We came here about an hour before they closed on a Saturday night. We were celebrating a birthday in our party of 8. We opted to sit outside due to our large party and there was only one other party seated outside. The owner ensured someone was helping us and getting a table ready which was very nice of her. After ordering, the issue we had was with how long it took for our food to come out. When it did come out it was not all together. It was a very long wait for the food with only the charcuterie board coming out timely. After about an hour of waiting, the waiter informed me that in fact they don't have lasagna available and I needed to pick something else at no charge. I chose a pizza and had to wait long for this too. We had to wait a long time for dessert and our party was ready to go, and had to wait long for the check. All the waiting around really soured the experience which otherwise had good tasting food. Not sure what happened tonight with all this waiting but I can't give more than three stars even though the food was decent. read more

The chicken pesto sandwich was like eating shoe leather. We expected it to be grilled but was deep fried into oblivion. So dry and tasteless. This restaurant is high end and expensive. The atmosphere is lovely. Our server was very attentive. Highly recommend paying $9 for the bread. Our pizza - the hot honey - was heavy on honey and light on cheese. It needed mozzarella not just a little goat cheese. The crust was tasty but we skipped the bringing leftovers home. The caprese avocado salad was good but ours didn't have any mozzarella in it. Others at our table ordered lasagna, which they loved, bland tortellini and an amazing salad with shrimp. The high point of our meal, other than the lovely atmosphere and attentive service, was giggling about a memorable bruschetta appetizer that looked like tomato mush. We came here for a weekend getaway, this place wasn't on any of our recommended lists, but we saw it from the highway and did some research. So glad we ended up here, casual but inviting vibes, great outdoor seating, rotating menu, great wine selection, great service. The owner even came by and talked to us for a while. All in all a lovely experience. Would gladly recommend to anyone coming this way! Get the Tortellini Quatro Formaggi with the pesto sauce instead of the Parmesan cream. This place is a gem! The atmosphere is open, bright and inviting. There is ample seating and we were actually told to choose our own seats, which I liked. There was so much on the menu that looked good. I really appreciate an authentic experience with Italian, especially because pasta is overdone, cheap and just not good when thrown together. This place has all the goods! Pasta is clearly handmade there. The plates have unique flavors and pairings. I couldn't decide between the meatballs or the salad so I got them both. The plates were small enough I managed to finish them both absolutely fantastic. I'm a big meatball person. We are Italian and meatballs are one of my grandmas specialty's. Large parties beware! First of all, we were seated outside. Which we were not made aware of when making the reservation. If we would have been told of this, we likely would have gone elsewhere. Okay, we sit outside. Meanwhile, there were ample seats inside that our party could have been sat at. I do understand sections and all, but our experience outside was less than ideal. No fans, no music, ants, horseflies, etc. some of those you can't get rid of, okay. We go to pay, after an hour of sitting outside and we find out that the check can only be split 4 ways. Once again, it may have changed our minds. Maybe not, but it would have been nice to know PRIOR to asking for the check. We were also charged a large party expense (20%), which we weren't made aware of. I think there's lots of room for improvement here. Maybe I'm used to big city, high end experiences, but there's lots of room to BE that. But they aren't there yet. read more

I really wanted to like it here more than I did. Our server was very sweet but they were very understaffed and it was super slow. We were there almost an hour before we got our salads and appetizers. Cheese bread was great. Bruschetta and meatballs were just okay. Tomato basil soup was good and chicken Caesars came with no chicken. The entree took so long we just canceled because we were already pretty full. Cute place and wish we could have tried the pasta. Maybe another visit would be better. Ours was unfortunate. read more

Absolutely loved our dinner at Pressa! Not only was our server so kind and when out of her way to take care of us, but the food was so good. Somehow it's a great spot to dress up and have a cute date or casual dinner after a day in the sun. We got the homemade focaccia which was insanely good, as well as the brussel sprouts, pizza and lasagna. 10/10 loved all of it and will be back. Side note, the bathroom so super cute. read more

This was a pretty disappointing experience. One single waitress was the only staff we observed during our entire lunch. Multiple tables were seated and she was having to seat them all, take and bring drinks, take everyone's orders, bring out everyone's food, and buss every single table in between all of this. I felt terrible for her. She brought us a few of our dishes and then stopped to buss a table, because the rest of our food wasn't ready. 10 minutes later some more of our dishes were ready, so she brought them out. Still we didn't have all of our food. Half our table completely finished their meals while 2 people still didn't have theirs. I eventually walked up to the counter to ask about it. The waitress was obviously fighting back tears (I don't blame her) and said our last dish was almost ready. I told her we were all finished eating, could she just box it up, which she did. I don't know what happened today with staffing, but a manager or someone should have been there to either help her out, or close the restaurant. That one girl couldn't take care of 6-7 tables on her own and shouldn't have been expected to. The food: pizzas were greasy, pasta was so overcooked that it mushed up when trying to pick it up with a fork, bruschetta bread wasn't toasted at all so turned soggy under the tomatoes. The good: location is very pretty, the waitress was very nice and sweet despite being complete overwhelmed. read more

My husband and I decided to eat here on our last night in town. When I say the food was excellent, I do not exaggerate. Veronica was our server and she was fabulous and when we were torn between two dishes she suggested what she would pick. We got the bruschetta appetizer and it was phenomenal. For our entrees, I got the parmigiana chicken and my husband got the lasagna. The lasagna is the best we've ever had! So different but amazing. We stumbled on this place looking for a coffee shop in the same center and came back for dinner. Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and amazing food. I had the Pollo Al Marsala and it was the absolutely delicious. The wine suggested by our server was perfect as well.
