This place is a scam, they only want cash. Charge way to much. They kept my car all weekend for a window tint. Don't go here, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Also I think the sign Prestige Tint and detail is the old business it's really Oceanview Custom. read more

I went in for window tint and new head liner. My banner of tint (eyebrow) on the windshield was left hanging about 4" on each side. Hard to believe but it was just flappin in the wind when I pulled out. I went home and attempted cutting it myself because I didn't want to go back there. I'm not even going to go into that reason here. It's too much to write. Let's just say I wouldn't send any woman I know there. A few days later I am driving down the road and almost wrecked when my sun visor fell down in front of my face because it was not installed properly when he (the owner, Angel) did the headliner. It was hanging from the electrical cord from the mirror. I pulled over on the side of the road to fully disconnect it. I paid $450 cash for the worst service and treatment of a place since I can't remember when. This place is not a place I would recommend at all. read more

These people ruined my tint. All bubbly in the corner and i ask them about it they say its normal. When it keeps growing i take it back they say its normal. After bringing my SUV in for detailing, I was quoted $550 for the job. I was told to expect it to be kept overnight. I brought in my vehicle the next day. Prestige Tint & Detail kept my SUV for 13 days and when after me BEGGING to get my truck back, I was presented with a bill for $850. Honestly, I would never recommend this place. Spent 4 hours waiting in a lobby after arriving first thing Saturday morning for my appointment to get tail lights tinted wrapped with vinyl I provided. People came and left with their vehicles even AFTER me. Apparently I was not a priority being I was waiting in the lobby for an appointment first thing in the morning. Best part, Angel charges me $190 at the end meanwhile a buddy of mine got his done there for under $100 2 weeks prior & Angel couldn't give me a valid reason why other than "it took 2 hours" with a snarky attitude. You get an entire vehicle tinted for around $160, $190 for tail lights? Robbery. Then to top it all off, Angel tells me not to "start knit picking" after asking a simple question about the few small bubbles on the wrap on a job I just spent $190 & waited 4 hours on. What kind of management acts this way? Any other shop in Florida will wrap tail lights For $70-$140 MAX even the high end shops. $190 I spent for 2 easy shaped tail lights & it took them 4 hours to get done. What a joke. Would've never of went their way nor sent them business had I of known the outcome.Save your time & money. No wonder the bad reviews. read more

We have had two vehicles detailed at Prestige, a Jaguar and a Dodge Ram. Both experiences have been excellent, with outstanding results. I found nothing was overlooked, every surface was perfect and both vehicles looked brand new! They even managed to remove a stain left by the dealership on the fabric headliner. The quality of work was impeccable, the service was fast and convenient, and the price was a good value. We are very happy and will be return customers. This is an update to my original review. The real story is that I identified NUMEROUS missed areas outside where the wax wasn't buffed off, and numerous (including the gauges and steering wheel) inside areas that weren't buffed off, etc., BEFORE I left. However, I'm disabled, and it's difficult for me to do a thorough inspection. I didn't see all the areas that were missed (including the entire roof) until I left; some weeks afterward. Regardless of what the owner said, it's not my job to do his job, and catch all the areas that were missed. That's supposed to be what I paid for. I'm glad others got good service, but unfortunately, I didn't. Buyer beware. read more

Run! Don't walk away from this place. Poor quality is an understatement. Poor management, poor customer service (by the owner), zero integrity. I brought my vehicle in on Tuesday 11-3-20 to have water spots compounded out of the paint and have the vehicle waxed. We agreed on a price of $200.00. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and returned to pick it up in the afternoon. After completion I found numerous scratches/chips on the vehicle. The male worker at Prestige Tint and detail called the owner Jesse to ask how he should handle the situation. The male worker was instructed to get the paint color of the vehicle so they could purchase a paint stick to touch up the scratches/chips. I wasn't very happy about this since the vehicle was in perfect condition when I dropped it off. I wash this vehicle, by hand, once a week and know every inch of it. These scratches and chips were not there prior to taking it to this place. On Thursday 11-5-20, I noticed that my charge card was charged $222.00 instead of $200.00. I called the shop and a female worker answered the phone. I asked why the card was charged over the agreed upon price. She stated that this was tax and she can't do anything about that. I asked why I was charged tax when there was only labor involved. Her response was, she only does what she is told and would have Jesse the owner call me. Later that afternoon, Jesse called me and he asked to meet him in person to discuss my issues. I agreed to meet him at his requested location, date and time which was Friday 11-6-20 at 9:30 AM at his shop. I walked into the shop at exactly 9:30 AM and asked for Jesse. A male worker said he was not in. I told the worker that Jesse set up an appointment to meet him here at 9:30 AM. The worker called Jesse on his cell phone. While they were talking, the female worker drove up and the male worker gave the cell phone to the female so she could take over the situation. While I was waiting in the show room, another customer walked into the shop and the female worker helped this new customer and left me standing there so I left the showroom. I saw the male worker that I spoke with when I arrived outside the shop. I told the male worker to have Jesse call me when he gets the time. To date (11-10-20), I have not heard a word from Jesse. In my opinion, the owner Jesse is a poor businessman and has a poorly run business that produces poor quality work and taxes you on labor which goes against Florida state law. I am writing this review to help other people, in the area, make an informed decision before selecting this place. read more
