Went to Creme de La Creme in a pinch as my usual spot was booked. I made an appointment online…read moreabout 40 mins before I walked in and waited ten minutes past my appt. time to be seen. I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect, but ended up being very pleased with my Dazzle Dry manicure. The price here ($25 + tip) is great, though they don't have an extensive collection of colors. My nail tech, Ana, was very meticulous and gentle. I could tell she takes great pride in her work. I appreciated her not being heavy handed (especially with cuticle work) as I've had less than optimal experiences Uptown. My manicure looks fantastic and I am optimistic about it lasting. The only thing is that if you care about aesthetics and friendly reception, C&C might not be for you. It is very cramp up front and doesn't have much of an entry way. You'll bump into the nail tech stations as soon as you walk in. Your back will also be to the door. Service isn't super friendly as everyone is working and minding their business. I was grateful that Johana acknowledged me and gave me some direction, as being a first timer I wasn't sure if I had to check in or whether my nail tech was in the back. Overall, I would visit again. Making appointments online is convenient (they charge a $20 deposit used towards your service and a $2 fee to book) and I experienced quality work.

This place is what I think of as "get a little less than you paid for." I've been here twice now,…read more and my sister comes a lot. The space is small and crunched in and there aren't a ton of colors to choose from. The first pedicure I got there was ok, and the second one looked good but there was blood coming out of my cuticle when I was walking home. None of this is that noteworthy really, but pedicures are $35, and I paid $22 when booking the reservation, then, they also charged my card $16.33 at the end. Which equals $38.33. I don't know why, maybe a cc transaction fee? I brought it up with the woman but she deflected my questions and I just decided to pay and leave. This really rubbed me the wrong way. This is in addition to them looking at me like I'm a Martian when I walked in both times, with a reservation. It's an uncomfortable vibe. They talk about customers in front of other customers, rolling their eyes etc. Idk I've never enjoyed my time there is I guess what I'm saying, but they do get the job done. Also they do not take credit card tips. It's 2025 - it's time to use technology because not everyone uses cash these days.
