I went to Marisa to essentially have my entire dress rebuilt. I purchased a bridesmaid dress a couple of months ago for a wedding that is next week, and I lost a significant amount of weight during the time in between, but I didn't have enough time to purchase the dress in a smaller size. The dress had fit me almost perfectly when I ordered it, but now I was swimming in it - it looked so ridiculous, it was falling off me, now at least 2-3 sizes too large. I read Marisa's amazing reviews and decided she was the best person to see - and she really was! She had to hem the dress (I'm very short, so this was going to be a necessary alteration regardless of the way the rest of the dress fit), take it in from the sides, and tighten the straps. She really had her work cut out for her, and I didn't give her a lot of time to get it done, but she was so kind and accommodating the entire time. She is just a lovely person, and she did such an amazing job. I picked it up last night and the difference was astonishing! The dress looks like it was made for me in the first place, it fits me so perfectly. I was overcome by the amazing work she did, and I can't recommend her enough. She is so talented and so incredibly sweet. I'll be coming to her for all of my future alterations, and after seeing the difference in the dress so will my mother! read more
