Let me preface this by saying that outside of the main contract and initial terms of service / support, there isn't any type of agreement that requires them to service and / or support any pool they install. I wasn't looking for free support or maintenance. I am willing to pay whatever the cost may be. BUT one would think that being that you purchased the pool from them, they'd support it in the future if it ever needed it. That isn't the case.
Prestige Pools installed a pool for us in August 2013. The pool is an inground, vinyl liner pool of which we were told the liner would have to be replaced every 8-10 years. About 6 months ago, I called Keith Jr. and asked if they could help with replacing the liner when the time came and if he could provide a quote. He had stated that he'd be happy to help and he'd get me a quote and it wouldn't be a problem, especially since they've installed it and he knew exactly what liner we had in the pool. Several days passed with no response so I called to follow up. I called their main number in which no one ever answered along with his cell number. He would not respond to calls, texts, voicemails, etc. I was very frustrated in that he couldn't even have the curtsey to let me know that he didn't want to help me - he just ignored me hoping I'd go away.
Recently, we had a storm that blew debris into our pool, damaging the liner and thus requiring replacement. I decided to call their main office number one more time to see if they could help me. Once again, all I received was a voicemail - so I left a message stating my frustration at their lack of professionalism and the fact they wouldn't support a pool that THEY INSTALLED. All I got back from them was a text from Keith Jr. stating - "at this time replacing your liner is not going to be something we are able to do."
With that being said, I cannot recommend them to anyone and highly suggest you find someone else to install your pool. If you do decide to let them install your pool, expect to have to find someone else to support it. It's like buying a car from a particular dealership but having to take it to another one to do maintenance because the one you purchased it from doesn't have time for you. read more
