The name says "cleaners" but it should just be called, "pressed and put in plastic". If you have ANY sort of stain, there is a 99% guarantee that it will still be there when you get your garment back. Something as simple as a pen mark or some dirt or coffee are way too advanced for this place to remove. I will never go there but my wife does from time to time. Even when the stain is pointed out when the garment is being dropped off, it will more than likely be there when you get it back. This place is very cheap which is why it does so much business. But all that volume, I suspect, is the reason why they dont clean anything. Most people just grab their stuff and go but if there is a stain that you want removed then you better check twice before you leave. Every single time I have gone in there, there has been a customer complaining that their garment was not cleaned properly. IF YOU NEED CLOTHES ACTUALLY CLEANED THEN STAY AWAY FROM HERE. read more

Horrible. Had a stained shirt and pair of pants cleaned and stains were lighter. Brought both items back for no charge, but stain on shirt was worse and pants were no better with 2 creases in one leg. Will never use them again. You get what you pay for. read more

I thought the store closed at 7pm on Saturday like it does mon-fri. so i got there at 610, the doors werer open , customers in store and was informed that they were closed and they weren't going to serve me. I said I am in the store and only need to pick up shirts no drop off ( I need the shirts for work on Monday and you pre pay so no money has to exchange hands). Manager said we are closed come back Monday. I told him if he doesn't serve me and I have to come back Monday it will be the last time I come into the store. now for the most classic response from a business person I have ever heard. he said " who cares?" apparently not management of pressed cleaners of merrick. I only spend max 25 dollars a week there so it will have no impact on their bottom line but just wanted the owners to know why a customer from the day you opened will no longer be one. it was the rudeness of the manager not the fact that I cant get my clothes. read more

After picking up my clothes I noticed that the clothes were not cleaned they still had stains so I brought it to the attention of Jefferey who claimed to be the owner but would not give me his last name and was very rude. I told him THE BODY ODOR LEFT IN THE CLOTHING FROM A NIGHT ON THE TOWN was still PRESENT in clothing and he said the dry cleaning solution does not take all smells out of the clothes. I ask them to re clean the clothes or may they return my money. After an hour of dispute and they made me sign a waiver for any damages that may come like discoloration so they will not be responsible he agreed to re-clean. THEY ARE THE WORST DRY CLEANING BUSINESS AND THE OWNER IF HE IS THE OWNER HAS THE WORST RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS. DO NOT USE THERE SERVICE YOU WILL REGRET IT IN THE LONG RUN!!!!!!! read more

First time customer. Pre-paid. Brought in sweaters, pants and a wool scarf. When picked up garments and brought to residence: had to take off numerous 'laundry tags'. My wool scarf had manufacturer tag so the laundry tag was attached via a safety pin. My scarf (vintage and very expensive) now has a hole in it. I returned to complain and to have 1 sweater 're-pressed'. I went to pick my sweater up the next day. It had not been re-pressed. I spoke to the manager about my scarf. I left the store. Then I went back into the store to request a refund for the 're-done' sweater. I was told 'my account was suspended'. Therefore: no customer service at all. No attempt to do right by me. Obnoxious assistant manager 'waved to me' smiling.Do not support this business. read more

First let me say I have absolutely no problem with the dry cleaning of any of my garments, and I have been using them since they opened. That being said, when it came to a stain on the collar of a white shirt I brought in to be laundered I asked if they could spot the collar and remove the stain before they laundered and starched it. I was told they could, I left it and when I picked it up I looked at it and it looked as if it was never touched. I pointed it out to the manager and he looked at it and immediately informed me that the stain would not come out unless I took it home and did it myself since they were "green cleaners". I asked why I wasn't told that when I brought the shirt in and that there were no signs stating that anywhere in the store. He said "I don't know". I said OK I will do that and bring the shirt back to be starched and ironed. He immediately said " you have to pay another $1.49 if you bring it back". I think that since he recognized me as a regular customer his responses were inappropriate and uncalled for. He should have taken responsibility for not informing me it would not be clean if laundered when I brought the shirt in and the lack of signage. I still feel that the dry cleaning is fine and without problem. read more

Based on the strength of the positive reviews here, I decided to bring 80 items to be dry cleaned, as a new customer. (Yes, I know I should have tried this establishment out first before bringing so many items in at once; yet, I live in Queens, and the commute makes it difficult to not drop off everything altogether, especially when the values this company claims to uphold are expected). I am now sorting out each item, and I am DISGUSTED and quite horrified with the below sub-par quality of work here. I have yellow/orange stains on at least 14 of my items, which do not come out with water. Moreover, my clothes were absolutely much cleaner BEFORE I brought them in to this establishment. I could never wear what was returned to me to work in a business setting; the size of the stains can be seen from across a long hallway. I will finish sorting out the rest of the items during the weekend, and rest assured, I will take the time out of my busy schedule to inconveniently commute back to Merrick, so that my clothes are re-cleaned, pro-bono. I anticipate watching the process of which these and all items are handled, and expect them to dry CLEAN my clothes while I wait. I refuse to return to this "dry-CLEANERS" again, and advise those individuals who were on the fence about going here, to learn from my mistake and choose another establishment. If you only could see the condition of my clothes afterwards: full of egg yolk-y stains, wrinkles on material that was pinned in the wrong places and will never return to their original shape, three holes on 2 items (possibly more), lint, dust, debris, and color fading, you'd be embarrassed to trust this "professional" place of business, which should be doing their job (WASH AND DRY CLEAN AND REVIEW EACH ITEM WHICH COMES THROUGH THE DOOR!), just as I am. Why the employees, or the managers, do not look over each item before placing them on hangers, I will never know. However, I will keep y'all posted when I return with the horrible job on at least 14 pieces (and that's being generous; I am sure I will find more, as I am now looking at each item top to bottom, which should have been included in the service business this place prides itself on). I am extremely disappointed in this business, and am not paying the amount of money I did (over $150) to have my clothes re-cleaned by someone else. The true measure of a good business is in their quality of work, their professionalism, and their ability to correct mistakes and take accountability for them (i.e customer care). I intend on resolving this matter with a supervisor/owner when I haul back out to Merrick on Monday. read more
