He argued with me and I requested him to check his video. Then he said the video doesn't show. I insisted and he sent me to his friend's auto body shop who checked the car and he sided with the manager. I drove an hour away to wash my car and the manager treated me like crap. His friend sided with him Up to now my car is not fixed. His friend sided with him. He first told me that part doesn't exist on the market. Then I told him I need to get it from the dealership and he added that am I gonna spend that much money to fix such a small thing?Then I replied why not. Then he argued and said the casing was broken before which was not true. He was already biased since him and the manager were close friends. My car is not fixed up to now but it's just the casing which has to be replaced. So I drive as is. Will never take my car there nor will I send somebody there for car washhing I gave up.

Perfect for any car enthusiast that cares about their car. Once again, it's touchless so don't expect perfectly clean. The whole point of these in winter is to get salt off your car I paid for the best $16 wash because why not. You can pay with card or Apple Pay. When the door opens, the stream of water that cleans the bottom of your car is insane. It's a beautiful fan ensuring complete coverage to rinse all the salt off. The one I have in NY sucks. Then you drive up to where it says and then stop and let it do its thing. Make sure to drive slow out so the dryer can do its thing Here are the results. Once again, not perfect but it is excellent for a touchless wash. Nothing ever beats a contact wash from a professional detailer

(NOTE: All the 1-2 star reviews seem to be about those higher $$$ non-self services.) Will probably become my new go-to carwash place, due to their superior payment machine: you can just tap your credit card, making it much snappier than the old slide-through one at the Somerville Carwash on Washington St where I usually go. More importantly, the timer display is highly visible: nice big 2" tall bright red numbers on a monitor that is slanted in a corner making it much more visible than a flat-against-the-wall display. I just cough up my $6 for 5 minutes, enough time to do the high pressure soap spray followed by high pressure rinse spray, to get the layer of icky road salt off, and away I go. And last but not least, the self service bays are closed at one end, which means you have to back out when leaving, but is quite a blessing on cold blustery days! I would not want to come here during the really busy daytime hours especially when people get out from work, but it does seem to be thoughtfully set up with traffic cones creating orderly lanes for the automated washes, hand washes, and self-service bays---far better than that godawful place in Arlington I tried once. Luckily I always go in the evening after my Y (just 4 minutes away) closes, so no danger of that ever happening.

They always had issues with the self-service bays. Often the soap wasn't working, or the rinse was mixed with dirty soapy water that wouldn't let you rinse it properly. So I am not surprised that they went out of business. However Prestige took it on another level. They raised prices for everything, including self-service bays and... made it worse. The equipment is old and outdated, it barely functions and they ask for way more money now. Also, they shut down touchless bay, so no more of this service for you (if you were looking for it). I am willing to drive 10 more miles just to have a good car wash. Unfortunately, as almost always with Prestige - once they touch something, they ruing it in attempt to satisfy their money greed.

Make sure to wait on the roadside opposite if the lines is too long to not block the road ( someone will tell you that). They are efficient and my car was washed very thoroughly with lots of bird shit and snow. For $3 more, you also can get the interior clean and vacuum. Overall, the soap water initially was using a pressure spray and water was washed by a water hose (lower pressure). But it was gentler than the machines. They ensure to clean the top of my SUV as well which is nice. The interior windows are also cleaned up so I love that small detail. Total price for a SUV (exterior and interior) cost $35 and I gave tips as extra. They take CASH only. Will come back.

I will definitely keep going back, especially given that the inside + outside cleaning was only $30 (+ tip, cash only). I was a little confused at first about where to find this place -- it's located in P2 of the parking garage at 131 Dartmouth. You have to get a parking ticket but he validates it for $5 for 4 hours (usually it's $11 for just 1 hour) - now that I know that, next time I'll try to take advantage of it on a day where I can spend a few hours in the Back Bay. As far as I could tell there is just one guy working here so it's probably a good idea to call ahead or plan to spend at least an hour or so in the area. The guy was really friendly and clearly takes pride in doing a job well done. I don't think you can find someplace cheaper than this, and the quality was as good or better as places where I've paid quite a bit more.
