It really feels professional and organzized. Our kid is in T-ball. In each session, the coach does warm ups, then catching, the batting, then running the bases, then sets up a mini t ball scrimmage! Feels like our kid is really learning T-ball. There is also a nice little play area to entertain siblings while your kid is in class. $20/1 hour.

You will see a 45lb dumbbell placed in a 15lbs dumbbell spot on the rack because people don't understand how to put things back. 4. Lastly, their locker room is disgusting. My friend got Plantar Warts walking once barefoot. Towels are everywhere, locker room attendants are hitting their vapes. End of story, It's not worth the monthly payment unless you will be going 5AM-7:30AM or 7:30PM-10PM due to crowdedness.

I won't dwell on the facilities here--fees are high, amenities feel dated (though I know upgrades are underway), and comparable clubs in other high-cost areas offer more. That's not my main concern. My issue is the pattern of rude behavior at the front desk and the lack of awareness and follow-through from management. Most troubling, my child recalls being called "illegalist kid in the world" by someone wearing a Life Time jersey in the Kids Club. I reported this to both management and the Kids Club manager. There was no follow-up. My child stopped going for a while--especially disappointing since the Kids Club was a big reason we joined. I also notice a clear difference in how people are treated. We continue to go because it's convenient, not because I want to spend my hard-earned money where discriminatory behavior is tolerated or customer service concerns are ignored. For what it's worth, not all Life Time locations are like this--our experience at other clubs has been much better. I hope this feedback prompts meaningful action: acknowledge the complaint, follow up with families, train staff on respectful conduct, and ensure accountability. Her name is Charlene. I was hesitant when I first walked into the gym. I expected everyone to be skinny and that is not me. I was showed around the gym and met Charlene. I felt very comfortable and because of her I was able to let go of my anxiety and now she trains me 3-4 times a week. Without Charlene there is no way I would've been able to feel as comfortable as I do in the gym and to train as often as I do. I actually look forward to my training days. They worked with them on their comfort level, the instructors were very patient and it did the trick pretty quickly. I highly recommend ‍ There are many programs here at the Y that are great! The pool for lap or recreational swim, the gym and classes for working out, the after school programs, Camp Twelve Trails, music lessons, theatre, other youth and senior programs, and so much more. And after just one visit here I'm upset I never tried this sooner. The staff here is really friendly and helpful and will be glad to answer any questions. I was also skeptical of these simulators, I didn't expect it would be very fun or engaging, but it is. I just did the driving range simulator, where you hit off of an automated tee. Great setup and it lets you concentrate on hitting the ball. I'm as much of a beginner as they come, but even after just one session, I have noticeably improved and can't wait to come back. I was here with my 7 year old and we both had a great time. Great for families as well. Great vibe here. Highly recommended. Price is good as well.

They lease the space and have nothing to do with the pool, snack bar at Lake Isle, restaurant, etc. My son has been attending the Sportime tennis program for several years and we've had an excellent experience. While I agree with the posters here that Lake Isle itself leaves much to be desired, it is unfair that Sportime's tennis program should be incorrectly saddled with Lake Isle's poor reviews...

I really enjoy their teaching styles. The lessons are fun, very instructive, and fellow learners are always very friendly. Reasonable rates ($25 for ~2 hours). Highly recommend. They offer indoor winter classes as well! Classes are offered at this location (Fort Washington Park) and Frederick Johnson Playground.
