If you are considering using this business for your dry cleaning, please read this review, I give advice to protect yourself at the end: I brought an unworn Façonnable wool coat that I bought second hand (had sale tags, buttons, and unopened pockets when I purchased it as proof of the newness) here for dry cleaning. I also brought a Façonnable shirt here for tailoring. I thoroughly check clothes before purchasing because I buy lots of second hand clothing and there was no damage anywhere on the jacket or the shirt. When I picked up the jacket, there were two very noticeable holes in the collar. The jacket costs several hundred dollars new and when I brought it in hoping to make a damage claim, the owner told me that it was "impossible" for them to cause damage to jackets and mocked me, asking whether I really thought they could stay in business if they got holes in people's clothing. She then accused me of being the one that got the holes in it, told me that the fabric was super delicate, and that I should bring it back to wherever I bought it. All of this was in response to me stating that it had no damage when I brought it in and that it had damage when I received it. I was not even given a refund for the service. Based on their google reviews, it sounds like this is a common experience for those unlucky enough to have decided on prestige cleaners. The next day, I came in to pick up my Façonnable shirt that was getting tailored (it was finished late, so I couldn't pick it up the day before). The cashier, when she brought it out, told me that I had brought it in with damaged cuffs that were detached from the sleeves meaning the sleeves had holes between them and the cuffs. She said that it couldn't have been them because the seamstress did not touch the sleeves and that "maybe I should look at clothing better before I buy it secondhand." This is a lie. The thread that was used to take in the body (dark black polyester thread on a red cotton shirt) was also in the sleeves and ended right where the holes she accused me of bringing it in started. The cuff was clearly separated to allow for the sleeve alteration and was not reattached. I took pictures of this and brought it in demanding to speak with the seamstress (because the cashier lied to me) and when she looked at it she said "oops I'm so sorry." While the seamstress was apologetic and seemed very nice, it is hard to believe that this all was an accident. I would prefer to give business owners the benefit of the doubt. Everyone makes mistakes. However, being mocked and given no avenue for any kind of resolution to this dispute has left me feeling very disgruntled. If you plan on bringing clothing here, I recommend that you don't. If you want to anyways, make sure you thoroughly photograph anything you are bringing in right before and right after. It might cost you even more than their overpriced services. read more

Presitge Cleaners is located in a busy strip mall, and I have been going to this location for years. The staff is friendly and always accommodating whenever I visit. A few things I've noticed: they can be quite expensive for cleaning certain items, but since I'm not in the cleaning industry, I may not be fully aware of their pricing standards. Additionally, I had a shirt that I wore weeks after it was dry cleaned, and unfortunately, it was damaged. I'm not sure if the damage was caused by this dry cleaner, but it's something I'll keep in mind. Terrible customer service!! I have been using for years than they switched to a new driver who picks up my clothes at 7 o'clock in the morning before I'm even up and can take the clothes out. They could care less one call to complain that I've missed it twice. I have used Prestige in the past and thought they were the best. However, this time, I used them to shorten two Anne Taylor skirts. I bought both on sale for 80.00 each. one a flared chiffon, the other not chiffon but lovely material. The charge for the skirts to be shortened ,I broke her down from 80.00x2 to 70.00 x 2 for 149.00 . Virtually the same price as the skirts. I collected them and the chiffon one was great, but the other skirt was anything but great.!!!! Both skirts were flared and I had left a sample skirt with her so she could see the length. When I tried it on and put the zipper to the back, each SIDE WAS LONGER THAN THE CENTRE. When I put the zipper to the side, the FRONT AND BACK was longer than the sides. Longer by about 3". They said bring it back. I did, this was the second week we were into now. I went back and this time, I inspected it, on the spot.. Same issue and now the short parts were looking a bit too short. I pointed the issue out. Lady said leave it.....I said NO...you are not getting it any longer you have messed the entire thing up. Plus, the hem on the lining wasn't even ironed.!!! I asked her for a partial refund since it cost me so much and I feel I need to replace the Skirt, because the short areas look a bit TOO SHORT. I think she said after the alteration lady sees it. Well, I never thought I'd see myself writing one of these, but after 3+ years of being a customer, I will never come back. Prestige was fine for a few years with minor inconveniences (button popped off, etc), but destroying dress shirts is where I cross the line. They destroyed three of my favorite dress shirts and did nothing to compensate me for it. When I brought it to their attention they did nothing about it. These shirts weren't cheap dress shirts either, two of them (pink and purple) were Brooks Brothers. For anyone who doesn't know about Brooks Brothers, their dress shirts retail for $90-140 per shirt. The third was Roundtree & Yorke Gold Label (blue) ($50). PS, I see what other people were talking about when they said the prices here were very high; they're right in comparison to others nearby. This dry cleaners does not actually treat stains that you point out - this was admitted to me by the man that works there. unfortunately what happens is that the garment is dry cleaned and the stains are set in permanently and the garment is no longer treatable and ruined. They refused to reimburse me for a blouse that worn once. read more

They ruined a very expensive comforter and refused any compensation, including reimbursement for their services. Big discoloration where there was some light spotting. Dealing with the owner was a very frustrating experience where she tried many excuses, including saying she called us before processing (which she abosolutely did not), that they did not use anything on the spots (which is not possible given the discoloration). IT is one thing to make errors, it is another thing to be dishonest. We will use another dry cleaner from now on and we suggest you do too. read more

The women who work at the counter are not overly friendly, but more focused on efficiency and getting people in and out quickly... which is great! I tried a couple other higher-rated dry cleaners in the area when I first moved to PBG... and they were way overpriced. I've been completely happy with Prestige. I told the girl at the front that it looks the exact same as it did when I dropped it off. So she called the owner up to the front and I proceeded to tell the owner that my comforter did not come clean. So she said, "well this isn't going to come clean." My response was, "why didn't you tell that to me when I dropped it off, BEFORE I paid $50 for you to clean it???" The owner was extremely rude, made absolutely no attempt to clean my comforter and so now I'm out $50 and still have a dirty comforter. I will be sure to report this place to the BBB. Prestige were quick and easy but the quality of dry cleaning and alterations left me speechless. The tailor and I discuss that I wanted the suit to be slim fitting which she "nodded" and told me no problem. I paid over 100$ to have my suit tailored and dry cleaned. They are open when I'm not at work, so I can use them consistently. The service is also fast and friendly. There is an onsite tailor as well so my adjustments were also taken care of pretty fast. I've been taking our dry cleaning to Prestige Cleaners for about a year now. They've done an excellent job on all our shirts, dresses, skirts, and pants! They are quick, courteous, and reasonably priced. (Much better prices than the Passion Cleaners down the road.) My only complaint is that when we took our comforter in to be washed, it took them over a week and it cost and arm-and-a-leg. Would have been much better off finding a laundromat nearby. read more

The absolute worst! I brought a gown for them to alter. They ruined the evening gown I brought to them. The work was incredibly sloppy. The hem was uneven, the stitching was sloppily done. There was a random stitch in the middle of the gown. I could keep going...when I brought the gown back to show them, they did not even apologize or accept responsibility. Thankfully they refunded the $60 it cost to alter the dress but now the gown is ruined and I can't wear it. I do not recommend for alterations. I want to do this review in all fairness . We have been using this cleaners for years and we are very disappointed with this business. First the pros , their cleaning is usually decent for a dry cleaner and they do their cleaning on premises which is a plus. That is it for the pros and the cons are many. Their prices are way about most cleaners in Palm Beach . I have done a few experiments with other cleaners like dropping a shirt , pair of pants and a blazer off to compare prices and for those three items were 6 to 8 dollars cheaper than Prestige . People have made comments about their goal is to get you in and out quickly which they do but you wonder if all the clothes are getting registered on the slip. They are constantly looking for help which tells you something. There is one women there that knows what she is doing but that's about it. If clothes are damaged buttons broken, holes , etc it is always the fault of the garment and never their fault. If a garment is lost their is no recourse and no responsibility on their part. You can definitely find a better dry cleaner in the area, one that delivers and one much cheaper and more responsible. Also table cloths and blankets bring your wallet , double most places Each year seemed to get worse instead of better, happy to be rid of them. read more

Very expensive and poor quality dry cleaning. I brought in a comforter to be cleaned. I brought it home only to discover that is wasn't cleaned. There was dog hair all over it and many stains. I brought it back asking for a refund since I was leaving town and there was no time to clean it again. The owner refused and said when they dry clean they do not guarantee to get rid of dog hair or stains. Interesting, isn't that what most people would consider part of the cleaning process. It was also snagged in various places. I really feel that they did not clean it at all and just put it in a bag. Would never go back. You get what you pay for. This place is very quick, convenient, and they do a great job, but it is probably more expensive than most of their competitors. I got a pair of suit pants dry cleaned for $6, and a dress altered for a whopping $25. The horrible service I encountered at Prestige Cleaners in Palm Beach Gardens actually prompted me to finally create an account on Yelp just to warn other people to AVOID THIS PLACE!! I said I would not pay for something that has not been cleaned! The rude lady at the cashier said that if I didn't pay, I couldn't take my clothes back with me.
