My wife and I recently both upgraded to new cars, and given the Texas heat, we wanted to get them window tinted straight out. Given the current COVID-19 situation, we figured a "from home" option would be best and that we could get both cars done at once. I sent out a quote request to a number of companies on Yelp, and Alex was incredibly quick to respond. In fact, he had phenomenal communication all throughout the process. I had done some research in advance and found that many tint companies don't carry the super high end tint, but given the heat reduction properties, we really wanted to go for the best. Alex was able to quote us for the Xpel Prime XR+ tint and was very reasonable on pricing. We agreed to do both cars "all the way around" as well as the "clear" film that's legal on the windshield (Prime 70 XR+ or something like that). We coordinated on schedule; however, he messaged me a couple of weeks early to let me know he had some openings and could do the job sooner. Alex and his wife were absolute professionals - they worked tirelessly all day to get both cars done, and the results speak for themselves (see pictures). Communication was awesome, the tint is awesome, and I'm just so pleased overall. Icing on the cake - he had mis-quoted one of the cars and it ended up being even slightly cheaper than our original agreed upon price. There are many companies to go to in the Houston/Sugar Land area for window tinting. Many of them will be able to get you in to have the work completed within that same week. In fact, out of all the companies I contacted, only one had a significant wait and that was Prestige Window Tinting. Alex, the owner, responded to my inquiry quickly and quoted me a wait of right around a month. I was not thrilled with the wait, but the reviews online were good enough that it felt like the smart decision to wait. Today was the day that I finally had my appointment and I couldn't be happier. Alex showed up exactly to the minute when he said he would. He was professional and friendly. He was well prepared and had samples to show me of everything. He made it easy to make my final selections. He immediately go to work installing everything at my home which was super convenient. It's been 4-5 months, and no issues at all with the tint - good material and expertly installed. One option I suggest: ask about an "eyebrow tint" - basically, across the windshield, covering about 4-5 inches. WONDERFUL when driving with the sun in front of you. read more

Well here we are 8 years later and the window tint is still holding up great, no fading, peeling or bubbles noted at all. Vehicle is now my daughters, and she really likes the tint as well, but wishes it was darker (it has a 50% tint), but told her she would have to pay for it herself if she wanted the tint changed, and she decided that it was dark enough. Since the film used is a higher quality film, it really does block out heat and UV and has better performance than many darker films. I have another vehicle that I will be getting in contact with Alex soon to have done, so will will review that as well (I am sure it will be a 5 star as well). read more

This was my first time needing to have a car tinted so after some research, I ended up contacting Alex to get a quote and set up an appointment. It was fairly quick and painless and Alex was very professional throughout it all and was easily reachable by phone or text. The prices were also quite competitive! Originally, the appointment was for two weeks later because he was booked until then, but he contacted me the next day saying he had an opening the next weekend and he gave me a 2-hour window that he would be coming to my house to work on the car and that it would take about 2 hours or so to complete the job. I needed to be somewhere at around 2, but he was honest with what I could expect. I took it anyway, because my car needed to be tinted and getting slightly behind schedule wasn't going to kill me. He called the day before to confirm the appointment. He also said that if I absolutely needed to be out before 1:30, he could send his brother instead to work on my car since he had a job before mine. I told him it was fine since I had already adjusted my day's schedule accordingly. He called about 30 minutes before he arrived and got straight to work. I provided him with cool water and a scone I had made earlier that morning. He was a good sport; since it was my first time, I was curious so I watched him work for the first 10 to 15 minutes or so and periodically went to the garage to check on him, but he answered my questions and didn't seem to mind my presence. Or at least he was good at hiding it. :) He even took off his shoes when he needed to use the bathroom! Brownie points right there. The car looks good - no bubbles or anything - and he gave care instructions (no rolling of windows for 2 days and don't use the rear defroster for a week after) before he left. Great service and at a great price! The best thing was that I could take care of some household things while I waited. I would definitely recommend Prestige to anyone who needs their windows tinted. read more
