I hired movers from the Clive, IA location. When they moved the refrigerator, the neglected to…read moreshut off the water to hose for the refrigerator. They knew it was leaking as they put towels on the puddle. I they never said anything to me. If they had, I would have shut the water off. The valve was right there. Then they left. That was 12:30pm. They unloaded the truck at my new residence and never said anything. The scratch up my bedroom door moving a table and never mentioned to me. At 4:00 am the next morning, I received a call from the Warren County sheriff's department. They were trying to reach me about a leak in my unit causing water damage to the ceiling of the unit below mine. They shut off the water for the whole building until I could return to my unit and determine what was leaking. It was the fridge hose still running. There was so much water damage to the unit below That she will have to replace her entire kitchen ceiling. When I called the manage of the Clive location, they said it is not their responsibility and he is not responding to my messages.
