My mo'opuna wanted a special Aloha Collection bag for her 15th bday. Fran mentioned a store at…read moreGaylord's has a large inventory. Went on a Friday evening.. opens until 8pm. Upstairs from the restaurant. The salesperson, Meredith, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and FUN! Found what I wanted. If you love the Aloha Collection bag- this is definitely the place. It has their newest and some older desirable items. Everyone loves this brand and they make the best gifts.

This is NOT your typical review! I went to Kauai with my family (15 of us!) & my boyfriend bought 2…read morenecklaces from this store; one for his mom, & one for me. (I think it was my fault...between the rum I drank downstairs & my crazy 15 family members, somehow I lost the bag & he paid cash. We thought the necklaces were gone forever. I called the hotel, rum factory, nothing.. I go BACK to Kauai 2 months later thru a series of WEIRD & RANDOM events, the universe blessed me this year, & I was back in this store w/ my mom (who wasn't on the last trip). As we walk in, I'm explaining to her the story "we bought & lost 2 necklaces from here & ended up buying duplicates on Etsy b/c I felt so bad." The lady who works there (I'm sure the owner) says "you lost 2 necklaces here 2 months ago? Hold on a second...." PULLS OUT 2 BOXES. In my head I'm like "no, no, this is not real, you're mistaken, this is someone else's box." But NO! IT WAS OUR 2 NECKLACES! Someone from downstairs found them & brought them back up to the store. They kept them for 2 months! Even though he paid cash. Most people would have taken the $100 & resold them. Free money. But this owner did not. The integrity of this store is such a rarity in this day & age. A true, honest, kind gem! They are just good people. I will always come back here when I go to Kauai. And yes...these necklaces were way better quality than the ones from Etsy! HA! I also bought more items that are gorgeous. Thank you so much! XO Lacei

We've passed by this shop over a few dozen times over the years & decided to give it a go. The items are handmade from the Koa tree that is found in Hawaii. There are pens, jewelry, bags/purses, wallets, key chains, cutlery, ornaments, vases, kitchen items & other curious artwork displayed for sale. Candace was manning the shop & she was so friendly & welcoming. She even suggested a lady who might be able to create what we're looking for. This lady works from home & has a website (Tropical Isle Music). I love to support local businesses & Candace was so charming, I bought a couple of Aloha Hula girl ornaments & a pineapple (see photo) ornament. There's a few spaces for parking that it shares with Mankoa & a granola shack. It was lovely speaking with Candace, who I learned is actually half Filipino & half Japanese, born & raised in Kaua'i. Her grandfather was one of the first Filipinos who arrived from the Philippines to work in the plantations in Hawaii. It's always interesting to learn about people & their heritage. I'm very pleased with the experience & my purchases at this shop
