Found Jessie the mobile mechanic on Yelp, gave him a call, explained the situation, and he immediately said he could come to us and fix it on the spot. He quoted me a fair price over the phone and actually kept his word -- which sadly is rare these days. Him and his wife showed up quickly, replaced the radiator fast, and had my family back on the road with almost no interruption to our trip. If you're going to this shop, I strongly recommend asking for Angel, the service manager--who, surprisingly, is not the general manager. Angel genuinely seems to care about her customers' well-being and went out of her way to turn an extremely frustrating experience into a much better one. My experience with the general manager, Eric, was very different. I was told my car was fixed and was pressured to pick it up that same day, a Saturday, or I would supposedly be charged a $150-per-day storage fee that their landlord allegedly charges them. This fee had never been disclosed to me beforehand, and I had never agreed to it. I was only told about it the same day I was expected to pick up the vehicle. With the shop closed Sunday, the possibility of additional storage charges was especially concerning. To Eric's credit, he did stay open so I could retrieve the car. Unfortunately, after picking up the supposedly repaired vehicle, I broke down about 20 miles away in roughly 120-degree desert heat--with the same issue I had originally brought the car in for. Another technician had initially suggested an evaporative-system leak, but John, who I found to be an excellent technician, took the time to investigate further. He discovered fuel contamination in my oil and diagnosed a problem involving the high-pressure fuel pump. John went out of his way to help diagnose the continuing problem, communicated with me frequently, and honored the warranty on the labor he had performed. Angel's response is ultimately what changed my opinion of the shop. After learning that I had broken down, Angel personally paid for my belt and worked to make the situation right. Her diligence and John's expertise are the reasons I would consider returning. What bothered me most was being threatened with a $150-per-day storage charge while I was out of town, particularly after I then had to limp my failing vehicle back to the shop. I was also told by Eric that an EVAP leak test had been performed, but based on what I later learned, I have serious questions about whether that test was actually completed. Between that and the previously undisclosed storage fee, I was prepared to file a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Angel ultimately went above and beyond to correct the situation, and she is the reason I would feel comfortable doing business with this shop again. She truly lived up to her name. In my experience, she demonstrated the professionalism, accountability, and customer service I would expect from the person running the shop. I gave an extra star because the mechanic tacked on some loose hardware for free. otherwise don't waste your time and money here. definitely not stress free..

In addition, my car was washed, vacuumed, mats washed, windows cleaned in and out. I had been using Quick Quack. Decent but the water isn't very soft and leaves spots. The final drying feature does not dry thoroughly. One must clean one's own interior. I bought the DHCW "Works" wash for $65/Month. I drive my car to DHCW and sit on my rear end until my car is dry and spotless...outside AND inside. The live video feed allows me to view the business and determine how busy they are. And on top of it, they broke the front camera on my bmw ix. BMW said it was caused by them applying too much pressure on the camera and it caused the harness to break and the camera to get pushed into the grille. I immediately contacted them when I was driving to work after pulling off the lot and using the camera and they claimed there was nothing they can do. I havent used the car wash since may because od the damage to my car and they keep billing me and make it extremely difficult to cancel which im pretty certain isnt legal.
