Ive been riding Reston buses with my university for now four years…read more I can say with confidence that I DO NOT RECOMMEND any Reston buses for any group. The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. Edit on the course of this trip another bus died on the side of the road. Updating review to one star.

I was entertaining an outing with friends that required a bit of a drive and thought it might be fun to rent an classic limo - like one we had back in the day for prom. Very often when I go with friends to wineries or day trips, everyone gets the sprinter vans now and it's just a slightly different experience. So I did request a quote for businesses nearby that might be able to accomodate my group, only a week in advance. While I number of businesses reached back out to me with quotes, I quickly learned that fewer companies have these classic stretch limos in their fleet. Ballston not only got back to me quickly, but was also available to hop on a call first thing that morning. Because there was some transparency on rates after seeing a number of quotes, I felt confident that their quote was fair and felt good moving forward with locking it in after reviewing logistics. The day of my birthday, the driver arrived on time and was great throughout the 6 hours he was booked. (Three of those hours we were inside eating brunch but he also worked with us to extend our time when we asked if we could drop by one more place before heading back from Baltimore!) The carpet was dirty. They advertised that it seats close to 18 but our group of 12 were squashed. It would have been nice to be given instructions on how to use the tv or music but nothing was written inside. Looking at my receipt I was charged for an 18 passenger but got a 14 passenger. When I got out I asked about the water and the driver said it was inside in the cooler. When we finished up, we went back into the limo and there was nothing. Be sure to check what your getting. Update: I have 12 witnesses who will agree that there was no water in that limo. I'm not sure why this company would flat out lie.

We needed a transfer from rural Pennsylvania to rural Virginia, and Patrick was happy to accommodate us. He communicated well and arrived precisely on time - wearing a suit! He loaded our luggage into the immaculate and very large SUV, while telling us about some potential traffic delays. The traffic turned out to not be quite so bad, and we arrived at our destination a little bit early. Patrick played excellent music, and kept us entertained with stories for most of the trip. And when we arrived, he carried our luggage to the door. And all that, for a very reasonable rate - not much more than if we'd rented a car and driven ourselves. I just don't see any other option for the next time I'm in the region - Patrick will be the first call I make.
