Often times, microbladed or nano brows look quite "rectangular" to me - specific lines, boxed in, all looking the same. The first time I went to have my brows done, about 4 years ago, was when Mila first switched from microblading to nano brows. And I was absolutely floored by the amount of time she put into sketching the right brow shape for my face and explaining why the shape complimented my face. She is a perfectionist and it shows. Every appointment has me leaving with exactly how I want my brows - even a year when I asked if she could touch something up and I got right back on the table. She also always has the most up-to-date technology - I went in yesterday for my yearly and she already had newer technology since I was there a year ago when she had just upgraded tech then! She is also the most professional yet easy to talk with - appointments fly by with someone like this. If you are looking for someone to work with you on your brows for years, go see Mila. I don't even go for brow maintenance to a beauty bar every 3 months as I used to as I'm so confident!

Once I realized my review was gone, I knew I had to come back and share my experience again. I have very uneven eyebrows due to a scar over one eye, making one brow sit slightly higher. After years of searching for someone I could truly trust, I found Mila, and I've never looked back. Her precision and expertise have consistently given me incredible results. Even when she moved from New York to Boston, I didn't hesitate to make the trip for my touch-ups--she's that good! I may not have my original before-and-after pictures anymore, but I have plenty of photos that showcase her amazing work. If you're looking for someone who truly understands brows, Mila is the one! Nobody even realizes my brows are microbladed and that's really always the goal! Natural work that makes you feel confident. Some other people have mentioned unfriendliness or clinical behavior; I've experienced a spectrum of this (some staff is friendlier, others professionally distant) but...honestly, I'm just here to get fly eyebrows, not make a friend, so I was never bothered. I've never been treated with anything remotely close to disrespect, or witnessed another being treated like that, although obviously I can't speak on what those other reviewers experienced. My lash technician, Mei, no was incredibly professional and skilled. She took the time to understand exactly what look I was aiming for and explained the entire process to me, which was very reassuring as it was my first time getting lash extensions. She was meticulous in her work, ensuring each lash was perfectly placed, and the end result was stunning! The lashes look incredibly natural yet glamorous, adding just the right amount of volume and length. They have completely transformed my eyes and have made my morning routine so much quicker - no more fiddling with mascara! Had powder brows done. They came out horrible. Wrong color and shape and patches were missed. I went back the next day to settle this to get the right color and shape, it was rushed to only find out after that the shape was not changed and the color was just placed over the original color. I sent Mei pics and text and tried to reach her to find out that I was BLOCKED on her social media (instagram) and BLOCKED on the phone!! I requested a refund days ago and have not received it! This is not a professional and obviously she does not care about customer satisfaction! I just went on viagro and was blocked there from doing a review! Bad service and customer service! I am now forced to go elsewhere to correct the brows and pay another $400. Buyer beware. I am not the only one who has been blocked and not refunded for services not completed or botched. read more

I got a referral from one of my friend to go to Meixiang and I definitely recommend! My appointment for Ombré powdered brows were done by Mei and they came out great. I really like how they look and are exactly what I wanted. I waited for a few weeks and went back to her to do the eyebrows touch up after. They look amazing in the photos from my wedding. However, I ended up getting them removed about a week and a half later because some of them started falling out and they were getting really annoying when I was wearing my glasses (normally I wear contacts) or sunglasses. I loved the way they looked, and they were definitely worth it for the wedding (especially with the groupon price). However, it's too much maintenance and cost for me to deal with on a regular basis. For that price, I would rather just use Latisse and grow my own lashes, so I don't have to worry about getting them wet!
