These guys are great. Real pros that know their stuff, and not afraid to do the real work. They…read moretook the time to understand the problem, did their investigation, very thorough and took the time to explain the issue. I am no plumber, but these folks are, and they were gracious with their time, and explained it all, and provide options, pros vs cons, best practices, and did not once pressure me to make a decision. Mark, Eddy, and Mike did a superb job. They had no bias, and gave me all the facts and options to make my own decision. At the end of the day, I feel like I can trust them. Real pros. Arrived when they said they would, did what they promise and even more. Fantastic experience. If you want a plumber you can trust.. look no further.

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

If you're looking for a dependable electrician who actually cares about doing things the right way,…read morecall Mr. Moore at 1st Class Electric. I don't usually write long reviews, but good work and good people deserve to be recognized. From the very first conversation, he was professional, patient, and straightforward. He showed up exactly when he said he would, walked me through everything step-by-step, and made sure I understood what needed to be done and why. No pressure, no "mysterious" charges, no talking in circles -- just honest information and fair pricing. You can tell immediately he takes pride in his craft. He worked efficiently, kept everything clean throughout the process, and double-checked his work before wrapping up. When he finished, the space looked better than when he started -- and most importantly, everything worked perfectly and safely. Electrical work is not something to gamble with. It's dangerous, and the wrong person can make a bad situation worse. Mr. Moore is the real deal -- knowledgeable, trustworthy, and extremely thorough. It's rare these days to find someone who brings skill, professionalism, and integrity all in one. I will absolutely be calling him again for future work, and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants the peace of mind that the job was done right.

I've been working with this Rashadd since November 22 to install recessed lights. His first visit…read moreto install he stopped mid-work and told me he wasn't prepared. He asked if he could come back another day. During his first visit, he made this huge hole for the lights but decided it would be better to put the lights in a different spot. I agreed. He promised to repair the hole and it would look like the hole was never there. He asked if he could come back to repair it. He made several appointments to come back but something always came up. I knew then he didn't know how to fix it. When he finally came back, his attempt to fix the hole was HORRIFIC!! (see pictures) He then said he would pay his contractor to come back and do it. During all of this, he wanted me to pay for everything in full, even though he had not finished the job. I refused, I had already paid him a deposit of $100 and would not pay a dime more until the job was finished. He contacted me 5 times asking me to pay him before the work was done. Even today as his contractor is working to repair the hole, he is STILL trying to get me to pay him before he finishes. Be careful, he lies a lot. He even claimed he couldn't keep our appointment because he needed to take his fiance to the ER. He took a picture of her laying on the floor. (Looks staged to me - who takes a picture if it's an emergency with your fiance?) He also rescheduled because he had a flat and also took a picture of that. ‍ It hurts me to leave the review because he is a young black man trying to create something for himself.

The installation of my HVAC unit was completed professionally, and the installation team did an…read moreexcellent job. Unfortunately, my experience after the installation has been disappointing. Since the unit was installed, it has consistently struggled to maintain the thermostat setting, with the indoor temperature remaining meaningfully above the desired setting. I requested a service visit to troubleshoot the issue and remain hopeful it will be resolved. What has been most disappointing, however, has been the lack of communication. Despite multiple calls, emails, texts, and attempts to reach my salesperson, I received no response and ultimately had to visit the company's office in person to speak with the director of installations. Thankfully, he was very helpful and arranged for a technician to come out. For a $10,000 purchase, I expected a much higher level of post-installation customer service, especially as a long-time customer of 10+ years. I will update this review to reflect how the company responds going forward and whether this experience is typical of its post-purchase support. I also hope sharing my experience helps other prospective customers understand what they may encounter after the installation is complete.

They came yesterday to replace the whole unit, took out my still working unit. Then they couldn't get their new unit to work. My family have to endure the heat wave now for two days. They promised to return saying the new unit has a defective part. And today they called saying they have to reschedule because their tech was sick. Am sure if I was short on my payment, they would not accept my excuses. BTW they are going to say they can't find my account in their system. That's their favorite response.

My parents used the same electrician for 20+ years and that is because he always did a great job,…read morewas reliable and they knew what they were getting. Of course, back in those days, one would just randomly pick someone from the yellow pages, as there were no review sites, just refers from those you knew. Today, times have changed, but not everything, when someone is good, you keep using them, especially a electrician and car mechanic. On with the review.... [ Introduction ] When my wife and I purchased our first house we just wanted something within our means and that meant getting an older house built in 1969. Everything was original and we needed bathroom fans, dryer outlet, a new oven and new stove cooking top. We hired one of those big companies and a guy name Matthew came over. He knew his trade well, was reliable and explained all the details, which is exactly what I liked. I love details. [ First Service Job ] Matthew installed the fans, oven, stove-top and dryer outlet. Of course he had to look at the electrical panel that was located in the "garage" to turn the power off and he noticed that our particular panel was a older model that was prone to cause fires (burn down a house) and that was scary to hear, but he explained why and I had him replace the whole panel. We just had our first child and obviously did not want to chance it. We had a Federal Pacific Stab-Lok electrical panel and I researched (as I do with almost everything) that roughly 90% of houses built from 1960-1980 had those installed. Many houses "burned down" because of them and yes, Federal Pacific is out of business! (if you don't believe it, look it up yourself) After Matthew replaced everything, the house looked great and we stayed there for a couple of years. I kept his information for future work and just recently discovered that he went the family approach, after leaving the very well known electrician company. [ Second Service Job ] We moved into a much newer house after having our second child and needed more light in our bedroom as it was extremely dark. I called Matthew and he came out to look at what we needed, shared his ideas on what would look the best and he went from there. He installed 6" recessed lights for the centre and 3" adjustable recessed lights on the outside of the ceiling. The lighting turned out beautifully and now finally, we have light in the room. [ Prices ] The prices are extremely affordable when comparing to other electricians and he does a great job at explaining the costs upfront. What I really like is that he does not over charge on the material, something others like to do. You pay what he pays for the material + the labor, which is exactly how it should be. Others should know that this type of work is not done by the hour, because every job is different. This job was completely different than our other house. With both projects, Matthew was never pushy about sales, he was very honest and upfront and that is very rare these days. [ Coming over ] Matthew came dressed as an electrician and he wore those shoe slip on cover things, which is great, because it shows he is professional and cares about our carpets. Now if only those Comcast cable installers would do the same thing. [ Licensed/Insured ] I already knew what I was getting the second time I called, but still it is good to know that others who read my review know these guys are state licensed master electricians and carry special insurance. As you can imagine, my regular car guy is a master mechanic too. When it comes to your house, or car, you want someone who knows what they are doing, not some amateur. [ Conclusion ] Finding someone who treats your home/car like it were their own is no easy task. When I deal with either one, I always want someone that is a master in their trade, so I know they are competent in doing the job right. Matthew at Plugged In Electrical Services always does the job right, he is honest and has probably saved my families life (no joke) when he changed out that dangerous panel. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use Matthew as our electrician for as long as we live in the state.
