I had been meaning to try this place for awhile now. The first time I went, I got the pork boat noodles. They were so delicious I had to go back to get them again. And again. It's now my end of the workweek staple. The spam musubi is delicious and so is the Japanese waffle dog. The service has been fast and my order has been correct every time. I've been getting orders to go but next time I will dine in because it has a very light and welcoming atmosphere. I want to try all the desserts! They have bubble waffles! read more

Lovely couple who were great and fast with the food. I like that they have games to play available if you want to hang out with friends and the variety of items you can get. They have vegan options, savory, and sweet, as well as delicious drink options. My husband got the Khao Man Gai Tod and it was so tasty! The breading is amazing and the chicken was so tender and juicy. He really loved his dish. I ordered the Khao Soi and she asked how spicy I wanted it, I said 4 out of 5 and did not think it was spicy at all but when my husband tried it he started coughing right away hahaha. I was there when they opened at 11:00am. The husband & wife that run Tiny Tasties (Mr. & Mrs. Tasty?) arrived then too. I was a little surprised they weren't there prepping for the day but they still turned out some tasty food. I wanted to try the dessert waffles so got the Tom Kah soup so I could tell myself I had something good for me for lunch without being too full. But the bowl I was served was quite big! I managed to eat all the chicken, mushrooms & onions but not all the broth. It was very flavorful. "Mr. Tasty" was paying attention and timed my waffle to be ready when I finished my soup. I ordered the Mocha Waffle, which had mocha ice cream on top with caramel syrup and chocolate chips. I requested chocolate chips rather than the peanut butter chips that were on the menu description because I thought it went better. Mr. Tasty cheerfully honored my request. The waffle was yummy and I rolled out of there feeling full and a little guilty for eating all that. The price was a little high in my opinion so bear that in mind. Expect smaller portions. Nice to get a few to share. I loved that there were cards and games around to play while waiting for our food. You order up front and pay right away. The place smelled like cooking oil and we left smelling like it, otherwise very clean and the 2 people working were very friendly and happy to accommodate vegetarian options for me. Tiny Tasties is a great spot to grab food. Lots of variety in the menu. The egg rolls were delicious, included a great mix of veggies and wonderful texture inside and out. The yellow curry was flavorful and rich. The beef noodle soup had a yummy broth, my only complaint was the beef was tough, so I don't think I would order that again. I came here because it made Yelp's Top 50 spots to check out in PDX. It's really close to my home and I've seen it around, but I didn't realize what a gem it would be. When you first walk in, you feel like you just walked into a small hole-in-a-wall restaurant, but that's what I love about it! It gives a very mom-and-pop run kind of feel. When the food comes to you, you realize that everything looks and feels homemade. I loved that everything I had wasn't too salty, as most restaurants tend to be, and flavored to perfection. The price points are also extremely reasonable and their portion sizes are large. This will be a favorite spot among my friends and I, and we'll be back to try more items. read more

Stopped in just for dessert and it was delicious. Decided to try the fruit bubble waffle with fresh fruit. I couldn't decide between what flavor ice cream I wanted, but the young lady working let me try a sample. I ended up going with green tea ice cream and it was so good. The perfect amount of sweetness. The bubble waffle comes with whipped cream, 2 Pocky sticks of your choice, a sauce of your choice (Nutella, condensed milk, chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, peanut butter, or caramel) and you also get to choose 2 toppings (different fruit options, certain candy options, almonds). For my bubble waffle, I went with Nutella for the sauce, green tea ice cream, strawberry and banana for toppings, and chocolate Pocky sticks. They even gave us complimentary taro chips while we waited for our dessert. I remember my mom used to make them when I was a kid and it brought back lots of memories. The staff was quiet, but friendly. And the restaurant was very bright and very clean. They had cute little decor along the walls and up at the front near the cashier. They serve savory warm dishes, salads , flavored drinks with sweets. We were greeted as we entered, very nice and helpful. I ordered a Papaya Salad to go. My grand-daughter ordered her favorite, a Milk Tea. She says its the best she's had. We also picked out 3 Macaroons for $5. Overall, my Papaya Salad with medium heat in flavor was cool, fresh vegetables in a clean delicious dressing was perfect. I was given to choice to have with Noodles or not. I liked that option. This is a new spot across from Walmart. It's very clean as you might expect with a new restaurant. They explained it's a fusion between, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese. The strawberry lemonade with rainbow jellies was delicious. Small flavor filled jello balls with pieces of ice sucked through a big straw is how it works. It's served in a to go cup. Yummy!!! The BBQ pork was sooooo tender with pieces of fat for the perfect juiciness. The fried pork was crispy and tender but having the right spice balance. It came with fish sauce. I'm not a fan but you may love it. The vermicelli bowl was awesome full of BBQ pork noodles and veggies with a nice dipping sauce. Now desert time. We ordered two crepes one with strawberries, the other with salted Carmel pretzel ice cream. And two pockey sticks. The crepes was cooked perfectly, a little buttery tasting. Here's a tip, When you finish eating all the ice cream out of the crepe take it out of the container eat the bottom and all the surprises will flow. This is an unpretentious, very clean little sit down restaurant with an IKEA modern look with comfortable green chairs. The ingredients were very fresh, first quality. The servers (owners?) were very humble and friendly. The Tom Kha soup I had was loaded with big white button mushrooms floating in a coconut milk broth and pieces of nice sized shredded white chicken with slivered red and green bell peppers and only lacked a little salt which was remedied with a table spoon of soy sauce. The menu is Asian eclectic. I recommend giving this in unpretentious little place a try. It is a little hard to see next to a dentist office. read more

Editing after we just ordered and learned it's under new management. Would absolutely not order again. We're so sad and disappointed. My boyfriend and I got Tiny Tasties every week, we told everyone about it and spent good money ordering the absolutely worth it menu items. But after ordering today, we won't be ordering again. The wings are completely different. The bao buns are gross, when they used to be our favorite. The bun is now super sticky, when they used to be so fluffy and delicious, and now they're using romaine lettuce and tomato's on a Bao Bun and Bahn Mi?? So weird. Prices are WAY up and quality is WAY down. There's a lot less on the menu as well. We won't be returning unless things change. This was our #1 fave restaurant, I hope things go back to what it was. Since they have small portions that are very reasonably priced getting more than one dish is perfect. What a great newer addition to the East Vancouver/Camas food scene. There have been a number of spots offering boba in the area more recently but not nearly as many offering different food snacks and drinks (including desserts). I've stopped in on a number of occasions for everything from spring rolls and buns to some ice-cream desserts for the kids. No matter what the time was they always provide service with a smile and the food has been consistently good. I think it's important to have proper expectations going in to different establishments. This place has a wide variety of choices that are all great. It's definitely not a bougie gourmet experience. Enjoy the food. Support the community and come back for more! read more
