I shouldn't even give you people a one star review. My husband took our car in back in March to be fixed they charged us over 1100 for it. Then attempted to get us to do maintenance on the car there for another $200. By the way my dad can do the work for less then $50. Then a month later the car was having the exact same problem they had our car for almost two weeks. And charged us close to $2,000. I'm sorry but having to take our car back for the same problem that should have been fixed to first time is not ok. I will never be going back there. And I will be telling others. I don't care how rich this business they don't deserve to rip people off. read more

I had my Tacoma 30,000 mile service at Preston Motors Toyota. The mechanic broke a bolt on my skid plate and was trying to charge me $80 to drill and tap new bolts for the skid plate. Not sure what has changed, used to trust and respect them but I will not go back to purchased a new vehicle or will I use them for service anymore. Absolutely horrible customer service and experience with Rick Ferrari. Went there for a vehicle that the "owners daughter" had and it was "treated well." They claimed it had no damage. This was a 2025 Toyota Sienna. When inspected I find the front bumper cracked, plastic skid guard destroyed and the metal frame scraped down to bare metal and rusting already. The front passenger tire had curb damage so badly it would need replaced. When I questioned this, Rick claimed it was never wrecked since there was no reported accident. It was a $58,000 car with a cracked front bumper. I took Rick out to see the damage and he says "It's plastic so it won't get any worse you don't need to worry about that" I asked that they replace all the damaged parts and we would purchase the vehicle for the listed price to which Rick said was not possible. Then they claim "it went through a thorough inspection and passed". I questioned if they inspected the underside and they said yes. I asked if they did, there was no way they missed all this damage. So they either lie and don't inspect their vehicles or lie and try to hide the damages hoping you won't see it and sell you the car. Either way they lie. Been a month since I sent my 2nd email for them to contact me no answer or call. TLDR this place is predatory and will add fake fees and "market adjustments 32k sticker price car got marked up to 40k they hid it behind extended loan payments and a high interest rate. This place basically scammed me in 2022 I was dumb and partly to blame but they do market adjustments and tell you one thing then another. I was told to hold a car it was 500 then the next day I got a call actually it's 1000. The car was great but In hindsight they did me dirty because I was Naive. Don't look at the monthly payments like I did and look at out the door price. If I had to guess they got me for a New 2022 Toyota Camry SE Nightshade AWD. Pretty sure the sticker price was something like 32K with all the accessories. I would later find out that the out the door price was something like 40k with a monthly payment of 579 and some change and a 72 months with high APR. even with 6 or 7k down. All this because I didn't know what I was doing. Just like a car dealership to take advantage of someone who doesn't understand financing. I can't wait for direct to consumer to one day be an option and I can only hope to convince someone to look at the out the door price, the APR and not just the monthly payment they very well could be scamming you with a smile with fake service contracts and other fees that don't exist like Market adjustment. Really scummy to punish someone for buying a popular model of car no better than a scalper. read more

This review is way past due. I bought a truck I think in 2015, had my own financing and they were insistent I used their financing. I declined their financing rolled out with my truck and noticed I had no gas. I went back inside and asked why I had no gas, they said they would have it filled up. I was told I had my own financing I could afford my own gas. That was in 2015. I have bought seven new trucks. My wife bought three new cars I have purchased 11 new trucks for my company . They obviously were not from Preston. I would never ever spend another dollar at Preston motors and I would suggest nobody would, they treat you very badly. read more

I purchased a Toyota at Preston Motors in August 2024 and the finance department submitted paperwork to PennDOT on 3 occasions to obtain my registration and title. Each submission of paperwork involved an error on their part that delayed the process. I had to follow up with them on each occasion and obtain a new license plate and temporary registration in order for the registration to not expire. Finally, after involving their Finance Manager, in March 2025 (7 months later), I received my title and registration. Also, I scheduled a service call after 5000 miles for a tire rotation and checkup on the vehicle. I asked when I made the appointment how much it would cost and was advised nothing; it would be included in my total care plan. However, when the service was done, I was given a bill for $31. I declined to pay the bill since I was quoted that I would owe nothing. The incompetency of this dealership is obvious based on what I experienced and I do NOT recommend them. read more

I bought a Toyota Certified used 2017 Highlander from Preston Motors in Nov. 2022 and very shortly afterwards I noticed oil leaking from the rear differential onto my garage floor. I took it to Baierl Toyota in Cranberry because they are much closer to me than Preston in New Castle. Baierl Toyota told me the oil leak would not be covered under the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle warranty because the problem had been caused by a very careless mechanic at Preston Motors. The mechanic at Preston Motors had removed the oil plugs on the differential using an air chisel which totally mangled them, yet the same mangled oil plugs were then re-installed on my vehicle. Also this mechanic neglected to insert a crush washer onto the plug and this is what caused the oil leak. Mike Ward, the service manger at Preston, stepped up and admitted this problem was caused by Preston. He also agreed to pay Baierl Toyota's $188 bill to repair this problem, which was absolutely the right thing to do so I do give Preston Motors and Mike Ward credit for this. But Mike Ward also insisted that the mechanic there who had caused the problem IS ONE OF PRESTON MOTORS' BEST AUTO MECHANICS. Say WHAT?!!! By their own admission, Preston Motors' best auto mechanics do sloppy and careless work. That's important for you to know!! I will also note that Preston Motors did not offer to make me whole for my time and expenses in twice taking my vehicle to Baierl Toyota and for cleaning the leaked oil off my garage floor. read more

This place seems to only sell to people with great credit, if you put in for a loan they will run your credit over and over again just to see if they can sell you a vehicle. Do not do that it hurts your credit. I would not buy a car here, not a good idea, there not trustworthy. They hit me up for 6 hard inquiries for the day applied, how despicable that is. read more

I had an appointment to get my Jeep serviced. When I was asked if I was new someone would have told me they have at least seven different service areas and four different areas. Well I ended up going to seven different areas. By the time I found the place I needed to be I was late. So I was told I could wait three and a half hours before they can fit me in. They only needed to check a light that came up on my dash board. No apologies for running a person all over the place. No one can even call to find out where I should have been. I'll go to Cranberry from now on they have one stop. read more

Took my van there for some repairs and they gave me the run around. Took it back when my van lost power and slide through an intersection and they said it was just a loss battery terminal and wouldn't fix it. They put my family's life in danger. Turns out it was the engine wire harness that was causing the problem. But they couldn't take time to look. read more

I'm not a customer but I'm a neighbor and I would never trust my car with them. I watch them flying out of their lot in customer vehicles all day. The fly up W Euclid Ave as fast as they can and then they fly back into their parking lot just as fast. They do not care about other peoples property, be careful who you trust your vehicle with. I recently purchased a new Toyota from these guys and I have to say buying a new car has never been easier. I knew basically what I wanted and called a few dealers getting prices and was a bit surprised when my local dealer beat them all. They even brought in another model from another dealer so that I could look them both over before making up my mind. I dealt with Brandon and had a really good experience. He wasn't pushy like a lot of salesmen are and didn't use any of the tired old lines that I've heard dozens of times. He was polite, respectful and didn't attempt to up-sell me on anything. The whole process was painless and I couldn't be happier. I had a small issue with the vehicle and brought it in the next day and one of the owners even came over to make sure I was being taken care of properly. Avoid their service departments at all costs. I took my car in with 9K miles on it for a simple PA state inspection and had to have the car towed out because they took it out for a safety road test for 7 undocumented miles and ruined the motor. Preston's customer service was terrible and they offered nothing to help correct the situation. I am making my story publicly known after giving them ample time to help make this right, and they have done nothing. I think the company slogan should be: "Where you come LAST". I would not recommend this business to anyone. Avoid at all costs....my experience was horrible and I would not want anyone else to have to go through this. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Unfortunately I can not do that. My husband and I purchased a Grand Cherokee in October. We were looking for a 2015 and thought we had found the vehicle of our dreams at Preston. It has every bell and whistle you could imagine. The best part was the fantastic price they were willing to offer us. The transaction took a bit longer than expected because they didn't even have the vehicle on their lot. At this point it was okay because we were still so excited. It was supposed to be delivered on a Thursday. The car, however, was not delivered that day but we were asked to come in and sign all of the paper work without seeing it. The car was to be delivered to the dealer on Friday so we decided to wait. Went in and sadly all of the bells and whistles were not indeed there. It did not have the gps or tire package that we were promised. So we filled out the paper work and waited longer but they offered to deliver it to our house so we were still content. The vehicle was finally delivered the following Tuesday. Excitedly we called the insurance company to protect our brand new baby. Mind you we have never purchased a brand new vehicle. When the agent took the VIN number he informed us that the vehicle was not in fact a 2015 but instead a 2014. We would have been perfectly happy with a 2014 if only the dealer had been honest with us. When we told the dealer our findings, they offered us $500 to make it up to us. All we really wanted was the truth but that was not something they were willing to do. So now we have had to obtain an attorney to correct the situation. Which of course is another added cost. We would suggest being very cautious in purchasing anything from this establishment. Buyers beware of fraudulent dealers. read more

He was very professional yet personable enough to make me comfortable. The service department was great also. They could have sent me on my way and I would have never known this truck needed a few things fixed. But the volunteerd to do it before I left the dealership. They didn't have todo that! This company preys on the elderly. After a very slow speed collision (10-15 mph), my 82-year old mother's car needed body work. Preston took 25 days to complete the repair - why? - she overheard the comment "there's no rush, she has 40/30," meaning her insurance pays $40/day for a rental car for up to 30 days. In addition to the body work, my mother was told she need to replace her worn brakes and rotors and worn idle arm, her emergency brake was not working and a small rust hole in the frame needed fixed or her car would not pass inspection. This "old lady" needed about $1000 of additional repairs but she told them no. Her brakes worked just fine on the drive to Preston, now the pedal must be depressed to the floor to have effect. The idle arm is now broken. When she told them she recently parked on a very steep driveway and her emergency brake worked just fine then, they responded that the cables to the emergence brake were "jumbled and needed to be straightened out." Finally, telling her the car would not pass inspection with a hole in the frame was simply wrong (I'll stop short of calling it fraudulent). Now my mother's car does need new brakes, rotors and an idle arm. Preston will not be doing the work. read more

All I can say is if you purchase a car make sure its on the lot, we purchased a suv that was not on the lot, and not as I understood I was getting, my wife and I we looking at the 2014 Hylander and wanted the limited edition, we later decided cost was to much for our affordability, ok no problem, we then were told that we would be able to get the next model down, understand that model was not at the store but we had papers on it from a different store. the model down is a XLE model, all Preston had was the le plus model. my wife didn't like the colors either. when we went over papers for pricing we were under the impression we were getting the next model down (XLE) We actually got the same suv we were looking at on the lot. not the next model down as indicated by the sales rep. I would recommend a different Toyota dealer because of this issue, I will not be going back to shop there again. read more
