We met with Rob Brown who came out and measured and returned a quote that same night. It was $4k less. Needless to say, we hired them and are very happy! Unfortunately, the final result has been deeply disappointing. The turf installed in my yard has horizontal stripes like freshly mowed lawn on the bottom 1/4 which Marty insists is due to the sun reflecting off of my windows. UPON INSTALLING! Despite extensive documentation, photos, texts and calls to expeditiously resolve the issue, responsibility was deflected to "it's up to the manufacturer" What I can't understand is why is there a 15 year warranty ? The claim is denied without the manufacturer ever coming to see it themselves as well as hearing what happened from me and reading our text thread? It tells a bit of a different story. Marty reinforced at the onset that the job comes with a 15 year manufacturer warranty!!!! Marty placed 4 remnants in the same area to prove to me they'd burn like the turf from the sun! They DID NOT the experiment was a fail? The lack of accountability and resolution at the end has left me unable to recommend this company based on outcome and post-install support.

We acknowledged there had been some miscommunication between parties around the area to be covered in turf, and I agreed to pay the increase to keep things moving. Unfortunately, moments later he walked off the job with no communication and did not answer or return my calls. Lowcountry Artificial Turf could provide proper documentation on coverage with quotes in the future to prevent mishaps. But more importantly, the company should treat customers more professionally rather than leaving a job without notice or communication. The biggest implication for us was burning several months with a partner who's now significantly delayed our project.

Doug, the owner and operator, let us know he was a man short yesterday but didn't want to let us down so he showed up bright and early and got to work. Mowing, edging, raking, and bagging solo for hours without complaint, he stopped only because it was Valentine's Day and he needed to get home to his family, which I appreciated. I couldn't believe he was working so hard on the holiday, and would not have minded if he postponed, but his work ethic would not permit it. He said he'd be back in the morning to finish the job and haul it all away. He showed up with a smile and his assistant this morning and they knocked out the rest and loaded up in a short time. The yard looks great and will be much more manageable this season, and his prices are beyond fair. I was so pleased I gave him a tip, and a hug! I asked if he could just mulch them and he said yes but didn't do anything, and then hauled them away. He said he'd come back to fix the fence he pulled down. I had to threaten to hire someone else and bill him before he finally came out. He said he'd fix it quick so the dogs wouldn't get out and he'd come back, but ghosted me. Gave me a sob story about his divorce and moving and having to take on more work, but who DOESN'T have struggles?! My fence is embarrassing and I've had to get quotes from other companies and work a side job to save up to have it fixed. If you hire him - pay the deposit, but withhold the last 25% until he's ACTUALLY done. He'll ghost you otherwise.

Everything is tight, level, and have excellent cuts. 2) Pricing - They weren't the cheapest, but the least expensive quote for this quality. Don't hire the cheapest... It'll cost you more later. 3) Communication - Was able to communicate via messenger, text, phone, email. All responded without delay. 4) Marketing and sales - Excellent use of Facebook ad, great sales presentation, perfect initial consultation. Some improvements - 1) Job site cleanup after the workday and maintaining a tidy work area. There were cut pieces of stone all over the yard which took me several hours to remove. 2) Don't use a loader to scoop granite from the concrete driveway. There are a lot of scrapes and pits in the concrete now. 3) The job was never finished 100%. There is a wall cap that never got cut and the drain for the patio extension was never added.
