The whole team make this an exceptional Dental Practice. We were patients at another Dentist in Raleigh and had a very traumatic experience with my 13 year old daughter needing an emergency root canal which the other Dentist could not carry out, the day before Thanksgiving! I was upset and in a panic and started ringing lots of other dentists for help. I called Reflections Dental because I had seen them advertised in Brier Creek and Chana was brilliant, she LISTENED to me and told me they would help and asked me to bring my daughter to the office in 20 minutes. Dr Matthews was so very kind and gentle (my daughter and I were both upset). Dr Matthews and her team worked on my daughter for next 90 minutes, they were brilliant! We had gone as an emergency (no appointment) but whilst Dr Matthews was helping us she never let any of her other patients wait, she is 100% professional, with a great personality too. I moved to the area over 2 years ago. I dreaded finding a new dentist, but a neighbor recommended Dr. Matthews of Reflections Dental. After one visit I knew this would be my Dental Family! The entire staff is so warm, friendly, and capable. The office has the most modern equipment I've ever seen, and is super comfortable. The main reason I happily return though, is Dr. Matthews. She is kind and easy to talk to. But most importantly she is a fantastic dentist. She not only knows her field better than any dentist I've known, she has the ability to explain things to a non-dental person (me) so that I understand. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have lived in Raleigh for 15 years and have had some awful experiences with dentists. I have had my whole face black and blue from shots, no pain before I went into the dentist, but left in miserable pain. HOWEVER.....we finally found Dr. Matthews! She has been wonderful to my whole family. Dr. Matthews takes the time to get to know you and remembers the little things about you. I have a very painful jaw, and Charlotte is always understanding and gives me breaks during my cleanings. I really am quite pleased with the whole office! I have been a patient of Reflections Dental since 2011 and have had many experiences that would each earn this office a five star rating. This office is well managed and professional in how they operate. The staff is always friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the dental chair. I feel very well taken care of, here, and have even been offered a hot towel on occasion. Most importantly, I appreciate the quality of work I have received from Dr. Matthews. I have had more dental work than I care for, but she moves quickly, has a light hand, and a smooth finished product without having to refinish it multiple times. We recently moved to North Carolina so my teenage son is a new patient at Reflection's Dental and I cannot give enough praise to the entire staff. The front office girl's are so helpful with quick scheduling and really taking the time out to explain your benefits and treatment plans, they even filed our secondary insurance for us!!! Dr. Matthews and her team are the most professional, sincere, comforting and best dental group I have ever been to! From Chana who helps me with appointments and insurance hassles, to my dental hygienists and assistants, I am taken care of from the start of my appointments to the end. I actually enjoy going to the dentist, I never experience pain or bleeding as they are very gentle and careful. My dentist retired a few years ago and I HATE going to the dentist so dreaded finding a new one. Although I live near Capital Blvd and 540 I drive to Reflections Dental because they were so wonderful to me and my 2 girls. The flexibility they offer to see all of us at the same time and their patients with my dental fears allows me to ensure we go every 6 months instead of years between visits. I had a good experience with Refletions Dental. My Dental Hygiene Charlotte did a great job cleaning my teeth. They looked and felt fabulous. I also had to get some wisdom teeth pulled out and Dr. Jennifer Matthews was considerate in asking if I feel pain before abstracting my wisdom teeth. I LOVE REFLECTIONS!!!! I had two fillings replaced and a wisdom tooth removed and I've never had a more pleasant dental experience! Dr. Matthews and her staff are so kind AND I got to watch Netflix (Friends marathon!!) while in the chair. At my first visit, they told me what I need to have done and how to do it in a way that'll maximize my insurance benefits and allow for adequate recovery time between procedures. I left my old dentist due to pain and sensitivity for months after 2 different filings. I have since had 4 filings with Dr. Matthews and no pain or sensitivity!! She is excellent! The staff here is so welcoming that my two little girls love going and my oldest even wants to be a dentist now!
