Personally I don't like sugar in my coffee--if it's good quality and properly made, it should be naturally sweet. Either the beans they use were stale and over- roasted, or the barista did not pull the espresso properly. That's just a small critique. Great lunch spot, will go again!

Their teas are good (same or a bit better than Kusmi) but not as good as Camelia Sinensis. The very best thing about this place is that you can order green coffee beans (they have about 40 varieties to choose from). I significantly prefer roasting my own (forget the $300 coffee roasters and use an old popcorn popper) as the taste of a freshly roasted and ground coffee doesn't compare to anything available in the coffee shops. The prices vary from fair to expensive. The staff at the store is sweet but it seems they have permanent ''trainees' who aren't very knowledgeable about the various products. If you want large quantities of roasted coffee or even smaller quantities of green beans (1Kg is the min.), you really should either email or call them at least 24hrs ahead. Otherwise be prepared to wait 20 to 45 min. for your order. They also have a website (http://www.terracaf.ca/index.asp) you can place orders above $25 from. ----- CAUTION : LOL...After a couple of emails received from friends who read my review and tried roasting their coffee I figured I should put a warning here.
