Press Coffee Roasters is definitely the type of place to study as opposed to meeting up with friends. The atmosphere is very quiet and work-oriented. I liked their chai tea latte - unlike most other coffee shops which usually just add cold milk, they actually frothed the milk, giving the drink a very smooth and velvety texture. It was wasn't super sweet, but actually flavorful and not too milky. I also had a chocolate muffin, which I liked a lot. They do have half off baked goods, which I appreciate since they're not creating so much food waste. Overall, Press is a bit out of the way for me and slightly overpriced for the quality of the product. However, I would return for the nice working environment and delicious chai. read more

Great coffee shop located in the Skywater Apartments! The staff was extremely friendly, the selection of coffee and tea was extensive and the space was very comfortable - great for studying or a meeting. I love this spot! I come here often and do homework as it is never too busy and their coffee and snacks are great! They are a bit expensive, BUT, there is free parking and there is no time limit which to me is nearly priceless in the area of Tempe. I really enjoy coming here and I think the atmosphere is great and easy to focus in. It is kind of hard to find the first time because the only way you can enter is from the light that leads you into Skywater apartments if you're headed to the airport direction wise. There is adequate parking and always room at tables even when it gets a little busy. read more

I have been coming to this Press Coffee location for over a year and they have been fantastic! The staff is always accommodating which I really appreciate. The nitro cold brew coffee is very refreshing and something I enjoy regularly during summer. Recently, I have taken a huge liking to Dirty Chai lattes, and Press does a great job! Their Dirty Chai lattes are a great mix of flavor, not too milky, coffee is smooth and chai is just right! I normally get the hot Chai, but during hot weather, I switch to iced which is just as good! Now, this is where it gets even better for this location- the food! Recently, they have expanded their menu to include fresh made items, and oh wow is it good! Their avocado with feta, tomatoes and bacon it great, and their breakfast burrito with egg, cheddar, sausage, potato and pesto is out of this world! It is one of my favorite breakfast burritos! I was skeptical at first.....a coffee shop that makes food like that.....but oh wow! Don't pass them by- their coffe is great and this location's food is delish! read more

This place is usually pretty empty but I can't figure out why. The location is a little tricky the first time you go, but easy enough to find. There is plenty of natural light inside so it's nice to hang out. Oh, and the coffee is great. Highly recommended. read more

Great coffee. The cold brew is rich and smooth. I also love their lattes with whole milk and no sweetener - it's frothed perfectly and the subtle sweetness from the milk makes for a delicious latte that's not filled with sugar like most places. The environment is hip and comfortable but not very big so if you were to plan on a coffee date there with someone there may not be a good spot available. read more

Every bit as good as their Scottsdale Quarter location. Products are consistently good between both locations which tells me their baristas have all been trained properly. Such a great shop! I like to call this one a little hidden gem, I don't understand why this place isn't packed all the time! The service is outstanding, all the people I've met are super knowledgeable and they don't make me feel bad about wanting flavor syrups in my coffee! I was going to give them 4-5 stars because i love their burritos and cold brew. But I ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee from uber eats from the Tempe location of Press. It was $20 which is fine but I called the coffee shop to ask them to include some cream for my coffee. They said they do not include cream on Uber Eats orders so he could not do that for me. I just paid $20 for a coffee and breakfast burrito. That's not great service. read more

Michael took our order this morning while we waited for our flight to board. The Grand Canyon burrito was delicious and the coffee was good but something other than the food REALLY stood out...the service! Michael was so friendly and energized this morning and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. (Could it be the coffee??) I live in the SkyWater Apartments currently so they are a stop for me largely for convenience. They have a small menu for food but it serves up your standard American breakfast fare. The coffee is great and they sell their cold press coffee in bottles. My old office had a cold press coffee machine so I've always been a fan of the stuff. It's a good way to start the day with a light breakfast and some nice iced coffee. No frills and certainly not particularly special but serves its purpose. read more

Wow - super surprised at the rest of these reviews! As a resident of the apartment complex, I have to say that I am highly disappointed in this location's customer service. I love their food and tea and usually am treated very well at the Scottsdale location, but for some unknown reason my husband and I are being targetted by the Skywater Press staff. I didn't want to have to write this review, but Press deserves better than their current staff. The young girl with the thick/dark eyebrows and the man with the glasses and beard never look up when we are at the checkout counter and we practically have to beg for their attention. No "thank you's" - ever, or "have a great rest of your day!" They make going there seem as though we are an inconvenience and I really don't know what we did to deserve the eye rolls!! Although I LOVE their green tea, I have been accosted several times when I come in and ask for my tea refill, which has made me super hesitant to spend my money here at all. I am a bit confused because it is the company's policy to give a free refill the same day of purchase when you bring the cup back with the receipt. Overall - dirty looks, lack of eye contact, and poor customer service is what I have received over my 7 months living in the building. You'd think they would be a little kinder to the residents who are probably more than half of their customer demographic. I'd love to know what I did to offend them! read more
