Lack of communication. The option to pay at the end of the job was never given. Was never contacted via emailed/text/mail or by the project manager to be given the final overall total. Received a notice from the state that a mechanics lien was placed on our house for the $750 (estimated) project a week and a half after the project was complete. Then finally received our first statement (and actually total of what we owed) 2 weeks after the lien was already placed. This was a petty move all due to error on THEIR accounting. read more

My sump pump failed over the summer and flooded my basement. My insurance carrier referred me to FirstCall, Greg came out that day and did a great job of explaining the process and putting my mind at ease. As we worked through the process Don Kinder, the project manager and his team did a great job of keeping us informed of everything going on and was extremely patient with my wife and I as we decided to upgrade the carpet to a vinyl plank. Both times I feel like they went the extra mile in making sure we were taken care of and that we were satisfied customers. The most recent experience was after a hail storm. We consequently need to have our roof and gutters replaced. Kelin Black was our project manager and he was absolutely stellar! Great communication, unbelievably speedy at getting the jobs lined up and completed, and went above and beyond the call of duty when he wrangeld a loose dog back in to my yard and turned my hose off after the kids had left it on for God knows how long. We had a fire in our house which did a lot of damage to our kitchen. Our cabinets needed to be replaced, new hood, new backsplash and needed to blend with the finish in the rest of the house which was not an easy task. The team at First Call was amazing. They found our exact cabinets, matched trim, replaced our back splash, and much more. The project lead, Chris Weidman, was amazing.
