Quite apart from the lovely greeting I get every time I visit, this drycleaner has a magic touch and manages to clean even stains that I think are there for ever. I do live and work quite nearby, but I would make the trip to Sidney to have them care for my fabrics. Not that Fletchers is bad, but I don't live on the West Side anymore and they don't deliver. They even make special delivery time arrangements for me since I don't have a doorman and am not at home 90% of the time. As Ali G. said, they do business deliveries, too. However, it should be noted that they ONLY service downtown Vancouver. They come from North Van and once they cross the Lion's Gate, ain't no more bridge crossings in that driver's itinerary...

My Farm Rio dress was I'll pressed, I'm away and am now worried about it also shrinking in size. Although the third garment is wearable, it too did shrink and the colours ran. These are all items that have only been worn a few times and dry cleaned with success in Vancouver. They now smell heavily of detergent, like they were just thrown in a washing machine without care. Total losses are well over $1200 for me. Worst dry cleaning experience ever!

I took a chance and came! So glad they were opened on Christmas Eve. They will open until 4pm. Wash takes 25 mins and 38 mins to dry. Total about $12.60 CAD. Make sure to put a timer so you know when to pull out or claim your laundry. Though it was coin laundry, you can ApplePay and they will give you the necessary coins, $1 CAD for detergent, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My washer has been down for about a year now, but honestly, being able to wash what would be 4 loads at home in 25 minutes, means that I don't have to spend the day hanging out at home. It's more cost efficient to do it there, putting 2 loads in 2 double machines then bringing it home to dry. And with a grocery store and coffee shop next door (and a pub) I can get the wash in, run to the grocery store to pick up a few items, back to the wash, load it into my car and home in under 45 minutes. They also offer laundry service if you are in a hurry or just hate doing laundry.
