My eyebrows were totally transformed by Rejina. My natural eyebrows are not full-looking. I went for an initial appointment of micro-blading and a follow-up session. Update: Right after I post this review, Rejina called me while I'm at work and tried to argue with me that I shouldn't be writing this review. She said that I should have told her on the spot that I wasn't happy which I did so that's why she charged me $50 instead of the $150. It was very unprofessional of her to call me to argue about my reviews. She also texted me that she'll refund the $50 if I took this review down. I'm not taking this down because this is the truth and people need to know their real pricing before committing to something permanent like this. Beware of how unprofessional this place is. Instead of trying to correct their pricing, they would rather silence bad reviews so they can continue charging ridiculous prices for unprofessional and subpar services. I was looking for a new Microblading place since my old place, Prettyology, was moving to Peabody and I wanted to find somewhere closer. I was looking to get my brows microbladed and I found this place through Yelp since it has great reviews and I thought the pricing was comparable ($675 for first time customer ) to the other 2 places that I've been to, one was out of state and the other one is Prettyology. The place is definitely not as fancy as Prettyology but I wouldn't judge it based on the office space itself. If you ever have microblading, you know that there is always a follow up appointment for touchups 6-8 weeks later because there is always color fading and the follow up appointment is to ensure that your permanent brows have the colors and strokes toward your liking. This touch up appointments are usually included in the price that you pay the first time since it's so expensive already. When I booked this place, I paid $675 and I even tipped Rejina 20% for the service (total of $810). I thought that this is it for cost but to my surprise when I went to my follow up appointment 8 weeks later, Rejina was going to charge me an additional $150 for the touch up (basically a service provided to ensure the original procedure is toward your liking). So if your original procedure is not toward your liking, you can expect to pay even more to correct it at this place. I immediately confronted her about this. Given this additional pricing, this push the price to $825 which is more expensive compared to the other places that I've been to. After complaining to Rejina that I've already paid over $800 including tip the first time and now an additional $150 will pretty much push the price closer to $1000 which seems a little ridiculous given the place is not fancy and she only gave me one small lousy ointment for aftercare with no printed instructions for aftercare. I didn't feel the pricing justify the service. I was really disappointed because I thought Rejina did a good job but I felt scammed that they didn't disclose to me when I made the follow up appointment that I would be charged an additional $150 while other microblading place always have the touch up appointment included in the original price. After complaining about it, Rejina decided to charge me $50 for the appointment instead which is better than $150 but still doesn't justify the additional cost for a follow up appointment that are usually recommended after 6-8 weeks of service to correct or improved the first procedure. So beware of their microblading pricing. There are other excellent microblading places that are way more professional than this place where the pricing includes the follow up/touch up appointment. Ask about the real pricing before committing. read more

Regina was great at answering my questions and preparing me for the microblading session. I definitely left the session happy and felt my eyebrows looked great! Unfortunately, my eyebrows began to fade out after the touch up to the point that it now looks like a faded tattoo. Also, one end of my eyebrow was done higher than where my brow hair usually grows. At first it wasn't noticeable because Regina had threaded off most of the end of my eyebrow when doing the microblading. But now that my hair has grown back in it looks like I have two ends. One a little higher and another lower and because they are two different colors since the microblading has faded off to a light grey/black and my natural eyebrows are a dark brown it looks horrible. I did not want to go through this process again and I am waiting to see how long it may take for them to completely fade out. However, due to how noticeable the difference is I may have to find someone to fix this. read more

Rejina does a nice job with eyebrow work However, when I've been there and the last two times she had other people watching and helping out without asking, ahead of time ,whether I minded other people in the room. Also, she seemed to be caught up in conversation is her "lunch room" and the numbing cream that had on me started to wear off half way through the procedure.Also, er son also called mid-procedure and she answered the phone. Rejina is a brow wizard! I should start by saying this process (of having your brows microbladed) has many ups and down emotionally, as my poor boyfriend can attest to. (Sorry Danny) I'm Irish and I don't have a lot of natural brow. Additionally, I dye my hair dark and end up needing to fill them in with makeup. Time consuming, costly, annoying etc.. I had my brows microbladed before in LA but the lady had such a gentle hand that it really never made much of a difference. More like it gave me a template for filling them in myself with makeup. This was a totally different experience from start to finish. Honest cons: it hurts a bit when happening, itches when healing and looks super strange for the first 24 hours- the ups and downs are intense! They are swollen and very dark at first- THIS IS NOT WHAT THEY WILL LOOK LIKE! YOU HAVE NOT RUINED YOUR FACE!! Honest Pros: the results after healing and touch up are EXCEPTIONAL, Regina is gentle, kind and good at what she does, the pricing is very fair. She made it as comfortable as possible and made it the best experience one could have! I am bad with change and was a little freaked out at first because when they scab over they get really dark. But that naturally occurs with any sort of tattooing. I don't like to leave bad reviews unless the service was HORRIFIC and it was. I showed up for my appointment at 12:30 today and no one even spoke to me for over 20 minutes. I finally called the number on the yelp site to see where someone was since my appt was at 12:30 (and it's now 1pm) and she strolls into the salon on her phone telling me I had my times wrong. I finally go into the back (at 1pm) where another customer is still in the room and she begins rushing threw the appointment. Her hands smelled of cigarettes and it felt so unclean, unplanned, and worst off she had my eye brow shapes all wrong. The woman kept taking phone calls all through the middle of my appointment and rushed through everything...literally the most sloppy service I have ever received. There were so many unprofessional things that occurred during this visit I can not even list them all. End result, left in tears because now I have 2 different eye brow shapes that hate, and as every girl knows how long I will have to live with them...months until they grow back. Don't get your Brazilian wax done here! I had the most unprofessional experience ever, and normally I'm indifferent to it because it was a Groupon and therefore inexpensive, so you get what you pay for, and with that attitude, I really did try to be cool with it. The door was left unlocked with other people barging in mid-wax session, with two women present the whole time because one was a trainee apparently, making me feel like a guinea pig. Both women stood there in that tiny room looking at me as I changed, leaving no privacy to get undressed/dressed. Don't get me started on the fact that she rushed through it and didn't pull along the direction of the hair growth, missing a lot of the hairs and causing it to rip and cause unnecessary pain. I have been getting Brazilians for the past 7 years, so trust me when I say it doesn't hurt normally. I really wanted to like this place because it's down the street from my house but unfortunately I can't recommend it for several reasons. I called in the morning to make an afternoon appointment because their website mentions a 20% new client discount. I confirmed the discount on the phone and said I wanted wax instead of threading (I find threading painful and the results about the same). When I came in, the woman grabbed thread and I repeated that I wanted wax. The waxing experience was one of the more painful ones I've had (one side of my face still hurts). After she finished waxing, she grabbed the thread again and said she wanted to clean my eyebrows up a little. I had given up arguing with her and let her thread my eyebrows. When I went to pay, she told me the cost was $18. The website clearly states $16 for waxing, which I told her and reminded her of the 20% off. We went back and forth several times, with her arguing that it was $18 for both waxing and threading (she later backtracked and said that it might be $16+). What irked me most is that she then proceeded to say she took off a lot of hair AND used the thread. I calmly told her her that I hadn't asked for threading. She ultimately honored the $16 price + 20% off, but jeez. What a hassle! And that's still more expensive than other places I've been to. read more

Getting my eyebrows micro bladed by Rejina was a wonderful experience. She was so attentive to my requests and asked for my feedback throughout the process. It was more painful than I had imagined, but Rejina was kind and added more numbing cream after the first sweep. I look forward to seeing what the results look like in the next few weeks. Update: Though Rejina was great, I regret getting this procedure. My eyebrows were not made symmetrical and it became more noticeable as it healed. My left brow was drawn higher than my natural brows so it looks weird without make up but a bit of foundation covers it up. This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded here and it was amazing! She was so nice and so fast. She know what she's doing and my eyebrows turned out great! It's so convenient since it's on BU campus and for a pretty decent price too! Would definitely recommend to my friends!! I decided to edit my review because a couple weeks back I went to get my eyebrows done. There was a different lady there and when I asked about the other lady she said that she's filling in for her. She was still super nice. Although, she wasn't as fast as the other lady I assumed she was just taking her time and being careful. She did my left eyebrow first and showed me in the mirror and I told her it was perfect assuming she would do the same with the right eyebrow. However, I think she messed up on the right eyebrow and went back to the other one to even it out. But she made it WAY thinner than I wanted it to. At the end I paid cash since so didn't have my card on me. She didn't have change so I had to run to the noodle restaurant upstairs. I have been a client for about a year and in that time Regina has helped me achieve the best shape for my face. Despite patchy areas and uneven growth, my brows have come back to life thanks to Regina! Even after 3 months of new growth (due to COVID restrictions) as soon as I came in my brows (and my confidence) were back!! I was so excited to be able to get my eyebrows microbladed. FINALLY a solution to my non-existent eyebrows. However I was slightly hesitant to commit to having this done. Among the lengthy positive reviews, I read a couple negative ones. I think it is a human trait to focus more on the negative, than the positive...and this is actually something I am working on... But of course as i entered Perfect Eyebrows for my appointment, all i could think about were the negative comments. Basically catastrophizing the situation before it was even happening. I envision myself walking out onto Comm Ave with these GIGANTIC, solid dark color, Nike checks...(semi) permanently on my face... Thankfully since doing some work I have learned meditative, grounding techniques, so I was able to pause, and remind myself of the countless POSITIVE things I read about MIss Rejina's microblade work. Rejina, who is not only amazingly talented at this procedure; is a very kind, patient, caring, and understanding woman. And I say these things GENUINELY, after only meeting her for my one appointment. MIss Rejina took the time to talk with me, to let me ask as many questions as I needed to feel comfortable. More importantly, she answered the questions that I had. She is a very professional. And as i mentioned previously, caring. She so badly wanted to avoid me being in pain. Im not going to lie, it hurt. But it is a tolerable pain I PROMISE!!!!( I am impervious to anesthesia; IV and topical, so pain in my case was unavoidable) So Rejina did her very best to be gentle, and as fast yet accurate as possible. I cant begin to explain the amount of compliments I have gotten, since Rejina did my eyebrows. I am only a few days in and they are almost totally healed already. As i left, right after having it done, my eyebrows were PERFECT... even being freshly sliced and colored, I had no concerns about going to work that evening, or being around people... Now that they are fading a bit since they are healing (this is what is suppose to happen) I intend on going back to see Miss Rejina to have my touch up done. At the initial appointment, she understood my hesitation. She suggested a color, but I decided to go with a shade that was lighter...and of course...as they are healing it is becoming evident that I should have used the color she suggested. But since the 1st touch up in included, I am excited to go back to see her to have her put in a few more hair strokes. One last thing (I'm sorry I know this is ridiculously long) I have been looking into getting cosmetic SURGERY (the kind with the knives & the cutting ) I have wanted to a brow lift/face lift for quite sometime... because sometime my eyelids and eyebrows, make my eyes seem "heavy" and more droopy and closed looking that I would prefer. Im so glad that I gave COMPLETE artistic control to Rejina. Instead of trying to control what she was going to do as far as shape, placement, and thickness, I just gave her the reigns... This was by far the best decision I could have made... Because of her talent, Rejina gave me the BROWLIFT / FACELIFT ive been wanting, without having to spend thousands of dollars, or having to get serious surgery with extensive healing....
