink quality was superior. Highly recommend the breakfast empanadas!

Super cute interior and patio area. Had to snap a picture of their fun seating outside because I thought it was unique. The coffee was great, I ordered their Canelita latte which is their top seller and it was great. Definitely check this coffee spot out!:)

Came here for lunch with a friend on a Saturday, had a good time! (Drinks in photo not from here)…read more I enjoyed my Cast Iron Egg dish, the shallot (or scallion) cream sauce was the secret winner, but I may want to try something new next time. My friend enjoyed the Pork Chili Verde dish. Portions are decent. We sat outside, which at noon in May is a bit warm, but we eventually moved to a shaded table and that was enjoyable. They have lots of fans and misters outside too. I also picked up a strawberry rhubarb and coconut rum cake for my parents. They loved the strawberry rhubarb, but they said the coconut rum cake was a bit strong on the rum (it tastes exactly like Malibu if you like that). Overall had a good time and would go back, staff was friendly despite it being busy.

A friend of mine suggested this spot for a mid-morning breakfast, and I hadn't been here in years…read moreso I agreed. I read that their parking lot fills up quickly but that there's a public lot across the street, so I parked there and crossed over. This cozy restaurant was fairly busy and we perused the pastry case while waiting in line, lots of tempting treats. My friend ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which are topped with blueberries. A lot of their menu items have pork in it, but they were good about substituting. The burrito usually has schreiners chorizo, hash browns, cheddar, sunny egg and chili oil with side of salsa verde. I asked for avocado instead of the chorizo. We brought our own drinks so didn't order any. We grabbed a table on their patio since the sun wasn't over our heads yet. It's nice out there and I think they have some fans going to keep the air flowing, and there was also a natural breeze. Our food came out and they were plated beautifully. My burrito looked good, but it had too much hashbrowns and also there wasn't any chili oil, which was a bummer. Maybe they normally put it on the chorizo so they forgot to add it to my avocado. The egg was runny which I like: The salsa verde was delicious; I love cilantro and it had great flavors. I tried the pancakes and they were fairly rich but I liked the tart lemon flavor and the blueberries, one of my favorite fruits. This is a nice place to meet up (small groups) and I'm glad I visited again.

I visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, just missing the late morning rush, so I had ample options to choose from regarding seating (there's couches, tables, stools)! As a first-timer who loves specialty coffees, I inquired about which drink might be the sweetest and best suited to my tastes, and through shared decision-making, we decided on the Azucar Morena! It's comprised of brown sugar and molasses, which satisfied my taste buds and coffee fix. There wasn't a wifi password sign anywhere, but upon inquiry, I received it and proceeded to chill for an hour or so before closing. I loved that they kept the door open to let in more natural lighting and fresh outside air on that serene Sunday afternoon. Overall highly recommend this coffee shop for delicious, unique specialty coffees. I can't wait to return to try more, including the pistachio espesso and cafe de olla! I've been frequenting this architectural marvel for over 10 years. While so many new shops try to mimic this vibe, none of them are Lux. Lux is King! The 11-Year Flashback: I looked back at my review from 11 years ago when I docked them a star for the "nightmare parking." Back then, I was a "to-go" only person who never envisioned myself as a laptop-hipster hanging out. Well, times change! I'm bumping them up to 5 stars now. Maybe it's the new competition nearby or my better timing, but the parking is a breeze, and I've officially embraced the "comfy chair" lifestyle. The "Cheers" Factor: What really sets this place apart is the people. After a decade of visits, it truly feels like Cheers--where everybody knows my name! Getting to know the folks behind the counter makes every visit feel like coming home. The Sip of the Night: I shifted from my usual plain Cappuccino as my target drink to include in a review to feature their Espresso Martini. I went with a Reposado base instead of the typical vodka, and it was stellar. With two full bars in addition to the coffee and pastry bar, craft drinks truly abound here! (Note: they have an amazing cappuccino too) The Comfort Classics: You cannot leave without the food. My go-to favorites? The Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese and the legendary Chocolate Chip or Red Velvet cookies. Return Factor: 100% I've been coming here for a decade, and it's still the gold standard. As I said in my review 11 years ago: "I see a book, comfy chair and cocktail in my future! Stumble home... Repeat."
