I understand dry cleaning is expensive but $220.36 for 11 Old Navy and GAP maxi dresses is excessive!

Ant infestation and no AC. Machines have been broken for months. Employees not so friendly.

I've come here for years to do my laundry. It's usually pretty decent, however, after my experience today I will not be spending my money here again. To start off I was using 2 machines to wash my clothes. I set a timer as per usual then came back when the timer was up. When I went to the machine I was confused because the cycle wasn't even close to done. Then I realized my items were removed from the was. Okay my fault I thought maybe my timer was set too late. Then came the dryer. I made sure to set my timer correctly then waited the 30 minutes to check my clothes. When I walked back in 2 of my machines were still drying clothes and one had been taken out again. I was confused because sure maybe it finished however i had gotten there within 1-2 minutes of the dryer finishing. I checked my clothes and they were still soaked. Most of the dryers are out of order and the ones that aren't out of order are just plain useless. Not to mention the individual working there today was extremely rude. She decided to say something in spanish about me to a man she was chatting up. I guess she didn't realize my first language is spanish. Anyway if I could've rated my experience a zero I definitely would have. Do better read more

My first dry cleaners lost a shirt and didn't seem to care thst much about it. My second dry cleaners went out of business, but were good . So I tried vjag cleaners and so far have been very satisfied . Their prices to launder mens shirts are most reasonable and they do a good job. No complaints. Turn around time is a little longer, as I think the shirts are done at a different location. But I would recommend. read more

I come here very often. The owner is super sweet. Such a nice guy, but every machine is basically broken between the washing machine and the dryer. I just wish they would get it fixed because I'm usually here for hours because it's so busy and there's not enough machines for everyone to use Other than that. I can only imagine how expensive they are to fix but sometimes I feel like I have to look elsewhere because this is a continuous issue. read more

The place a very spacious and big that's a plus. The price is also good and the have bunch of fans to accommodate the heat. The machines are really old. It doesn't even have a timer, also putting the quarters in a machine is a little rough. Wanted to give 3.5, it needs a little update to give it a more cleaner feel. Terrible laundromat. They don't enforce masks. The employees don't wear masks. Half the machines are run down or just don't work, constantly just eating your money. There is no hot water, tried to use hot water multiple times in the day and over dozens of washes and it was never even warm. Heres the worst part, I left a review like this before and the owner harassed me to remove the HONEST review, and yelp responded to the owners side, completely disregarding the rights of free and fair speech, in this case those rights are an honest review. Its negative because your business is not good compared to the competition down the road, you can change those things I mentioned but don't deny the truth just because its not what you want. Since the owner is obviously to immature to take reviews seriously and yelp has no option to respond to him I will have to make my response here.. Last time I was there was in November 2020, sorry I dont take exact dated notes of when i visit laundromats and to ask someone that is a bit ridiculous. I asked your employee to wear a mask and she looked at me like she had no idea what i was saying. Im glad you think I'm pathetic because again you obviously cant handle honest reviews when they are negative. Its no surprise you lie about hot water since a lot of other reviews mention it but keep bullshitting us. Bullshit account? Why because it was comprised of things you don't like? Instead of driving a $70,000 BMW you should update your machines. They still accept quarters in 2021 and they don't even accept those quarters half the time because the machines are not maintained. Bad service for sure. My bill was not rung up correctly, they didn't know how to honor the yelp coupon, I had to do the math about the discounted price. I came in 2 days after my dry cleaning was to be ready. 2 pants were missing and not back from the plant. I was asked to come back on Saturday. Mind you, this is close to my work and not my home. I wasn't going to drive an extra 30 mins on the weekend and I needed the garment for next week. I then came Monday and my 2 garments were still not there for pick up. I then asked for a refund on the cost of the dry cleaning for those items. The next day when I came (over a week from the date it was supposed to be ready) I was told to pay!! I've been coMing to Vjag laundry for a few years now, and today cut ties for good. usually a little slow with their pick up times as they take dry cleaning to another location, they will staple the tag of for your clothes into the fabric creating holes. can't communicate with the employees as their native toungue is Spanish. but the real issue is if they lose something of yours and why I'm cutting ties. Staff had switched my grey pants with another lady's workout pants, (ah well happens right) I bring her pants back once I realized the confusion and asked for my pants. They didn't have them in the store and had to track it down.Left my number with the worker to expect a call from the owner. The owner who initially called himself Steve, told me that it would be no problem and that he'd have my pants back no later than Friday (it was a Monday) and if no resolution atleast give me a call. one week had past and hadn't heard anything from "Steve" so I call and he answers and says oh Joe I'm sorry she's on vacation and will be back tomorrow. we'll have the pants for you no later than Weds and I'll give you a call if not. another week goes by and no call back, had to call them again but this time they aren't answering the phone. So naturally I *67 and call again instant answer from the owner But this time it's not "Steve" . I annoyed ask for Steve, Anthony states he's a partner in Vjag and hasn't heard of the problem and to catch him up. So I did thinking I'm talking to another owner. I being annoyed that the process has taken three weeks with no call backs asked for a refund, and restitution if they cannot find the pants. They were 250$ pants once he heard that Anthony perked right up saying woah woah woah that's not right playing buddy buddy, asked if he can call me back later with a resolution. Reluctantly I said yes and said if I don't get a call back I'd be irate. he calls me an hour later saying we will refund you for the service because we lost your pants and he'd now take lead on the lost pants. No suprise after hearing that it'd cost him 250$ in restitution, he got the pants to me the next day. Now to pick up the lost pants, they tried to charge me again for the lost pants. after arguing with the staff I said call Anthony and finally let me take my pants after already paying for them to be lost. Now the messed up part, since I thought I was talking to one of the owners I appreciated him jumping in and finding and having the next day, I offered instead of a complete refund comp my next dry cleaning, implying I'd happily return for future services, he agreed. Now to today picking up my dry cleaning that was supposed to be "comped". Now that the pants situation was rectified Anthony changed tunes. now he says no I offered to comp one pants for you, I'm in the business of making money, and I quote "not losing money or people's clothes." Than goes on to say "well why would I not refund you 35$, when I could have kept the 250$ pants. That's when he lost my business. I just said you know what Anthony I completely understand you have a good night, not realizing that 34$ is nothing compared to future earnings do right by your customs and they take care of you, that's not this guy. I hung up paid full price and asked if Steve works here to tthe staff and responded Whos Steve? So if you're speaking to a "Steve" it's really just Anthony. Needed to have my sheets, blankets and towels bc washed it was 9:30 pm. I found them on YELP and called the number. I spoke to Anthony who told me they can get the job done. He was nice and friendly and told me that he isn't working but to to talk to Thania and she would help me. Thania was AMAZING! She was very friendly and answered all my questions. Our washer broke and went to VJAG. When I got there, they were very helpful and directed me to the appropriate washing machine that would handle all our laundry in 1 load. They also helped me get change for the machine and let me know how long the cycle would be and when it would be done. I would definitely recommend VJAG foe self service or full service laundry. read more

Been coming here for years. Staff and owner are nice and do try to make customers happy. But what is the issue with the hot water? The last two visits when I bothered to check if the water was coming in hot it was cold! I questioned this and was told the hot water is shut off at 6pm ????? They closed at 9pm when I questioned this. Makes no sense. And shouldn't an obvious sign be posted about this? Hot water seems to be an issue here as this was a problem in and off the last few years. UPDATE I waited a week before posting this figuring I'll go early in the day next time and see if there is hot water. So here I am. Was told the hot water was on. It's 12:50pm. Is it on? NO. I doubt it's ever on. Time to move on to where I'm not lied to and I can clean my clothes properly In response to Anthony: I am offended that you would think I am lying. This was my experience. I am free to discuss it. I've mentioned the lack of hot water several times to employees and those were the answers I received. I'm at the facility during the times you say the boiler is on. Each time I DID test the water in the bathroom as I wash my hands after putting in the dirty laundry and NO hot water. I also checked the water that was coming into the washing machine during the wash cycle because that is when I have to put the rest of the detergent as I use liquid. I'm sorry but that is my truth. Perhaps the boiler needs to be checked during the day? I don't know what else to say. I gave it many chances. I hope the situation clears up and wish you happier customers. read more

I was a little nervous to drop my coat of at just any dry cleaner but I'm glad that I found this place. I had spilled a smoothie on my Canada goose coat and was afraid it'd be stained forever. When I came in, I was immediately greeted by Anthony who was very polite and took the time to introduce himself. He reassured me that he'd be able to take the stain out and had it done for me by the next day which was so convenient. The price to have it dry cleaned was only about 13 bucks which is a great deal in my opinion. I'll definitely be back . read more

I use their drop off and pick up for laundry, which costs $1/lb. It's more expensive than other places in Queens, but some of the bad reviews of the places in Queens scared me off and I decided to come here because it's close to my work and I was recommended this place by a coworker. Service has been good, and the folding has been decent sometimes, and great other times... I think it depends on who folds it. This would be five stars if the folding was great every time. Overall, happy with the time it saves me and I'll definitely keep going. read more

This is one of the better laundromats that I've used so far. Prices are reasonable and the machines seem well maintained. Never once had a problem, yet. It also seems very popular too and I can see why. Just as a note, because of this, come in on weekday mornings, that's probably the only time you won't have to fight for space. read more

What a treasure to find!!! The absolute best customer service - I had just been discharged from the hospital and truly did not know which way was up and to even think of getting any laundry done when still feeling so ill - doing laundry was not even a possibility! I called and spoke to Anthony the owner- he was here in 30 minutes picked up my 2 large bags of laundry and told me they would be ready to be dropped off by the next afternoon! Very nice staff and lots of machines with all the necessities available for laundering. I have only been here for tailoring and dry cleaning so I can't comment on the machines, etc but there's always people in here. Competitive prices, it was costing a fortune just to hem some pants at my old cleaners... the life of a 5'0" shorty isn't cheap lol. dry cleaning ~10$ for a formal dress; normal hemming of denim ~12$ and I'm satisfied with the work. They always attend customers quickly. They could benefit from cleaning up the dressing room they have - it is not clean and there's a lot of clutter in their making it hard to access and fit in, if I wasn't so small I would not be able to change in there. I usually just measure the pants at home and bring them in already pinned so I can avoid using their changing room so it's no biggie for me. read more

After looking at a couple of questionable finds I came across VJAG. I decided to give them a try. It also helped that there was offer on Yelp for $30 for a $50 voucher and a 15% Off coupon. I had never used a drop-off laundry service before, because I have always had a washer and dryer. I spoke with the owner, Anthony, when I dropped off and picked up the clothes. When you speak to Anthony, you INSTANTLY realize that this is an owner who cares about his business AND his customers. Needless to say, I got my laundry back neatly folded and separated. Every sock folded with it's match, and my button-down shirts hanging and pressed. If you're looking for a laundry mat, give VJAG a shot. I brought a comforter to clean as was too big for my washing machine.. 3 out of 4 machines do not take quarters & when I finally found one that would, 2 quarters I put in did not register. So I let the lady know that & that 3 machines were not taking quarters. She proceeded to tell me the machines had to be closed & locked (like I didn't already know that) & suck a pair of scissors in the slot of my machine & than told me I don't see a problem. I advised her again that they went thru but did not register. I than got a shrug of the shoulders. Like I really wanna break their bank of .50cents.. will never come here again!!!! I came here to get my coat dry cleaned because it was close by and the reviews looked trustworthy. Although my coat was a bit linty, the owner reassured me that it would be cleaned and returned to me the next day. Well, I did not receive it the next day but instead three days later. The owner did not answer any of my phonecalls and when I showed up to the laundromat they never had the coat. I kept being told each day to come the next day after 7pm to check if they had gotten it. When I went to pick it up finally, I was pleased to find out that I did not have to pay for it, which was kind of the owner to do. You should be aware that if you are going here to dry clean your clothes, they send it out to a third party dry cleaner. It is not done at the place itself. read more

I brought in 20 lbs of laundry in 3 garbage bags and it was returned to me clean & folded in one big clear plastic bag. You can't go wrong for $1 per lb. When I dropped it off I met the woman but when I picked it up I met the owner. He's a very nice person and he will get all my laundry business moving forward. read more

Literally the worst don't even go tbh. I went there twice and both times my machine half ass washed my clothes. By half ass I mean literally half of my clothes were dry and half of them were wet in the same machine. When I asked the lady she just looked at me cause she did not understand. This WAS our go-to laundromat for a number of years. The owner, Anthony, and his staff were always friendly and handled laundry to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our clothes a few weeks ago and have since been playing a game of cat and mouse with Anthony. Our clothes were returned to us with splatterings of ink on almost each article. We were shocked that they were folded and given to us in that condition. I left Anthony a message and we spoke several times to try and figure out what happened. Finally, he asked that I bring in the clothes for inspection and I obliged. Upon inspecting the clothes, he agreed that something went terribly wrong and could not pin point whether or not it was his staff, a machine problem, or a pen that may have been left in the machine prior. He offered to send our clothes to the cleaners to have the stains removed. I appreciated that he was trying to fix the situation so I said no problem and didn't argue. He promised he would call us in a few days once the clothes were ready. No phone call. I wait another day and leave a message with no return call. I call again and he gives me the excuse that he rec'd my message late.... Yet still another day had passed and he didn't bother to reach out to me? He then says they should be ready the next day and promises to call. NO CALL. We are now into the THIRD week of this and my husband has left messages with NO RETURN CALLS. Where are our clothes??? If the cleaners could not remove the stains, we still deserve to know and get our damaged clothes back. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I continue to call Anthony and leave several messages.He finally returns my call and apologizes with the excuse of having been away. Finally, we scheduled a time to meet so I could get our clothes back and discuss how to settle. When we met, we had another conversation about all that had transpired. He apologized and offered compensation for the damage to which I accepted. The matter was resolved, but I am disappointed that this experience went sour so quickly. read more

First time customer. 20 lbs of sheets and pillow cases. My linens, and they are NOT inexpensive , were washed in soap that smelled cheap. They must have been over dried in VERY hot dryer and left there for some time. Good linens always state, "dry warm or low or medium" and remove immediately. My previously smooth seamed linens were now horribly wrinkled with unfixable "puckered" seams. I complained and Anthony said he will wash and fold again. I didn't think that would help since the damage was already done. I was right. My lovely guest linens are now ruined !! Never again V-Jag. read more

I love this laundromat! This facility is clean, well lit, and quite large. Even when it's busy, it's never been an issue to find a machine. Their drop off pick up service is amazing! Bring them your dirty laundry and they wash, dry, and fold it for you, and even same day! It's an excellent place! The staff is friendly and they even pick up and drop off! I have a washer and dryer, so I mainly use them for their excellent dry cleaning and their drop off wash and fold service when life gets hectic. I love this place! read more

Overall EXCELLENT service! The owner Anthony, is so personable and friendly. The staff always greet me on a first name basis (even after a few months of not going because we moved from the area). My clothes are always perfect and they smell amazing!!! My kids can tell what has been washed at home because I cannot find their secret. All I have to say is amazing. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with a smiling face and they listen to what you want, unlike most cleaners who listen but do what's easier for them. I would highly recommend V-Jag cleaners. The thing that I liked the best is no hidden charges when you picked up your laundry, the price they gave when you dropped off was the price you paid.
