Most notable was Dr Cook's attitude change when I decided on extraction only and not implant. After I made that decision, he only said 1 word to me-"extraction". He cares for his patients at all hours of the day and night, providing his cell number and he texts back answers to questions or calls back to go over prescription options if a medication is needed. He provides the most personal VIP service I have ever experienced from any doctor I have ever seen. He takes the time to go over everything in detail explaining each step of the way and doesn't mind going off track to answer my questions or my son's questions as they come up. He is just incredible with my son, speaking to him with respect and using calming words to help him understand and relax, which I appreciate so much! His front desk staff is also very kind, very helpful, and wonderful to work with in setting appointments and helping get answers to any additional questions. After a thorough exam and viewing x-rays Dr Britt determined that I needed a crown which I was not surprised to hear. Since then, I've had to switch dentists 3 times. The reason... the bar was high coming out of Stansell and was hard to find the same level of service. I finally have switched to insurance that is accepted by Stansell so of course I came back. Upon calling the front desk on Wednesday for an issue I wanted to get looked at for a 2nd opinion, I was given an appointment with Dr Kat the following Monday. And, the evening of the call, I received an email to sign up on the patient portal which allowed me to upload the xrays from the previous dentist along with my medical history. I walked in on Monday and the front desk had me just sign a HIPAA form and I was set..... efficiency! Gabriella(sp?) brought me in and asked for details of the issue I had. She actually discussed it with me face to face and even provided some recommendations based on her husband's similar experiences. All the other dentists offices seemed to just want to process you, not really sit down and discuss things (especially the last one I had). Then, Dr Kat came in and really went into some great explanations before and after her examination. I asked several questions and she answered them with full dialogue until I was satisfied. Then she offered up some possible recommendations that she'll know more certain when I come back in for a cleaning and new xrays since my previous cleaning was just a few months ago. I don't really give out 5 stars very easily but I had a hard time finding any reason not to in this case (should I deduct a star because I had to walk in the rain to get in the building as they didn't come out and hold an umbrella over me?... yeah you're right... too picky :-) ). Everyone in the office was very friendly, efficient and actually seemed to like their jobs! And, I know Dr Stansell reads these reviews so please tell your folks GREAT JOB! And, I'm glad to be back :-) By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet, folks.... I HIGHLY recommend this location of Stansell Dentistry!

What ultimately made me leave the clinic after 3 years is the horrible customer service and poorly run office. Regular cleanings that should take 45 minutes took 3 hours because of wait times. You can tell there are not enough staff for the number of patients being treated. The final straw for me occurred when I attempted to order a bite guard. My order was canceled without my knowledge and after a week of back and forth they still were not able to order the bite guard. I do not recommended this dentist and will be going elsewhere after this experience.

There isn't much else to say - I saw him a total of four times. But I remember liking him because he was an all-around good guy and was knowledgable when I had questions. Oh, but now that I think about it, his receptionist was kind of mean. But at least she's not the one cutting your gums open.
