I've been a regular customer for two years and have finally had enough. Their prices are outrageous for a 3-day turnaround. Recently paid $48 for one dress with no stains or special treatment necessary, and it took a week to get it back. Clothes often go missing for a week at a time and they don't let you know there's a delay - they simply drop the others off with no mention of the missing items. There are no apologies for late items and certainly no discounts. The amount of plastic they send the clothes back in is incredibly wasteful. Clothes have a musty smell after being dry-cleaned, which kind of defeats the purpose, right? I'll be going out of my way to bring my business elsewhere. read more

Here's the scenario: boyfriend drops off our dry cleaning on a Monday. We are told to pick it up Thursday after 4 pm. I go that day at 5 pm to pick up our dry cleaning. They grab what is supposed to be our entire drop off and try to ring me out. My clothes are missing from the lot. She says "oops it must have gotten separated from the rest" grabs it and cashes me out. Two weeks later my boyfriend is missing a pair of pants...I call and they said they had some clothes of ours still. Come to find out they have those pants and another pair of shorts. I go to pick them up and two more shirts are in the mix that were never mentioned on the phone. They say sorry for the confusion after explaining how hectic the beginning of the week is and that their workers in the factory place items in order by article of clothing and not the actual order itself. She also said that I should have just come a day after the day and time that they told me. $115 later I finally have all of the articles of clothing that were dropped off. Needless to say I won't be using these services anymore. I gave this one star because they do a good job when it comes to that actual dry cleaning. I didn't give it any more stars because it is extremely over priced and there is little to no communication or consistency from their staff. read more

Was in town for the weekend and needed a few items cleaned. Good service, but very expensive. $44 for a suit, dress, and khakis.

I have become fed up with this Prestige Cleaners location. While I really appreciate the convenient location and the fact that they deliver my clean laundry to my home, the hassles have just not become worth it. First, no one is ever in the store, they are always in the coffee shop down the hall so you have to go find someone there, give them your name and your laundry and just hope that they remember it whenever they head back to the store later in the day. It would not bother me so much, but the last time I had to go find someone in the coffee shop to drop off my laundry, I had some very specific instructions for what needed to be cleaned and how. I tried to emphasize very clearly, and repeated myself several times, but she seemed more interested in getting back to her cup of coffee and conversation with her friend. Inevitably, they returned everything I gave them, in the same plastic shopping bag that I gave it to them in, completely untouched. After I went through what they returned, I called and asked if any of it had been cleaned. The woman on the phone (clearly still at the coffee shop based on the background noise) told me that they did not clean any of it because they did not know what I wanted them to "do with it". I told her that I thought I had very specifically explained what I wanted cleaned. She said that some of the stuff would have had to be sent out to be cleaned, as if that were a reason to just not clean it at all. I asked if they had tried to call me to ask what I wanted "done" with the laundry I dropped off (um, cleaned, obviously. I wanted it to be cleaned. That's why I took it to a dry cleaner) or if they needed a number to put on file for me so that in the future they could call and ask any questions rather than just returning the items uncleaned. She said they "probably have it back in the office". About that point I just shut down. It's not worth my effort to force someone to do their job. I will just take my dry cleaning to a dry cleaner who will dry clean them, novel concept! read more
