The bad customer service started when we first went to pick out a ring. I love aquamarine because it is my husband & I birthstone, my favourite colour and I don't like diamonds. The worker shamed me for wanting the ring it picked. My husband & I could only guess she wanted a bigger sale which she would of gotten because we were getting a Disney necklace & bracelet before the comments. We also got the life time warranty which I need to bring it into the store to get clean & inspected. They can never find our account. We bring in the paper warranty with all the info and still they have issues. They have multiple system and none of them are connected. Now the visit today, 24 Feb 2024, was awful. We arrived right after opening, 11:02, and waited 36 minutes to get help because they were understaff. When we finally started to get help we told her I was here to get my ring serviced & 2 stones replaced. She put my ring in the ultra sonic & said she could only clean it since it wasn't/we didn't have a diamond band(we got my wedding band somewhere else). I told her with my warranty my stone would be replaced & ring fully serviced. She continued to say no. After about 5 minutes of back and forth she finally actually read what our warranty covered. Then we had the issue of pulling up our account was a 10 min ordeal. We signed & initial all the paperwork where she told us. I took a couple minutes putting on the paperwork in my folder. We got a message an hour after we left the mall from the woman saying we initial where we were suppose to sign and she couldn't process our service and we needed to drive back to sign. We talked to the store manager about the message & she handled it to where we didn't need to drive back(our only decent interaction with zales) I honestly have such awful feeling attached to my engagement ring that I really love that all stem & compound from that first sales rep.

I didn't care if we went to a personal eye Care place or Wal-mart but I'm so glad my husband wanted a specific brand because It introduced us to Amy, who was so incredibly knowledgeable and knew everything about how my insurance worked and how to get the most out of my plan and where I barely paid out of pocket. I was so impressed that I asked to go get in next door with the optometrist WITHOUT an appointment ( which I'll do a review of her and her office next because they're also amazing) to see if I could get an exam because I now wanted to use Pearle that day with my family. Luckily, the optometrist had a customer running late and squeezed my in. I've had glasses since I was eight and have many experiences with getting glasses and this has been my favorite. So a month later my daughter wanted to get glasses and was going to go to America's Best because they advertise a really great special that you can't turn down. I get a call a frantic call from my daughter who is learning how to schedule and go to her appointment's alone and they said she only had an allowance of 70.00 when I was able to buy an almost 300.00 pair of Kate Spade glasses with only a few dollars that I had to pay out of pocket. I believe it was less than ten bucks. So, I told my daughter to go to Pearle in Rockwall, just down the street and speak to Amy. Amy, talked to me on the phone and explained that America's Best will say that "yes" your insurance is covered but won't tell you that you're "out of network". This makes a huge difference. My daughter ended up with a pair of "Ray Ban" glasses and paid nothing out of pocket for the glasses and only a little for the extra options for the lenses. I got "Kate Spade", my son and husband both got "Oakley" and my daughter got "Ray Ban" all brand names. I called Amy again..... And I wanted to speak to her manager so that I could tell them how impressed I was and she said she was the manager. So I needed to let people out there know how impressed with the service I am. I could careless about the name brands I care more about the quality of customer service I get because that's where I'll take my business in the future. Luckily, I have amazing insurance but even better Amy knew how to maximize our benefits. Just with the example of my daughter is proof why I'll always go back. She would have had to pay out of pocket for a pair of cheapy frames and wouldn't have gotten the bang for MY buck I spend in vision coverage. I contacted them in advance to confirm whether a rezoning sign could be completed by Friday, as required by the City of Rowlett, and was told yes. I submitted my order and payment accordingly. The proof was emailed to me on January 13 at 1:14 PM by Lea, and I responded on January 14 at 6:39 PM after realizing I had overlooked the email due to a very busy schedule. I even left a voicemail after hours before realizing the proof had already been sent. When I followed up to confirm whether the Friday deadline could still be met, I received an email from Lea stating: "No - It would be next week at this point unless we did a 1-day rush and it would be about 4 times more than the price quoted. Let us know what you want to do. I tried to call but I could not get you." I never received any missed calls, and no attempt was made to call my work number, which is clearly listed at the bottom of my email. I also explained that the proof initially contained an incorrect case number, despite me providing the correct information upfront, which contributed to the delay. Unfortunately, Lea's tone was rude, defensive, and aggressive, rather than professional or solution-oriented. I requested that someone in management contact me to see what could be done. When management did call me back, he sounded very young and displayed the same rude, defensive, and immature behavior. I was honestly shocked by the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service skills demonstrated by both individuals. I work with customers daily, and if a business commits to a deadline, clear and professional communication--especially for time-sensitive approvals--is critical. A simple follow-up call could have prevented this entire situation. When I explained this to the manager, his response was that they have a lot of customers and cannot be calling everyone back because they are very busy. I'm shocked by the lack of professionalism and would not recommend this location
